LUEBBERT
Helen Marie Luebbert, 88, Jefferson City, died May 15, 1999, at Villa Marie Skilled Nursing Facility.
She was born Sept. 19, 1910, in Morrison, a daughter of Charles L. and Hedvine Mary Thuli Boss. She was married Sept. 30, 1939, in Morrison, to Henry Robert Luebbert, who died Feb. 18, 1997.
A homemaker, she was employed as a licensed practical nurse at St. Marys Health Center. She was a member of St. Peter Catholic Church and the Ladies Sodality.
Survivors include: one daughter, Joan H. Kauffman, Jefferson City; two sons, Charles D. Luebbert and Michael S. Luebbert, both of Jefferson City; two sisters, Sr. Veronica Boss, St. Louis, and Anita Woods, Hartsburg; 10 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at St. Peter Catholic Church. The Rev. R. William Peckman will officiate. Entombment will be in the mausoleum at Resurrection Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. today at Dulle-Trimble Funeral Home, with a prayer service at 7 p.m.
Memorials are suggested to the Helias Foundation or to the St. Peter Parish and Education Foundation.
LUECKE
Irma M. Scheulen Luecke, 85, Linn, died May 17, 1999, at Green Meadows Health Care Center, Linn.
She was born June 4, 1913, in Rich Fountain, a daughter of Mathias and Anna Schetzler Dill. She was married to John Scheulen, who died in 1954. She was married to Alvin Luecke, who died in 1992.
She owned and operated Luecke Lake and Lodge, near Westphalia, until 1993.
She was a member of Sacred Heart Church, Rich Fountain.
She is survived by three nephews.
One daughter, Laverne Scheulen, preceded her in death.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Sacred Heart Church. The Rev. Patrick Quinn will officiate. Burial will be in Sacred Heart Church Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Tuesday at Morton Funeral Home, Linn, with a prayer service at 7 p.m. Visitation also will be from 10-11 a.m. Wednesday at the church.
Memorials are suggested to a charity of the donor's choice.
MARCUM
Francis LaVerne "Vern" Marcum, 83, died May 16, 1999, at his home.
He was born Dec. 16, 1915, in Englewood, Kan., a son of Enos R. and Roxanna Austin Marcum. He was married Dec. 25, 1937, in Yuma, Ariz., to Lois Evelyn Long, who survives at the home.
He retired in 1978 from the University of Missouri Police Force.
Other survivors include: two daughters, Marilyn Malloy, Prineville, Ore., and Barbara Timbrook, Fulton; two sisters, Sara Long and Anna Long; eight grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Debo Funeral Home, Fulton. John Culver and Leslie Olson will officiate. Burial will be in White Cloud Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 6-8:30 p.m. Tuesday.
Memorials are suggested to the American Cancer Society or to Missouri River Hospice.
PATTERSON
Ernest "Pat" Patterson, 93, Jefferson City, died May 15, 1999, at Good Shepherd Care Center, Versailles.
He was born Jan. 12, 1906, near Linn Creek, a son of William and Mary Cathern Papen Patterson. He was married June 6, 1930, to Selma G. Nichols, who died March 11, 1999.
He was retired from the State of Missouri as a custodian in the Supreme Court Building. He was an Army veteran of World War II.
Survivors include nieces and nephews.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Kidwell-Garber Funeral Home, Versailles. The Rev. Jodie Jackson will officiate. Burial will be in Versailles Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 10-11 a.m. Tuesday.
PHELPS
Marie Phelps, 93, Bland, died May 15, 1999, at Jefferson City Manor Care Center.
She was born Dec. 29, 1905, in Bland, a daughter of Henry and Ella Skouby Jannick. She was married Feb. 2, 1924, to Alvin Phelps, who preceded her in death.
Survivors include: one daughter, Lucille McIntosh, Jefferson City; five grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
One son, Alva Phelps, preceded her in death.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Sassmann's Funeral Home, Bland. Bruce Elmore will officiate. Burial will be in Bland Union Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 9-11 a.m. Tuesday.
SIEVERT
June Faye Sievert, 77, Ashland, died May 16, 1999, at Ashland Healthcare.
She was born June 29, 1921, in Ashland, a daughter of William A. and Elizabeth Belle Easterly Hawkins. She was married April 6, 1944, in Merced, Calif., to Vernon Sievert, who survives at the home.
She was a homemaker and a member of the Ashland Baptist Church. She helped establish the Girl Scouts in Ashland. She was a Brownie leader and a past member of the Ashland Garden Club.
Other survivors include: one daughter, Margery June Detring, Key Largo, Fla.; one sister, Movelle Sweeny, Jefferson City; and two grandchildren.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Robinson Funeral Home, Ashland. The Rev. Jim Smith and the Rev. Jim West will officiate. Burial will be in New Salem Cemetery, Ashland.
Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. Tuesday.

STEIN
Theodore S. Stein, 60, Jefferson City, died May 14, 1999, in Spartanburg, S.C.
He was born Feb. 25, 1939, in St. Louis, a son of Louis and Gertrude Baer Stein.
A lifelong Jefferson City area resident, he was a 1957 Jefferson City High School graduate. He graduated from Lincoln University in 1965 with a bachelor's degree in mathematics and did advanced studies in computer sciences at New Mexico State University.
An Army veteran, he owned and operated Central Missouri Junk Co. He worked 20 years in data processing as a programmer, analyst, project leader and instructor and did design work for state and local governments.
He worked as a consultant for manufacturing companies doing payroll, personnel, accounting, costing and inventory controls. He was employed by the Adidas Company in Spartanburg, testing for Y2K compliance.
He was a member of Temple Beth El, the West Side Business Association and Jefferson Lodge 43, A.F. & A.M. He was a member of Order of the DeMoLay, where he was a chevalier.
Survivors include: one son, Michael S. Stein, Long Island, N.Y.; and one sister, Sharron Kanter, Lakewood, Wash.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Freeman Mortuary. Rabbi Yossi Feintuch will officiate. Burial will be in Riverview Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 1-2 p.m. Wednesday.
Memorials are suggested to Temple Beth El.
TODDLESON
Ina Mae Toddleson, 89, New Bloomfield, died May 16, 1999, at St. Marys Health Center.
She was born Dec. 7, 1909, in Holts Summit, a daughter of Arthur and Minnie Spencer Rhoads. She was married Nov. 7, 1931, in Jefferson City, to Leroy Toddleson, who died in 1989.
She worked in classified advertising for the Kansas City Star until her retirement in 1974. She was a member of Providence Baptist Church, New Bloomfield, the WMU of the church and the XYZ Club. She was a past member of the New Bloomfield Extension Club.
Survivors include one sister, Mardelle Dodson, Litchfield, Ill.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Providence Baptist Church. The Rev. Bill Wormsley will officiate. Burial will be in Union Hill Cemetery, Holts Summit.
Visitation will be from 5-8 p.m. Wednesday at Debo Funeral Home, Holts Summit, and from 1-2 p.m. Thursday at the church.
Memorials are suggested to Providence Baptist Church.
VAUGHN
Dorothy D. Vaughn, 76, Tuscumbia, died May 15, 1999, at her home.
She was born Jan. 31, 1923, in Tuscumbia, a daughter of Elmer and Edith Clark Flaugher. She was married April 17, 1943, in Walla Walla, Wash., to Fauster L. Vaughn, who died Jan. 10, 1986.
A former resident of the Brumley area, she was a homemaker. She did volunteer work including work with the Older Adults Transportation System.
Survivors include: one son, Fauster Lee Vaughn, Tuscumbia; two brothers, Harold Flaugher, Rocky Mount, and Bobbie Flaugher, Kansas City; two sisters, Beulah Ahart, Kansas City, Kan., and Betty Helton, Eldon; two grandsons and two great-grandchildren.
One infant son, Patrick Lee Vaughn, preceded her in death.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Rekus Funeral Home, Iberia. The Rev. Gene Edwards will officiate. Burial will be in Tuscumbia Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. today.
