MCINTYRE

Martha Mason Donaldson McIntyre, 88, of  Jefferson City, died Wednesday, June 25, 2003, in Mason, Texas .

She would have celebrated her 89th Birthday on July 3rd. Martha moved to Texas several years ago to be near family.

She was born July 3, 1914, in Aberdeen, Mississippi, the daughter of Mary Elizabeth  Jefferson and James O'Bannon Donaldson. She was married January 22, 1938, in Jackson, Mississippi, to Raymond "Mack" McIntyre, who preceded her in death on November 20, 1997.

She graduated in 1935 with a B.S. degree in Biology from Millsaps College in Jackson, Mississippi, where she was a member of Phi Mu Sorority. Martha graduated in 1936 with a M.A. degree in Physical Education from George Peabody College in Nashville, Tennessee. She also held a Teaching Fellowship at  Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge for the summer of 1936. She came to Missouri the fall of 1936 to accept a teaching position at Central Methodist College in Fayette, Missouri, where she taught girls physical education for three years. Much later she was involved in the Kirkwood, Missouri School System for many years before she and "Mack" moved to  Jefferson City in 1966, where she also taught.

In  Jefferson City, she belonged to the Jane Randolph  Jefferson Chapter of the Daughters of American Revolution; the Capital Region Medical Auxiliary; the  Jefferson City Country Club, where she enjoyed golf and bridge. She also belonged to the First United Methodist Church.

Martha is survived by two daughters: Diane Evans and husband Joe of Mason, Texas and Susie Hall and husband Bruce of Atlanta, Georgia; five grandchildren; five great-grandchildren with #6 on the way; and two step-great-grandchildren.

Graveside Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, July 5, 2003, at Riverview Cemetery with Rev. Jerry Boehmer officiating.

Expressions of sympathy may be made to the Missouri State Medical Association (MSMA) Foundation, P.O. Box 1028;  Jefferson City, Missouri 65102. Arrangements are under the direction of Houser-Millard Funeral Directors -  Jefferson City Chapel, 2613 West Main Street; 636-3838.

PUCKETT

Margaret Rebecca Puckett, 62, of Dixon, died Friday, June 27, 2003 in St. John's Medical Center, Springfield, from injuries incurred in an auto accident.

She was born July 29, 1940 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, the daughter of Edward and Ema Duggan.

Survivors include: three sons, Steve Evans, Kiefer,  Oklahoma, John Puckett, Wasilla, Alaska and George Puckett, Dixon; one daughter, Vonnie Maasen, Dixon; one brother, Patrick Duggan, Cudahey, Wisconsin; one sister, Dixie Zacker, New Berlin, Wisconsin; and three grandchildren, Michelle Maasen, Chandler Pucket and Josie Puckett.

Memorial service to be held at 7:00 p.m., Saturday at Birmingham-Martin Funeral Chapel, Dixon.

WOODS

Billy Leroy Woods, 67, died Tuesday, July 1, 2003.

He was born April 25, 1936, in Maries County, a son of Raymond and Martha Faye Roberson Woods. He was married at Dixon to Rosalie Green.

He is survived by his wife: Rosalie J. Woods; 3 sons: Brian Woods, Paul Woods and James Woods; 4 daughters: Anita Howes, Margaret Woods, Janet Illig and Michelle Tinker.

Visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, July 2, 2003 and 12:00 to 2:00 p.m. Thursday, July 3, in the Long-Gilbert Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, July 3, 2003, in the Long-Gilbert Funeral Home, Dixon, with Pastor Helen Winters officiating. Interment will be in the Kenner Cemetery.

WRIGLEY

Mrs. Mary Alice Wrigley, age 86 years, of  Jefferson City, MO died June 29, 2003 in Denver, Colorado.

She was born on May 8, 1917 in Jackson, Michigan, the daughter of Sewal A. and Louise Herbert Teeple, both deceased. She was married on March 22, 1945, at Detroit, Michigan to Donald K. Wrigley, who preceded her in death in 1980.

A resident of the Central Missouri area for the past 10 years, Mrs. Wrigley graduated from the Jackson Junior College in Jackson Michigan. She retired in 1993 from the Commerce Bank in St. Louis, MO where she worked as an Executive Assistant to the Vice President for Trust Services.

Mrs. Wrigley was a member of the First Methodist Church in  Jefferson City, MO, a member of the Newcomers Group, serving as President for one term and participated in the Ex-Club. She was also active with the Georgetown Association. Mrs. Wrigley volunteered alot of her time with the church, the Capital Region Health Plex, and the  Jefferson City Convention Center & Visitors Bureau. She also enjoyed playing cards with her friends of the Footloose Foursome, and quality time with the McDollies. Mrs. Wrigley enjoyed traveling to Mexico, Colorado, Canada, and Alaska.

Other survivors include: one son, Chris Wrigley of  Jefferson City, MO; one daughter, Tina Ward of Denver, Colorado; and 6 grandchildren.

A private family Memorial Service will be conducted at a later time.

Those desiring may make memorial contributions to The Great Rivers Council, Boy Scouts of America or the Missouri Humane Society. Local arrangements under the direction of Freeman Mortuary.

COLVIN

Dennis Colvin, 77, of Crocker, died July 2, 2003, at Lake Regional Hospital in Osage Beach.

He was born in Crocker on November 12, 1925, a son of Lonnie and Sarah Emma (Shelton) Colvin. On August 16, 1947, in Salem, Arkansas, he was married to Elizabeth Mae Palmer, who preceded him in death on May 10, 1998.

Those who survive him include: one daughter, Sherry Lewis of Iberia; 1 son, Gregory Colvin of Iberia; one brother, Dallas Colvin of Iberia; five grandchildren, six great grandchildren, and nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Dorlis and Louis Colvin, and one sister, Delores Colvin.

He was a Navy veteran of World War II and was a member of the Iberia VFW Post 6167 and American Legion Post 105. He was a member of Pleasant Hill Christian Church near Iberia where he led Sunday morning worship services for over 25 years.

Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. on Friday, July 4, at Rekus Funeral Home in Iberia.

Funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday at the funeral home. Rev. Stan Way will officiate. Interment with military honors will be in Dick Lawson Cemetery near Iberia.

Memorial contributions are suggested to Dick Lawson Cemetery.

COOPER

Robert J. Cooper, age 71, of Eldon, MO, died Tuesday, July 1, 2003.

He was born November 27, 1931 to Robert E. and Sarah (McGinnis) Cooper of Versailles, MO. He was married August 31, 1955 to Mary (Wood) Cooper in Morgan County, Missouri.

He is survived by his wife: Mary Cooper of the home and many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., Thursday, July 3, 2003, at the Phillips Funeral Home, Eldon, MO.

Funeral services will be Friday, July 4, 2003 at the Phillips Funeral Home with Brother Donny Leap and Brother John W. Martin officiating. Interment will follow in the Tol Wood Cemetery, Eldon, MO.

Memorials are suggested to Community Hospice.

HATFIELD

Jenny Hatfield, 41, of Eldon, MO, died June 30, 2003.

She was born August 27, 1961 to Arvin Dean Catron and Catherine (Beal) Catron in Iberia, MO.

She is survived by Dan Monfort of the home; her mother, of Doraville, Georgia; 6 brothers, Ronald Catron, Danny Catron, and Chester Catron of Doraville, Georgia, Earnest Catron of Newport Richey, Florida, Billy Catron of Osage Beach, Missouri, and Raymond Catron of Buford, Georgia. She was preceded in death by her father and one sister, Violet Richter.

Graveside services will be 10:00 a.m. Saturday, July 5, 2003 at the Iberia Cemetery under the direction of Phillips Funeral Home in Eldon.

HOWARD

Lora Mae Howard, 80, of Chamois, died Tuesday, July 1, 2003, at St. Mary's Health Center.

She was born September 12, 1922, in Osage County, a daughter of Boyd and Hilda A. Witthaus Cramer. She was married June 8, 1940, in Linn to Billy Sunday Howard, who survives.

She worked in the garment factory in Chamois and in Pleasant Hill. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Chamois and the Order of Eastern Star.

She is also survived by two sons: Dale Howard and wife Rosalind of Huntsville, Alabama and Roger Howard of Culver City, California; one sister: Virginia Ocheskey of Slater, Iowa; two grandchildren: Marisa Herbert of Baton Rouge,  Louisiana; Jeffrey Howard of Haifa, Israel; and three great grandchildren: Jamie, Sarah, and Madeline. She was preceded in death by her parents, Boyd Cramer and Hilda Cramer Keisker; one half brother, Arvil Keisker, and two half sisters: JoAnn Howie and Jeanette Keisker.

Friends will be received from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. Friday, July 4, 2003 at the First Baptist Church in Chamois.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, July 4, 2003 at the First Baptist Church in Chamois with Rev. Larry Hendrickson officiating. Interment will follow in the Good Hope Cemetery in Morrison.

Expressions of sympathy may be made to the American Heart Association. Arrangements are under the direction of Meyer-Hilke-Millard Funeral Home, Chamois, Missouri. (573)763-5658.

KROEGER

Leroy Kroeger, 73, Eldon, MO, died Wednesday, July 2, 2003 in  Jefferson City, MO.

He was born April 9, 1930 in Brazito, MO, the son of Jerry and Pearl (Bainer) Kroeger.

He worked as a mechanic his entire life. He was employed with Chrysler dealership in Las Vegas for ten years. He owned and operated Kroeger Garage in Eldon, MO for many years. He was a lifetime member of V.F.W., also a member of the Fox Hunter's Association. He was an avid hunter and fisherman.

Survivors include: one stepson, Charles Keller, state of Georgia; two sisters, Ada Graham and Correne Miller, both of Eldon, MO; special friend, Lillian Wheeler, Olean, MO; several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by one brother, Denver Kroeger.

Visitation will be Friday, 6:00-8:00 p.m. at the Phillips Funeral Home in Eldon, MO.

Funeral service will at 10:00 a.m., Saturday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Johnston Cemetery,  Jefferson City, MO.

Memorials suggested to the American Diabetes Association or Johnston Cemetery.

KRULL

Clarence Edward Krull, 64, of Dixon, MO, died July 1, 2003, in the St. John's Regional Health Center, Springfield.

He was born December 8, 1938 in St. Louis, a son of Edward Frank and Lena Lamb Krull.

Survivors include: his mother, Lena Goodman; one son, Jeffrey Krull; one daughter, Jeanie Risse; one brother, Milton Krull; one sister, Mary Krull; 3 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m., Friday in the Long-Gilbert Funeral Home, Dixon, MO with Bro. Gary Day officiating. Interment will be in the Fairview Cemetery.

Visitation will be 6:00-8:00 p.m., Thursday and 9:00-10:00 a.m., Friday in the funeral home with Masonic services at 7:00 p.m., Thursday, also in the funeral home.
