HALL
Services were Tuesday for LaNelle Hall, 67, Nixa, formerly of Jefferson City, who died March 1, 2003, at St. John's Regional Health Center, Springfield.
She was born Feb. 24, 1936, in Melbourne, Ark., a daughter of Max and Ella Rose Smith Lawrence. She was married May 4, 1956, in Wichita, Kan., to Donald E. Hall, who survives.
She was a homemaker and owned a ceramics business in Jefferson City in the late l980s. She moved to Olathe, Kan., in 1994 and continued to operate her business. She later moved to Nixa. She was a member of First Baptist Church, Ozark. She was a preschool Sunday school teacher and Missions Friends and GA leader for more than 40 years. She was a Girl Scout leader.
Other survivors include: one son, Bradley E. Hall, Overland Park, Kan.; one daughter, Rebecca Rose Ayers, Sikeston; one brother, Malcolm Lawrence, Melbourne; and six grandchildren.
One son, Barry Lynn Hall, preceded her in death.
Services were at Adams Funeral Home, Nixa. The Rev. Troy Rhoden officiated. Burial was in Melbourne Cemetery.
LEVERICH
Richard P. Leverich, 73, Versailles, died March 3, 2003, at Capital Region Medical Center.
He was born June 25, 1929, in Kansas City, Kan., a son of John and Irene Leverich. He was married to Madeline Rice, who preceded him in death. He was married to Elizabeth Taylor, who survives in Versailles.
He attended Wyandotte High School. He worked for Holsum Bakery and remained a baker for 50 years in Kansas City. He was a boxer in the Golden Gloves Association and was a volunteer fireman for Highland Crest Fire Department and the South Park Station for more than 20 years. He was a volunteer in the Navy Reserves. He lived in Versailles for the past 10 years.
Other survivors include: one son, Richard Leverich II, Rocky Mount; two daughters, Linda Evans, Kansas City, and Ilene Vaught, Sunrise Beach; five grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Friday in Versailles Cemetery.
Visitation will be from noon-2 p.m. Friday at Scrivner-Morrow Funeral Home, Versailles.
Memorials are suggested to the American Cancer Society.
MUIR
Beatrice M. Muir, 95, Savannah, formerly of New Bloomfield, died March 4, 2003, at Shady Lawn Nursing Home, Savannah.
She was born Sept. 18, 1907, in Concord, a daughter of George W. and Sallie Adelle Steele Martin. She was married Dec. 23, 1931, in Jefferson City, to Homer T. Muir, who died Oct. 16, 1993.
A 1925 graduate of Jefferson City High School, she also graduated from Christian College, Columbia. She received a bachelor's degree in elementary education from the University of Missouri in 1933. She was a homemaker and taught school for more than 32 years, at West Elementary School and Southwest Elementary School, until her retirement.
She was a member of Providence Baptist Church, New Bloomfield, where she taught adult Sunday school and was the church pianist. She was a member of the Cole County Area Retired Teachers Association, the Missouri Retired Teachers Association, the National Retired Teachers Association and the American Association of Retired Persons.
Survivors include one son, H.T. Muir, Savannah, five grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
One son, Jackson Martin "Jack" Muir, died Feb. 23, 1992.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Buescher Memorial Home. The Rev. Jim Shaver will officiate. Burial will be in Riverview Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Thursday.
Memorials are suggested to Providence Baptist Church, New Bloomfield.
THOMAS
Lelah L. Thomas, 82, Chillicothe, died March 4, 2003, at Grand River Health Care.
She was born Aug. 28, 1920, in Dawn, a daughter of Ora and Lizzie Linville McCracken. She was married March 27, 1945, in Chillicothe, to Hubert Thomas, who died Dec. 20, 1997.
Survivors include: five sons, Floyd "Butch" Thomas, Mooresville, Lloyd "Bud" Thomas, Chillicothe, William R. Thomas, Springfield, Darrell Thomas, Kansas City and Dale Thomas, Chillicothe; one daughter, Linda Strange, Jefferson City; one sister, Elsie Acree, Mooresville; 15 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Friday at Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe. Burial will be in Blue Mound Cemetery, Blue Mound.
Visitation will be from 7-8 p.m. Thursday and from 8 a.m.-1:30 p.m. Friday.
Memorials are suggested to Blue Mound Cemetery.
TURNER
Services were today for Alma Dusendschon Turner, 84, Paris, who died March 3, 2003, at Monroe Manor Nursing Home.
She was born Nov. 7, 1918, in Santa Fe, Missouri, a daughter of Horace B. and Mildred Dusendschon Wilkerson. She was married Nov. 15, 1942, in Hannibal, to Frank Dean Turner, who died Dec. 3, 2001.
She was a retired telephone operator for Central Telephone Company. She was a member of First Baptist Church, Paris, where she taught Sunday school preschool class for 50 years. She was a member of WMU.
Survivors include: one daughter, Denise Ann Turner, Jefferson City; three brothers, Ralph Wilkerson, Ed Hunt Wilkerson and William B. Wilkerson, all of Paris; and two sisters, Alberta Bernston and Alta Henning, both of Paris.
Services were at Agnew Funeral Home, Paris. The Rev. Wesley Hammond officiated. Burial was in Walnut Grove Cemetery.
Memorials are suggested to Monroe Manor Nursing Home.
WEAVER
Robert Lee Weaver, 65, Eldon, died March 4, 2003, at Capital Region Medical Center.
He was born March 19, 1937, in Wichita, Kan., a son of Ernest E. and Gladys Tunis Weaver.
He retired from the Navy and previously was employed with the Missouri Department of Corrections and Rebecca's Restaurant and Lounge.
Services will be at 3 p.m. Friday at Weber and Sons Funeral Home, Russellville. The Rev. Truman Hodge will officiate. Burial will be in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Eldon.
Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Thursday.
Memorials are suggested to the American Heart Association.
HILL
Elsie V. Hill, 81, California, died March 5, 2003, at Jefferson City Manor Care Center.
She was born June 27, 1921, in California, a daughter of August W. and Julia Beisler Ziehmer. She was married March 22, 1939, in California, to Eugene Burke Hill, who died Oct. 23, 1983.
A homemaker, she was co-owner and co-operator of Hill Hardware for 34 years.
She was a member of First Baptist Church, California.
Survivors include: one son, Gary Hill, Burkburnett, Texas ; one daughter, Nancy Rau, Jefferson City; three grandchildren; and one great-granddaughter.
Services will be at 2:30 p.m. Saturday at Bowlin-Cantriel Funeral Services, California. The Rev. Greg Morrow will officiate. Burial will be in California City Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. today.

JAMESON
Services were today for Gladys Evelyn Jameson, 90, Willard, who died March 5, 2003, in Willard Care Center.
She was born Jan. 14, 1913, near Drexel, a daughter of Walter U. and Eulah Elliott Calkin. She was married June 16, 1942, to William M. Jameson, who died Aug. 7, 1981.
She was a homemaker and a member of Willard First Baptist Church.
Survivors include: three sons; Bill Jameson, Willard, Spencer Jameson, Ash Grove, and Richard Jameson, Clemmons, N.C.; two daughters, Nancy Hall, Camdenton, and Marie Graham, Willard; 19 grandchildren; and 19 great-grandchildren.
One son, Benny Jameson, died Feb. 3, 2003. Two grandsons also preceded her in death.
Services were at Willard First Baptist Church. The Rev. Tim Warren officiated. Burial was in Big Niangua Cemetery, Roach.
