SHIKLES

Ruby Ellen Amos Shikles, 78, Eldon, died Feb. 6, 2002, at St. Marys Health Center.

She was born June 28, 1923, near Enon, a daughter of Rado and Orpha Ellen Scott Amos. She was married Dec. 27, 1941, in Eldon, to Paul L. Shikles, who died Feb. 4, 2001.

She attended New Zion school near Enon. She worked for the Missouri Department of Revenue in the drivers license bureau, retiring after 20 years. She was a member of Enon Baptist Church, serving on the hostess committee and the WMU. She was a member of the "Three T's" of Eldon.

Survivors include: one son, Dale Shikles,  Jefferson City; one daughter, Dee Ellen Atkinson Maher, Eldon; one brother, Dorsey Amos,  Jefferson City; six grandchildren; six step grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and seven step great-grandchildren.

One son, Dennis James Shikles, preceded her in death.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Enon Baptist Church. The Rev. Randy Trumbo and the Rev. Keith Jones will officiate. Burial will be in Enloe Cemetery, Russellville.

Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Friday at Scrivner-Morrow Funeral Home, Russellville.

Memorials are suggested to Enon Baptist Church.

STAEHLE

Henry J. Staehle, 81, Brookfield, died Feb. 5, 2002, at Capital Region Medical Center.

He was born June 27, 1920, in St. Charles, a son of Henry J. and Bertha Sichelstiel Staehle. He was married Dec. 3, 1950, in Piggot, Ark., to Lois Goff, who survives at the home.

He was a mechanic for Fabick Caterpillar,  Jefferson City, and owned and operated a service station in Mike until his retirement in 1978.

An Army veteran of World War II, he was Catholic.

Other survivors include: two sons, Michael Staehle, Nowata, Okla., and Alan Staehle,  Jefferson City; two daughters, Anita Battle,  Jefferson City, and Lori Melte, Brookfield; 10 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

One son, Ralph Joseph Staehle, died in 1973 and one granddaughter died in 1978.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at St. Martin's Catholic Church, St. Martins. The Rev. Edwin Schmidt will officiate. Burial with military honors will be in St. Martin's Church Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Friday at Bowlin-Cantriel Funeral Services, California, with a prayer service at 7:30 p.m.

Memorials are suggested to the American Heart Association, P.O. Box 1653 Topeka, Kan. 66601-1653; or the American Lung Association, 1118 Hampton Avenue, St. Louis, Mo. 63139-3196.

LUCKE-PETERSON

Caroline Louise Lucke-Peterson, 84,  Jefferson City, died Feb. 6, 2002, at Encore Senior Village, Pensacola, Fla.

She was born Jan. 16, 1918, in Concordia, a daughter of Henry A. and Carolyn Lena M. Hinck Angelbeck. She was married Dec. 30, 1939, in Concordia, to Clarence R. Lucke, who died Dec. 2, 1983. She was married Sept. 14, 1985, in  Jefferson City, to Clayton "Cotton" Peterson, who died Aug. 15, 1998.

She graduated from Concordia High School. She lived in Louisville, Ky., and then in Birmingham, Ala., where she worked as payroll clerk for the state credit union. She moved back to  Jefferson City in 1952 and worked for Busch's Florist and Jenkins Music Company. She worked as a secretary for the Secretary of State for several years. From 1960 until her retirement in 1982, she worked as a civilian secretary for the administrative assistant to the adjutant general of the Missouri National Guard. She received a meritorious service award upon retirement.

She was a member of the First United Methodist Church, where she was a choir member. She was also a member of Wesley Methodist Church and was a member of the choir. She was a member of the Missouri State Retirees Association and the Ladies Auxiliary of the Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie 2693.

Survivors include: one daughter, Vera A. Norman, Destin, Fla.; one sister, Erma Cox, Moreno Valley, Calif.; one grandchild; and three great-grandchildren.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Buescher Memorial Home. The Rev. Monte Shinkle will officiate. Burial will be in Riverview Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 1-2 p.m. Saturday.

Memorials are suggested to the American Cancer Society.

BOILLOT

Cora D. Boillot, 98, formerly of Linn, died Feb. 7, 2002, at Lake Regional Hospital, Osage Beach.

She was born Oct. 11, 1903, in Osage County, a daughter of Edward and Cora Herndon Gilbert. She was married in May 1921 in Linn to William C. Boillot, who died April 15, 1979.

A homemaker, she was a member of St. George Church and St. Ann's Sodality, both in Linn.

Survivors include: one son, William L. Boillot, Camdenton; one daughter, Bernadine Morgan, St. Louis; seven grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at St. George Church. The Rev. Daniel I.J. Lueckenotte will officiate. Burial will be in St. George Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 9:30-10:30 a.m. Saturday at Morton Funeral Home, Linn.

Memorials are suggested to St. George Church.

BURCH

Bertha Ann Burch, 60, Belle, died Feb. 6, 2002, at her home.

She was born July 14, 1941, in Belle, a daughter of Andy and Ruby Butler Redden. Her mother survives, Belle. She was married Sept. 22, 1972, to Raymond Earl Burch, who survives.

She worked at Belle Counter Factory, the Maries Manor Nursing Home, TriCounty Bank, Conoco Pipeline, and Fabricated Structures. She was a member of the Morse Mill Baptist Church, near Cedar Hill.

Other survivors include: two sons, James "Pudd" Mitchell and Raymond Earl Burch Jr., both of Belle; two daughters, Joyce Bales, Dixon, and Sandra Mitchell, Aledo, Texas ; four sisters, Audrey Gieck, Judy Gehlert, and Ellen Henson, all of Belle, and Dale Banks, Springfield; one brother, James Andy Redden, Belle; seven grandchildren; and one great-granddaughter.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Community of Christ Church in Belle. Larry Banks will officiate. Burial will be in Liberty Cemetery.

Visitation will begin at 5 p.m. today at Sassmann's Funeral Home, Belle.

DANNAT

Delores Ann Dannat, 42, Camdenton, died Feb. 6, 2002, at Lake Regional Hospital, Osage Beach.

She was born May 18, 1959, in New Port, Vt., a daughter of Raymond and Margaret Lussier Gravel. She was married Aug. 14, 1982, to Wayne Dannat, who survives at the home.

She worked in food services at Canteen and Speedline in Camdenton. She was a member of St. Anthony Catholic Church in Camdenton. She was PTO president from 1999 to 2000. She was a second-grade Sunday school teacher and a volunteer at the Camdenton schools.

Survivors include: two sons, Devin Dannat and Tyler Dannat, both of the home; two daughters, Erica Dannat and ReneŽ Dannat, both of the home; seven brothers, Roland Gravel, Northfield, Conn., Raymond Gravel and Marcel Gravel, both of Wolcott, Vt., Robert Gravel, Hardwick, Vt., Lucien Gravel, North Wolcott, Vt., Norman Gravel, East Hardwick, Vt., and Edward Gravel, Cabot, Vt.; five sisters, Jane Bachart, East Hardwick, Vt., Arline Pasette, Hardwick, Vt., Paulette Hill, Johnson, Vt., Hazel Bowen, Morrisville, Vt., and Debbie Draper, Elmore, Vt.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Anthony Catholic Church. The Rev. Ben Luedtke will officiate. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery, Hardwick.

Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. today, with rosary and prayer services at 7 p.m., at Hedges Funeral Home, Camdenton.

Memorials are suggested to Breast Cancer Society, 330 N.  Jefferson, Springfield, Mo. 65806.

GREFRATH

Hannelore M. Grefrath, 75,  Jefferson City, died Feb. 7, 2002, at Beverly Health & Rehabilitation Center.

She was born Dec. 8, 1926, in Altenwalde, Germany, a daughter of Johann C. and Amanda B. Meyer Keibel. She was married Aug. 20, 1948, in Loose Creek, to Raymond Grefrath, who died May 25, 1986.

She attended school in Altenwalde, Germany. She was a homemaker and a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church.

Survivors include: two sons, Edmund M. Grefrath and Johann R. Grefrath, both of  Jefferson City; one brother, Luther Keibel, Cuxhaven, Germany; two sisters, Eva Plambeck and Johanna Wurger, both of Wenningsen, Germany; and two grandchildren.

Private services will be held at a later date.

Memorials are suggested to Hospice of  Jefferson City & Mid-Missouri.

Arrangements are under the direction of Houser-Millard Funeral Directors.

KOTTWITZ

Wanda June Kottwitz, 73, Belle, died Feb. 6, 2002, at St. Marys Health Center.

She was born Jan. 23, 1929, in Osage County, a daughter of Emmet and Minnie Lansford Hassler. She was married Nov. 6, 1948, to Eugene Fred Kottwitz, who survives.

A lifelong Belle resident, she worked as treasurer for the city of Belle for 15 years until her retirement. She also worked as bookkeeper for Shell Oil, Harry Swanson Chevrolet and McQueen Chevrolet. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Belle, where she was treasurer for more than 25 years. She was also a member of the WMU.

Survivors include: one son, Rodney Kottwitz, Denver; one daughter, Gaye Lynne Sorrell, Rolla; one brother, Bob Hassler, Belle; and two grandchildren.

Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday at Belle First Baptist Church. Jim Bickell will officiate. Burial will be in Liberty Cemetery.

Visitation will begin at 5 p.m. Sunday at Sassmann's Funeral Home, Belle.

BLEDSOE

Services were Friday for Michael Joseph Bledsoe, 46, Orangevale, Calif., who died Feb. 3, 2002, at his home.

He was born May 31, 1955, in Rock Island, Ill., a son of John "Jim" and Clara Ellsworth Bledsoe. He was married April 6, 1974, in  Jefferson City, to Billie Jean Libbert. He was married in California to Gail M. Smith.

He graduated from Rio Linda High School in 1973. He worked with Department of Corrections at Folsom Prison before retiring as a sergeant. He was a master builder of Harley Davidson motorcycles.

Survivors include: one son, Michael John Bledsoe, Citrus Heights, Calif.; two daughters, Sandra Capuchin, Cameron Park, Calif., and April Chambers, Folsom, Calif.; one brother, Daniel Bledsoe,  Jefferson City; two sisters, Joyce Marshall and Patricia James, both of  Jefferson City; and four grandchildren.

Services were in Sierra View Funeral Chapel, Carmichael, Calif.
