BARTSHE
Alma Gail Bartshe, 77, Jefferson City, died April 2, 2003, at Villa Marie Skilled Nursing Facility.
She was born May 1, 1925, in Atlanta, Ga., a daughter of Thomas A. and Madeleine Evans Gramling. She was married March 2, 1946, in Atlanta, to the Rev. Arthur A. Bartshe, who died Feb. 15, 1983.
She attended schools in Atlanta. She was a member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church.
Survivors include: one son, Rodney Adrian Bartshe, Grain Valley; two daughters, Nanoya Gail Bartshe and Madeleine Naomi Bartshe, both of Jefferson City; one sister, Marguerite Pierce, Gainsville, Ga.; three grandchildren; and five great- grandchildren.
Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church. Graveside services will be at 3 p.m. Friday in Hermitage City Cemetery, Hermitage.
Visitation will be from 9:30-10:30 a.m. Friday at the church.
Memorials are suggested to Pleasant Hill Baptist Church.
Arrangements are under the direction of Houser-Millard Funeral Directors.
BLOOM
Virginia L. Bloom, 83, Sedalia, died March 31, 2003, at Bothwell Regional Health Center, Sedalia.
She was born June 7, 1919, in Bismarck, a daughter of David S. and Elizabeth Arnoldi Browne. She was married Dec. 24, 1940, in Farmington, to Francis Raymond "Ray" Bloom, who survives at the home.
She was raised and educated in the Flat River and Bismarck area. She worked for the Missouri Division of Employment Security in Jefferson City. After retiring, she moved to Sedalia and became a painter. She was a member of Wesley United Methodist Church in Sedalia and United Methodist Women.
Other survivors include: one daughter, Carol Bloom Timberman, Clearfield, Utah; one brother, Jon Browne, Ballwin; two grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Friday at Wesley United Methodist Church. The Rev. Frederick Zahn will officiate. Burial will be in the Missouri Veterans Cemetery, Higginsville.
Visitation will be from 9-11:30 a.m. Friday at McLaughlin Funeral Chapel, Sedalia. Visitation also will be from noon-1 p.m. Friday at the church.
Memorials are suggested to a charity of the donor's choice.
MILLER
Nancy Ann Miller, 64, Holts Summit, died March 31, 2003, at St. Marys Health Center.
She was born Feb. 16, 1939, in Manzanola, Colo., a daughter of Charles S. and Blanche Frisbey Miller.
She attended schools in Rocky Ford, Colo. She was a homemaker and a member of the Church of Nazarene, Jefferson City, where she was active with the Prime Timers Organization.
Survivors include: two brothers, Orman Charles Miller, Ft. Myers, Fla., and Fletcher Frisbey Miller, Anchorage, Alaska; five sisters, Maurice Granzella, Alamo, Texas , Questa Bernice Woods, Seward, Alaska, Doris Blanche Miller and Marilyn Moritzky, both of Holts Summit, and Sharon Schmidt, Elbert, Colo.
Private services will be held. Burial will be in Longview Cemetery.
Memorials are suggested to the Church of Nazarene.
Arrangements are under the direction of Buescher Memorial Home.
STAHL
Paul Edwin Stahl, 78, Syracuse, died March 31, 2003, at Boone Hospital Center, Columbia.
He was born Jan. 16, 1925, near Syracuse, a son of Leonard and Esther Peoples Stahl. He was married Aug. 27, 1954, in Lisle, to Mary Vivian Simmons, who survives.
He graduated from Syracuse High School and received a bachelor's degree in agriculture from the University of Missouri. He was a farmer, living in the Syracuse area all of his life. He was a member of Syracuse Baptist Church, where he was a deacon and a Sunday school teacher. He was a Mason for 50 years, a board member of the Rural Fire Department, and was a member of the executive board of the Harmony Baptist Association. He was an Army veteran.
Other survivors include: two daughters, Yvieta Ulmer, Mt. Juliet, Tenn., and Marietta Stahl, Brownsville, Texas ; one brother, Leonard Allen Stahl, Syracuse; and six grandchildren.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Syracuse Baptist Church. The Rev. Harold Nicks and the Rev. Marlin Brown will officiate. Burial will be in Syracuse Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Thursday at Meisenheimer-Griswold Funeral Home, Tipton.
Memorials are suggested to Syracuse Baptist Church or Gideons.
VIESSMAN
Donald Michael Viessman, 45, Columbia, died April 2, 2003, at Boone Hospital Center, Columbia.
He was born Aug. 14, 1957, in Vienna, a son of Raymond B. and Rosalyn Ann Schlueter Viessman.
He attended Fatima High School, Westphalia.
He was self-employed and was a member of Freewill Baptist Church, Columbia. He was a member of Marine Corps League, Central Missouri Detachment, and was a veteran of the Marine Corps.
Survivors include: two brothers, Roy Lee Viessman, Jefferson City, and Ronnie Viessman, El Cerrito, Calif.; six sisters, Sandra "Sammie" Brown, Karen Sue Viessman, and Mary McCormick, all of Jefferson City, Charlotte Schauwecker, Columbia, Linda Bornhoft, Lee's Summit, and Cheryl Eads, Taos.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Houser-Millard Funeral Directors, Jefferson City. The Rev. Steve Reeves will officiate. Burial with military honors will be in Hawthorn Memorial Gardens.
Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Thursday.

HEIMBEAUGH
James Floyd "J.F." Heimbeaugh, 81, Camdenton, died April 1, 2003, at Windsor Estates Care Center, Camdenton.
He was born July 10, 1921, near Roach, a son of Floyd and Nellie Rooffener Heimbeaugh. He was married Nov. 18, 1938, to Lillie Mae Meads, who survives at the home.
An Army veteran of World War II, he lived in Kansas City before returning to Camdenton. He worked in construction for several years and then worked for Camdenton's public works department. He was a member of Pleasant Grove Church.
Other survivors include: two sons, Charles "Sonny" Heimbeaugh and Roy Heimbeaugh, both of Camdenton; one daughter, Wanda Wilson, Independence; one brother, Tona Heimbeaugh, Camdenton; one sister, Freida Waters, Camdenton; 11 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.
One great-granddaughter preceded him in death.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Allee-Holman-Howe Funeral Home, Camdenton. The Rev. Paul Burns will officiate. Burial will be in Pleasant Grove Cemetery, near Macks Creek.
Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. today.

REED
John D. Reed, 47, Clarksburg, died April 1, 2003, at his home.
He was born Nov. 11, 1955, in Moniteau County, a son of Albert and Opal Bolinger Reed, who survive in California.
He attended Clarksburg School. He was a farmer, a self-employed carpenter, plumber and worked in maintenance at California Elementary School. He was a member of Main Street Baptist Church.
Survivors include: one son, Clint Reed, Clarksburg; one daughter, Jennifer Reed, Greenwood, Ark.; three brothers, Albert W. Reed Jr. and Charles Keith Reed, both of California, and Ronald Wayne Reed, Clarksburg; five sisters, Ruby Parkes and Patricia Ann Elliott, both of California, Emma Kirchhoff, Tovey, Ill., Bonnie Stinson, Clarksburg, and Donna Sue Kleoppel, Warrensburg.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Friday at Main Street Baptist Church. The Rev. Ken Mathes will officiate. Burial will be in Flag Spring Cemetery, California.
Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. today at the church.

SELVIDGE
Roberta Cowley Selvidge, 76, University City, formerly of Jefferson City, died April 1, 2003, at St. Marys Hospital, Richmond Heights.
She was born Jan. 3, 1927, in Jefferson City, a daughter of Arthur B. and Leonilla Tellman Cowley.
She was founder of World News Company, a newspaper distribution company. She was a volunteer at St. Marys Health Center in Jefferson City and a member of the Cole County Historical Society, where she was a docent for the museum.
Survivors include: two sons, Mark Selvidge, San Antonio, Texas , and Blaine Selvidge, St. Louis County; three daughters, Lauren Baxter, Ann Pointer, and Susan Selvidge, all of St. Louis County; two brothers, Arthur Cowley and William Cowley; one sister, Janet Schwering; and five grandchildren.
Services will be at 11:30 a.m. Saturday at Dulle Trimble Funeral Home, Jefferson City. Burial will be in Resurrection Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 5-8 p.m. today at Buchholz Mortuary West, Chesterfield. Additional visitation will be from 10:30-11:30 a.m. Saturday at Dulle Trimble Funeral Home.
