KELLEY
Mary Frances "Gan Gan" Kelley, 72, Jefferson City, died Sept. 10, 2000, at St. Marys Health Center.
She was born July 27, 1928, in Fulton, a daughter of William and Mary Rebecca Lewis Lyons. She was married Feb. 1, 1948, in Jefferson City, to Robert Henry Kelley, who died April 12, 1954.
A graduate of Lincoln Lab School, she worked in the housekeeping department of St. Marys Health Center for 20 years, retiring in 1993.
She was a member and usher of Second Christian Church; and a member of the Tony Jenkins American Legion Post Auxiliary.
Survivors include: two daughters, Paula V. Simms, Jefferson City, and Gloria J. Brent, Memphis, Tenn.; three sons, Charles R. Kelley, Eric C. Kelley and William H. Kelley, all of Jefferson City; nine grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
One grandson preceded her in death.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Second Christian Church. The Rev. Arnold Parks will officiate. Burial will be in Longview Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Wednesday at Dulle-Trimble Funeral Home.
Memorials are suggested to the American Kidney Foundation.
McDOWELL
Celia Caroline McDowell, 87, Jefferson City, died Sept. 11, 2000, at St. Marys Health Center.
She was born Feb. 3, 1913, in St. Elizabeth, a daughter of Alphonse and Wilhemina Leueckenotte. She was married Nov. 23, 1939, to Joseph "Mack" McDowell, who died Dec. 12, 1979.
A homemaker, she was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church.
She is survived by one stepsister, Agnes Ruether, Jefferson City, and one stepbrother, Cletus Beck, Affton.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Houser-Millard Funeral Home. The Rev. John Hobratschk will officiate. Burial will be in Hawthorn Memorial Gardens.
Visitation will be from 10-11 a.m. Wednesday.
Memorials are suggested to Trinity Lutheran Church.
SINNETT
Ruth Worthey Sinnett, 85, Eldon, died Sept. 10, 2000, in St. Louis.
She was born Oct. 30, 1914, in Mount Pleasant, a daughter of Charles and Alice Anders Etter. She was married April 22, 1931, to Henry B. Worthey, who died Feb. 6, 1978. She was married Oct. 11, 1980, in Eldon, to Thurman O. Sinnett, who survives at the home.
A garment presser for Crum Cleaners and Irwin Cleaners, she was a member of Mount Pleasant Christian Church.
Other survivors include: three daughters, Marion Hibdon and Livirtie Burnham, both of Eldon, and Pat Derr, Mayesville; one son, Larry E. Worthey, Glen Carbon, Ill.; one stepdaughter, Barbara Sinnett, Holts Summit; two sisters, Ruby Wilson, Eldon, and Ann Hull, Lebanon; 12 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.
One son, Edward Worthey, and one granddaughter, preceded her in death.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Phillips Funeral Home, Eldon. Pastor George Wilson and Edward Wentz will officiate. Burial will be in Mount Pleasant Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. today.
Memorials are suggested to Mount Pleasant Christian Church.
SNODGRASS
William D. Snodgrass, 46, St. Charles, died Sept. 10, 2000, at his home.
He was born Jan. 23, 1954, in Jefferson City, a son of Roy W. and Aline Snodgrass. His mother, Aline Diehl, survives in Jefferson City. He was married to Martha A. Snodgrass, who survives at the home.
He worked as an electrical engineer for Boeing for 24 years. He was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church, St. Charles, where he was in the adult choir and was a former chairman of the board of stewardship. He was a member of Tau Beta Pi, Phi Eta Sigma and Phi Kappa Phi scholastic fraternities and IEEE. He was a den leader and Scout master.
Other survivors include: two sons, Brian William Snodgrass and David Andrew Snodgrass, both of St. Charles; and one sister, Mary Beth Snodgrass, Warrensburg.
Services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at Immanuel Lutheran Church. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Visitation will be from 3-8 p.m. today at Baue Funeral Home, St. Charles. Visitation will also be from 10-11 a.m. Wednesday at the church.
Memorials are suggested to Immanuel Lutheran Church or Lutheran High School of St. Charles County.
WELLS
Julie Theresa Boehm Wells, 34, Rosebud, died Sept. 11, 2000.
She was born Feb. 13, 1966, in St. Louis, a daughter of Andy and Marlyn Pohlmann Boehm. Her father and stepmother, Andy and Toni Boehm, survive. Her mother and stepfather, Marlyn and Dale Hofstetter, survive. She was married Dec. 4, 1999, in Owensville, to Darrel Wells, who survives at the home.
A 1984 graduate of Jefferson City High School, she was a homemaker. She was a member of Rosebud Methodist Church.
Other survivors include: one son, Cody Andrew Boehm, of the home; one brother, Jeffrey Boehm; three stepbrothers, Kevin Riddle, Michael Riddle and Timothy Riddle; two stepsisters, Laura Flannery and Andrea Copeland; and one grandmother, Mary Boehm.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Immaculate Conception Church, Owensville. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Visitation will begin at 4:30 p.m. today at Gottenstroeter Funeral Home, Owensville, with a wake service at 7 p.m.
ALBERTI
Karen Ann Schanzmeyer Alberti, 50, Henderson, Nev., formerly of Koeltztown, died Sept. 10, 2000, in Henderson.
She was born April 20, 1950, in Meta, a daughter of August and Clara Jaegers Schanzmeyer. Her parents survive in Koeltztown.
A graduate of Fatima High School, she graduated as an L.P.N. from the Phoenix School of Nursing in 1977. She was a home health nurse, living in Scottsdale, Ariz., and Chicago until 1977.
Survivors include: two sons, Christopher Divjak, Henderson, and Alex Divjak, Boston; seven brothers, Gene Schanzmeyer, Seattle, Mark Schanzmeyer, Rich Fountain, Leon Schanzmeyer, Meta, Michael Schanzmeyer, Taos, Steve Schanzmeyer and Gary Schanzmeyer, both of Westphalia, and Kevin Schanzmeyer, San Antonio, Texas ; five sisters, Irene Rehagen, Taos, Donna Luebbert and Debbie Kempker, both of Westphalia, Susan Medeiros, Nottingham, N.H., and Amie Peters, Loose Creek.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at St. Boniface Church, Koeltztown. Msgr. Bernard Boessen will officiate. Burial will be in St. Boniface Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 5-9 p.m. today at Hilke-Millard Funeral Home, Westphalia, with a prayer service at 8:30 p.m.
Memorials are suggested to a charity of the donor's choice.
DISTLER
Gerald Richard "Jerry" Distler, 44, Lohman, died Sept. 11, 2000, as a result of injuries sustained in an automobile accident.
He was born June 19, 1956, in Jefferson City, a son of Louis L. and Mary Louise Schmitz Distler. His parents survive in Jefferson City. He was married June 30, 1979, in Ashland, to Vicki K. Lutz, who survives at the home.
He was a 1974 graduate of Helias High School. He owned and operated Jerry's Custom Well Service.
He previously worked for Mid-MO Well Drilling and Uponor ETI Company.
He was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, and was a Lohman alderman and a volunteer for the Lohman and Russellville fire departments.
Other survivors include: two sons, Michael Distler and Christopher Distler, both of the home; two brothers, Daniel Distler, Shawnee, Kan., and Stephen Distler, Jefferson City.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Woodcrest Primitive Baptist Church, Ashland. The Rev. Wallace Johnson will officiate. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Thursday at Houser-Millard Funeral Home.

BRITT
Lola Wardell Galbreath Britt, 90, Fulton, died Sept. 10, 2000.
She was born July 26, 1910, a daughter of James W. Sr. and Mildred Jeffers Galbreath. She was married April 29, 1929, in Fulton, to Albert Horace Britt, who preceded her in death.
She attended Old North School and was a member of St. James Methodist Church, Fulton. She was a homemaker. She was a member of Mother Johnston Circle and served as communion steward.
Survivors include: one son, Delbert Britt, Fulton; five daughters, Mildred Rice, Edgemont, Ill., Shirley Fry, Mexico, May Anna Henderson, Alberta Sanderson and Edith Cole, all of Fulton; one sister, Jean Davis; three brothers, Henry Harrison Galbreath, Springfield, Ohio, Richard C. Galbreath, Fulton, and Roy R. Galbreath, Peoria, Ill; grandchildren; and great-grandchildren.
One daughter, Martha Lee, preceded her in death.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at St. James Methodist Church. The Rev. Henry Brewer will officiate. Burial will be in Southside Cemetery.
Memorials are suggested to St. James Methodist Church or Missouri River Hospice.

CALVIN
Joseph D. Calvin, 61, Ashland, died Sept. 12, 2000, at his home.
He was born Jan. 11, 1939, in Wilton, a son of Jesse D. and Lela Batye Calvin. He was married Nov. 6, 1981, in Danville, Ill., to Mary Ellen Henson, who survives at the home.
He worked as a machine operator for Tex-Tron Industries, Columbia.
He was a member of the Phoenix Society of Columbia.
Other survivors include: three sons, Joseph Calvin Jr., Indianapolis, Scott A. Calvin, Scottsdale, Ariz., and Rusty Jones, Ashland; one daughter, Jodi Calvin, Ashland; three brothers, Lloyd Calvin, Columbia, and Charles Calvin and Billy Calvin, both of Ashland; and two sisters, Kathleen Carter, Harrisburg, and Bonita Lange, Sunland, Calif.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Woodcrest Primitive Baptist Church, Ashland. Marvine Tolle will officiate. Burial will be in Woodcrest Cemetery, Ashland.
Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. Friday.
