GRANNEMANN
Robert "Bob" Grannemann, 64, Hermann, died May 2, 2002, at his home.
He was born April 11, 1938, in Hermann, a son of Ralph Sr. and Elizabeth Frey Grannemann. His mother survives in Hermann. He was married Nov. 20, 1954, in New Haven, to Carol Rector, who survives.
He graduated from Bailey Technical School. He owned and operated Grannemann's TV and Grannemann's Radio Shack and Appliances. He also earned a degree in air conditioning and heating equipment.
He was a member of St. Paul United Church of Christ in Hermann and was president of the church council. He was a member of the board of Hermann Area District Hospital, Industrial Development Authority, Loutre Shore Country Club and was wagon master for a hunting club in South Dakota.
He was a past member of the Hermann Jaycees. He was named outstanding Jaycee and received the distinguished service award. He was a past member of the Lions Club, Athletic Booster Club, Eagles and Historic Hermann. He was listed in the 1974 Who's Who in Missouri.
Other survivors include: four sons, Mark Grannemann and Clay Grannemann, both of Jefferson City, Corey Grannemann, Indianapolis, and Chad Grannemann, New Haven; two brothers, Ralph Grannemann Jr. and Wayne Grannemann, both of Hermann; two sisters, Glenda Kraettli, Hermann, and Sharon Landolt, Springfield; and six grandchildren.
Services will be at 11 a.m. today at St. Paul United Church of Christ. The Rev. James Elliott will officiate. Burial will be in Oak Haven Memorial Gardens, Hermann.
Memorials are suggested to St. Paul Church Parsonage, Hermann Area District Hospital or the American Cancer Society's Relay for Life.
Arrangements are under the direction of Toedtmann & Grosse Funeral Home, Hermann.
BARRAZA
Leslie Moreno Barraza, infant daughter of Elida Barraza and Jorge Rubio Moreno, Jefferson City, died May 3, 2002, at St. Marys Health Center.
Other survivors include: paternal grandparents, Pedro Moreno and Ascenion Rubio; and maternal grandparents, Antonio Barraza and Rosa Elena Lopez.
Private family services will be held at St. Peters Chapel in Jefferson City. Burial will be in Hawthorn Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
Memorials are suggested to a charity of the donor's choice.
Arrangements are under the direction of Houser-Millard Funeral Directors.
BOSS
Florence Lucille Benedict Boss, 91, Hermann, formerly of Chamois, died May 2, 2002, at Capital Region Medical Center in Jefferson City.
She was born November 26, 1910, in Chamois, a daughter of Joseph and Caroline Schollmeyer Benedict. She was married April 30, 1940, in Chamois, to John Herman Boss, who died March 6, 1968.
She was a member of the Most Pure Heart of Mary Catholic Church in Chamois, where she worked for many years as a housekeeper to the Parish Priests.
Survivors include: three daughters, Carol Starke, Hermann, Barbara Huse, Columbia, Betty Romaker, Rhineland; six grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; one brother, Frank Benedict, Jefferson City; and one sister, Josephine Kleithermes, Jefferson City.
Services are 11 a.m. Monday at the Most Pure Heart of Mary Catholic Church in Chamois. The Rev. Pat Dowling and the Rev. Fred Elskamp will officiate. Burial will follow in the Most Pure Heart of Mary Cemetery.
Visitation is 4-8 p.m. today at the Meyer-Hilke-Millard Funeral Home in Chamois, with a Rosary Service at 7 p.m.
Memorials are suggested to the Most Pure Heart of Mary Catholic Church for Masses.
FRY
Doris M. Fry, 47, Jefferson City, died May 3, 2002, at her home.
She was born June 27, 1954, at Quincy, Ill., a daughter of Leroy and Dody Basteen Elledge. Her mother and step-father, Dody and Richard Fisher, survive in Brazito. Her father survives at Quincy. She was married April 25, 1974, at Jefferson City, to Kenny W. Fry, who survives at the home.
A homemaker, she was a 1972 graduate of Jefferson City High School.
Other survivors include: four daughters, Cheri Femrite, Eugene, Gina Fry, Columbia, Annie Fry, Jefferson City, and Britney Fry of the home; seven brothers, Joe, Kenny, David and James Fisher, all of Jefferson City, Lee, Greg and Todd Elledge, all of Quincy, Ill.; four sisters, Marsa Mathews, Mary Rains, Cindy Ojeda and Paula Massman, all of Jefferson City; and three grandchildren.
Services are 11 a.m. Monday in the Freeman Chapel.
Visitation is 10-11 a.m. Monday.
Memorials are suggested to the Britney Fry Educational Fund.
HUTCHISON
Marvin T. Hutchison, 86, Jefferson City, died May 3, 2002, at the Capital Region Medical Center.
He was born May 10, 1915, in Maries County, a son of John B. and Hattie Ballance Hutchison. He was married June 17, 1939, at Northwood, Calif., to Iola B. Swearingen, who survives at home.
A lifelong resident of the Central Missouri area, he attended school in Vienna and Sedalia. He was employed by the Missouri Pacific Railroad for 20 years. He later worked as a corrections officer with the Missouri Department of Corrections. He worked at the Jefferson City Correctional Center for 20 years, retiring in 1980.
He was a member of the Memorial Baptist Church.
Other survivors include: two sons, Thomas Hutchison, Jefferson City, and John Hutchison, Kansas City; three daughters, Marva Lister, Jefferson City, Marva Allen, Jefferson City, and Nancy Feisel, Dayton, Ohio; one sister, Lucy Noe of Ada, Okla.; 11 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Services are 11 a.m. Tuesday in the Freeman Chapel. The Rev. Ken Lumley and the Rev. Mike Rapp will officiate. Burial will be in the Mausoleum of Hawthorn Memorial Gardens.
Visitation is 10-11 a.m. Tuesday.
Memorials are suggested to the Memorial Baptist Church.
JACKSON
Edith Marie (Ice) Jackson, 74, Ashland, died May 3, 2002, at her home.
She was born Oct. 20, 1927, in Campbell, a daughter of Roy Joseph and Bertha Mae (Smith) Ice. She was married Aug. 14, 1945, to Lloyd Austin Jackson, who died Feb. 6, 1972.
She was a clinical psychologist at Fulton State Hospital. She was an alumni of Stephens College and the University of Missouri, where she received her master's degree.
Survivors include: one son, Kenneth Jackson, Ashland; three daughters, Marie Auer, Columbia, Pat Barnett, Ashland, and Jan Jackson, Columbia; five brothers, Bill, Jimmy, Charles and Jesse Ice, all of Poplar Bluff, and Robert Ice, Florida; two sisters, Donna Richmann and Mary Pratt, both of Poplar Bluff; seven grandchildren; five step-grandchildren; two great-children; and six step great-grandchildren.
Services are 2 p.m. today at Callaway Memorial Gardens.
Arrangements are under the direction of Maupin Funeral Home, Fulton.
PADILLA
Ernesto Moreno Padilla, 24, Jefferson City, died March 28, 2002, in Jefferson City.
He was born Sept. 9, 1977, in Edo De Mexico, Mexico, a son of Rogelio Moreno and Albertina Padilla De Moreno Suarez.
He was a grocery clerk.
Services will be held at the Atizipan Municipal Cemetery at Edo De Mexico, Mexico.
Local arrangements are under the direction of Houser-Milliard Funeral Directors, Jefferson City Chapel.
ASH
Mancil C. Ash, 74, Holts Summit, died May 5, 2002, at Oakview Skilled Care Center.
He was born Oct. 4, 1927, in California, a son of Porter W. and Rosetta Flippen Ash. He was married Nov. 18, 1949, in Harrison, Ark., to Frances Henrietta Thessen, who survives at the home.
He worked for Landwehr Dairy for 20 years and later owned and operated Formco Foundation until his retirement in 1986.
Survivors include: four sons, William Rick Wilbers, Daryl D. Ash, Randy M. Ash, and Troy L. Ash, all of Holts Summit; five daughters, Darla Kay Schrimpf, Lisa G. Schuster, and Jill E. Kepner, all of Holts Summit, Cheryl L. Wilson, New Bloomfield, and Lana J. Wiebold, Westphalia; 19 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Lorene Stock and Katie Galliher, California.
One son, Gary L. Wilbers, preceded him in death.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Dulle-Trimble Funeral Home. The Rev. Frederick J. Elskamp will officiate. Burial will be in St. Andrew Cemetery, Holts Summit.
Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Tuesday, with a prayer service at 7:30 p.m.

BISELX
Helen Byers Biselx, 85, Eldon, died May 5, 2002, in Eldon.
She was born May 25, 1916, in Rockport, Ill., a daughter of Dewitt and Anna Hart Byers. She was married Oct. 13, 1946, in Hannibal, to Francis J. "Frank" Biselx, who died May 7, 1985.
She graduated from Hannibal High School. She operated the Beauty Shop in Mark Twain Hotel in Hannibal. She was co-owner and operator of El-Rancho Resort for 37 years prior to her retirement. She was a member of the United Methodist Church in Eldon. She was a Womens Marine Corps veteran.
Survivors include: one son, Barry Biselx, Lake Ozark; one daughter, Lisa McGrath Myles, Littleton, Colo.; one sister, Bernice Rushton, Fort Myers, Fla.; and three grandchildren.
Services will be at 7 p.m. Tuesday at Phillips Funeral Home in Eldon. The Rev. Fred Smith will officiate. Graveside services will be at noon Wednesday in Park Lawn Cemetery, Barry, Ill.
Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. Tuesday.
