PHILLIPS
Elvin Phillips, 83, Iberia, died March 16, 2000, at his home.
He was born March 22, 1916, in Brumley, a son of Clarence and Delcie Godfrey Phillips. He was married June 4, 1972, in Kansas City, to Phyllis Melton, who survives at the home.
He was a 20-year Navy veteran, retiring in 1961. He was involved in cattle and farming operations for the 40 years following his retirement from the Navy. He also worked as a baker at Fort Leonard Wood for 16 years, retiring in December 1982.
He was a life member of Crocker VFW Post 4956 and the Fleet Reserve Association Branch 316, Springfield. He also belonged to the National Rifle Association.
Other survivors include: two sons, Larry Allan, Sedalia, and Gary Allan, Brazito; one daughter, Terry Allan, Sedalia; two brothers, Louis Phillips and Pat Phillips, both of Brumley; one sister, Ila Asa, Brumley; five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Birmingham-Martin Funeral Home, Crocker. Cremation will follow the service.
Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. today and from 9-10 a.m. Monday.
Memorials are suggested to the Lake Ozark Hospice.
HOENER
Robert W. "Robby" Hoener, 25, Holts Summit, died March 16, 2000, in Morrison.
He was born Aug. 16, 1974, in Sullivan, a son of Donald R. and Bonney Abbas Hoener. His mother survives in Jefferson City. He was married Oct. 15, 1994, in Jefferson City, to Darla Dellbringge, who survives at the home.
A lifelong Mid-Missouri resident, he attended schools in Linn. He was employed with the Joe Nolte Construction company and, before that, with G.J. Leimkuehler Construction.
Other survivors include: one son, Kurtis Hoener, of the home; one daughter, Shelby Hoener, of the home; one brother, Donald Ray Hoener Jr., the state of Arizona; his paternal grandmother, Esther Hoener, Jefferson City; and maternal grandparents, William and Cathern Saunders, Leasburg.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Morton Funeral Home, Linn. The Rev. Vern Williford will officiate. Burial will be in Bethel Presbyterian Cemetery, Bay.
Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. today.
Memorials are suggested to the Robert W. "Robby" Hoener Memorial Fund.
FOX
Dorothy D. Fox, 87, Jefferson City, died March 18, 2000.
She was born Aug. 4, 1912, in Stephens Store, a daughter of Isaac and Mary Catherine Turner Evans. She was married June 22, 1935, at Boonville, to Sidney E. Fox Sr., who died Jan. 4, 1995.
She attended Fulton High School and William Woods College. She worked as a manicurist in Fulton, then later for the Tweedie Shoe Factory and the P.N. Hirsch store in Jefferson City. She was a member of the Baptist Church.
Survivors include: one son, Sid Fox Jr., Jefferson City; two daughters, Joan Fox Davis, Nixa, and Judy Fox Owens, Jefferson City; nine grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Buescher Memorial Home. The Rev. Doyle Sager will officiate. Burial will be in Riverview Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 6-7:30 p.m. today.
Memorials are suggested to Cardinal Glennon Children's Hospital, St. Louis.
COFFMAN
Theresa "Terry" Owen Coffman, 51, Holts Summit, died March 18, 2000, at St. Marys Health Center.
She was born Feb. 12, 1949, in Linn County, a daughter of Francis A. and Marilyn Miller Logue. Her mother, Marilyn Kucks, survives in Jefferson City.
A 1968 graduate of Marceline High School, she worked as a bookkeeper and secretary. She was a member of the Eldon P.T.O. and was an avid women's league bowler.
Survivors include: two sons, Jeffery M. Owen, St. Joseph, and Jason Scott Owen, Independence; one sister, Kathleen Raub, Jefferson City; and one grandson.
One daughter, Lorinda Lynn, died in 1967.
Private graveside services will be today in Greenmore Memorial Gardens, Barnett. Roy F. Herren will officiate.
Memorials are suggested to Hospice of Jefferson and Mid-Missouri's Friendship House.
Arrangements are under the direction of Houser-Millard Funeral Home.
GANDY
Kevin Gandy, 46, Eldon, died March 19, 2000, at his home.
He was born Feb. 15, 1954, in Hannibal, a son of Chester L. Sr., and Rebecca Betty Ruth Vedenhoupt Gandy. He was married Dec. 25, 1992, in Columbia, to Sharlene Hunter, who survives at the home.
He was a chef.
Other survivors include: two sons, Michael Hunter and Christopher Sanders, both of the home; and four brothers, Ted Vedenhoupt, Tuscumbia, Henry Vedenhoupt, Sullivan, Jewell Gandy, San Francisco, Billy Gandy, Sedgewick, Ark., and Chester Gandy Jr., Eldon.
Private family services will be held at a later date. The remains were cremated.
Arrangements are under the direction of Phillips Funeral Home, Eldon.
THOMAS
Clyde "Wayne" Thomas, 62, Linn, died March 18, 2000, at St. Marys Health Center.
He was born April 20, 1937, in Boone County, a son of Oscar and Lula Ida Wohlgemuth Thomas. His mother survives in Hartsburg.
He was self-employed.
Other survivors include: four sons, Jeffrey Thomas, state of Texas , Roby Thomas, New Florence, Brian Thomas, state of Florida, and Tommy Wayne Thomas; one daughter, Doronda Farrell, Bellview, Neb.; one brother, Howard Thomas, Tebbetts; one sister, Juanita Bennett, Hartsburg; and grandchildren.
One daughter, Kathy Thomas, and one son, Randy Thomas, preceded him in death.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Robinson Funeral Home, Ashland. Wallace Johnson will officiate. Burial will be at a later date.
Visitation will be from 10-11 a.m. Tuesday.

MILLER
William F. "Bill" Miller, 77, Vienna, died March 18, 2000, at St. Marys Health Center.
He was born March 29, 1922, in Courtney, a son of James and Lydia Collins Miller. He was married April 28, 1946, in Olathe, Kan., to Eva Mae Morgan, who survives at the home.
A former Kansas City resident, he worked for the Santa Fe Railroad, Kansas City, retiring in 1984 as a section foreman. He later was employed in service station work.
Other survivors include: one daughter, Linda Terry, Vienna; one brother, Elmer Lee Miller, Kansas City, Kan.; one sister, Mary Ann Suddarth, Kansas City; two grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday in Vienna Public Cemetery. The Rev. Howard Opperman will officiate.
Arrangements are under the direction of Birmingham-Martin Funeral Home, Vienna.
KRAUS
Viola A. Kraus, 81, Jefferson City, died March 18, 2000, at Jefferson City Manor Care Center.
She was born Jan. 24, 1919, in Lohman, a daughter of Otto W. Sr. and Josephine Horak Goldammer. She was married Jan. 24, 1945, in Russellville, to Oscar W. Kraus, who died Jan. 6, 1987.
A lifelong resident of the Jefferson City area, she attended school in Russellville. She was a homemaker and a waitress at Tremains, Millies and several other local restaurants.
Survivors include: five brothers, Alfred Goldammer, Belle Plaine, Iowa, Ray Goldammer, Marengo, Iowa, Hugo Goldammer and Irvin Goldammer, both of Jefferson City, and Otto W. Goldammer Jr., Russellville; and two sisters, Regina Verbarg, Kirkwood, and Della Ott, Russellville.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Freeman Mortuary. The Rev. Gerald Scheperle will officiate. Burial will be in Riverview Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 10-11 a.m. Tuesday.
Memorials are suggested to Jefferson City Manor Care Center or to a charity of the donor's choice.
MARRO
Bernard Marro, 94, Sedalia, formerly of Gravois Mills, died March 15, 2000, at Bothwell Regional Medical Center, Sedalia.
He was born Sept. 3, 1905, at West Seneca, N.Y., a son of Joseph and Magdelena Marro.
He worked at Northwestern Steel & Wire Co., Sterling, Ill., retiring in 1972. He moved to the Gravois Mills area in 1972.
Survivors include: one son, Bernard H. Marro, Savona, N.Y.; two daughters, Joan Collinson, Mesilla Park, N.M., and Norma Webb, Bonita Springs, Fla.; three grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
He was cremated and interred in Hillside Cemetery, Dundee, N.Y.
Arrangements were under the direction of Scrivner-Morrow Funeral Home, Versailles.
ALLEN
Shirley V. Allen, 88, Barnett, died March 20, 2000, at his home.
He was born Aug. 7, 1911, in Barnett, a son of William D. and Hattie Ballwin Allen. He was married Feb. 12, 1931, in Missouri, to Mary Catherine Ratcliff, who survives at the home.
A farmer and a horseman, he worked at International Shoe Company for eight years. He also worked at the Agricultural Survey Corps, Versailles, during World War II.
Other survivors include: one son, Leo Eugene Allen, Tonganoxie, Kan.; one daughter, Donna Sue Allen Underwood, Abilene, Texas ; three grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Two grandchildren preceded him in death.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Phillips Funeral Home, Eldon. The Rev. Larry Palmgren will officiate. Burial will be in Greenmore Memorial Gardens, Barnett.
Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. today.
