CLARK
Opal E. Clark, 90, California, died April 6, 2000, at California Care Center.
She was born April 24, 1909, in Moniteau County, a daughter of Chester and Cordelia Stinson Cobb. She was married April 15, 1929, to Thomas Norman "T.N." Clark, who died May 22, 1977.
A homemaker, she played the organ for Masonic installations in California and Kansas City for more than 45 years.
She was a 58-year member of California Chapter 521 Eastern Star, where she was organist for more than 23 years.
She was a member of First Baptist Church, California, where she was pianist for the senior choir and Sunday school.
She was a member of the church's Sunshine Club and WMS.
She graduated from Clarksburg High School.
Survivors include cousins.
Services will be at 2:30 p.m. Saturday at Bowlin-Cantriel Funeral Home, California. The Rev. Greg Morrow will officiate. Burial will be in Hickman Cemetery, Clarksburg.
Visitation will be from 5:30-7:30 p.m. today, with an Eastern Star Service at 7:30 p.m.

ELDRIDGE
Goldie Ruth Eldridge, 88, Fulton, died April 5, 2000, at Callaway Community Hospital.
She was born Aug. 19, 1911, in Fulton, a daughter of Melvin and Lillie May Winingear Griffith. She was married Nov. 19, 1955, in Kansas City, to Homer W. Eldridge, who died May 12, 1989.
She worked in occupational therapy at Fulton State Hospital for 28 years until her retirement in 1979.
Survivors include: two daughters, Mildred Nichols and Sammie Durst, both of Fulton; two grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Debo Funeral Home, Fulton. Burial will be in Callaway Memorial Gardens.
Visitation will be from 12:30-2 p.m. Saturday.
NEAL
Charlene Neal, 64, New Bloomfield, died April 6, 2000, at Boone Hospital Center, Columbia.
She was born Aug. 14, 1935, in Callaway County, a daughter of Charles and Melba O. Vandelicht Hafey. She was married Aug. 10, 1951, to Harry Neal, who survives at the home.
She attended Victory Fellowship Church, Fulton.
Other survivors include: three sons, Gary Neal, Jefferson City, Mark Neal, Mokane, and Kevin Neal, New Bloomfield; one daughter, Darlene Hobbs, New Bloomfield; and seven grandchildren.
Her stepfather, Harry Martin, and one daughter, Donna Kay Neal, preceded her in death.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Maupin Funeral Home, Fulton. The Rev. Ted Harrison will officiate. Burial will be in Callaway Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Fulton.
Memorials are suggested to Victory Fellowship Church or the Leukemia Society for Patients Suffering from Myelodysplasia Syndrome.
NICHOLLS
Betty L. Nicholls, 71, Eldon, died April 6, 2000, at her home.
She was born Oct. 23, 1928, in Tuscumbia, a daughter of Charles and Tressie Witt Williams. She was married in May 1958, in Golden, Colo., to Bud Nicholls, who preceded her in death.
She moved to Colorado in 1955, working as a clerk/typist in social services.
She lived in Wyoming for 15 years, returning to Miller County in 1997.
Survivors include: two daughters, Nina Strange and Mary Strange, both of Eldon; two sisters, Ruby Tucker and Donna Hill, both of Eldon; one brother, David Vernon, Eldon; four stepsisters, Nina Williamson and Anna Mae Deffenbaugh, both of the state of Washington , and Martha Bashore and Natholle Wood, both of Eldon; and three grandchildren.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at her home, 605 E. Vogler Street, Eldon. The body was cremated.
Memorials are suggested to Lake Regional Health Center, Osage Beach.
Arrangements are under the direction of Phillips Funeral Home, Eldon.
ROBINSON
Clyde R. Robinson, 90, Lake Ozark, died April 6, 2000, at Lake Regional Health Center, Osage Beach.
He was born March 29, 1910, in Linn Creek, a son of Bert and Lena Davis Robinson. He was married Sept. 29, 1932, to Pebble Hill, who died Nov. 6, 1982. He was married March 31, 1984, in Lake Ozark, to Gertrude Keeth, who survives at the home.
An Army veteran of World War II, he was self-employed. He owned and operated a construction company.
He was a member of the VFW, the Masonic Lodge and Shriner's.
Other survivors include two sisters, Phylis Clayton, Lake Ozark, and Freda Frye, Victor, Mont.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Phillips Funeral Home, Eldon. The Rev. Wendall Estill will officiate. Burial will be in Boltz Cemetery, Kaiser.
Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. today.
Memorials are suggested to the Masonic Lodge.
BOYD
Jack Boyd, 66, Jefferson City, died April 5, 2000, at his home.
He was born Dec. 2, 1933, in Smithville, a son of Harold T. and Mary B. Waller Boyd.
A Navy veteran, he was a research analyst supervisor for the Missouri Division of Employment Security and an officer at the Missouri Division of Employment Security Credit Union, serving on the board of directors and supervisory committee.
Survivors include many friends.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Sunday at Houser-Millard Funeral Directors, Jefferson City. Burial will be in Moberly Cemetery.
Visitation will be from noon-1 p.m. Sunday.
Memorials are suggested to the charity of the donor's choice.
WARDAN
Anna Marie Wardan, 90, St. Louis, formerly of Eldon, died April 6, 2000, at Bethesda South Gate Nursing Home, St. Louis.
She was born Dec. 9, 1909, in Kahoka, a daughter of Frank and Olivia Drew VanDolah. She was married June 28, 1930, in Webster Groves, to Randall S. Wardan, who preceded her in death.
A secretary for Dr. Shelton's office in Eldon, she was a member of Eldon United Methodist Church.
Survivors include one son, William R. Wardan, St. Louis, and one grandson.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Monday at Phillips Funeral Home, Eldon. The Rev. Fred Smith will officiate. Burial will be in Eldon Memorial Gardens.
Visitation will be from 4-7 p.m. Sunday.

BECKER
Karen Cook Becker, 62, Great Bend, Kan., died April 8, 2000, at her home.
She was born March 10, 1938, in Larned, Kan., a daughter of Herb H. and Margaret Louise Clutter Shallenberger. She was married Aug. 17, 1954, in Great Bend, to Jack R. Cook, who died Aug. 7, 1984. She was married Oct. 19, 1996, in Great Bend, to Wayne H. Becker, who survives at the home.
She was a 1956 graduate of Great Bend High School and a retired Realtor with Keenan Real Estate in Great Bend. She lived in Great Bend for the past seven years, coming from Weaubleau.
She was a member of First United Methodist Church, the League of Women Voters, the Barton County Historical Society and Golden Belt Country Club, all in Great Bend.
Other survivors include: two sons, Rock L. Cook, Henley, and Dale J. Cook, Jefferson City; one daughter, Ginger L. Cook, Springfield; two stepsons, Rocky W. Becker, Seward, Kan., and Ricky D. Becker, Larned; two stepdaughters, Tammy A. Hayden and Teri K. Stephenson, both of Great Bend; two grandchildren and 10 stepgrandchildren.
She was preceded in death by one daughter, Leigh A. Wayne.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at First United Methodist Church, Great Bend. The Rev. Dick Near will officiate. Burial will be in Great Bend Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday at Bryant-Christians Funeral Home, Great Bend.
