Funeral services were Monday at First Assembly of God Church. Burial was at Portageville cemetery. Rev. Eugune Poole officiated. Delisle Funeral Home had charge.

August 28, 1957, to Nannie Mae Hollingsworth Johnson and Osker "Bud" Johnson, was employed at Associated Electric Power Plant in Marston, Mo.
Survivors include his wife Cheryl Johnson of Hayword, Mo.; one son James Thomas Johnson of Wardell, Mo.; one daughter Terri Sue Johnson of Hayward, Mo.; his mother Nannie Johnson of Hayward; his father Bud Johnson of Hayward, Mo.; his grandmother Jewell Johnson of Hayward, Mo.; one brother Tim Johnson of Hot Springs, Ark.; two sisters, Tammy Black and Toni Johnson, both of Portageville, Mo. and two grandchildren.
Jones, Alexis Ann Michelle
Alexis Ann Michelle Jones, 6 months, of Sardis, died Saturday at her home in Sardis of heart failure.
Graveside services are today at 11 a.m. at St. Peters cemetery in Sardis. Visitation is today from 10 a.m. until service time. Burial is at St. Peters cemetery. Wells Funeral Home has charge.

Survivors include her parents, Jennifer Michelle McCarver and Melvin Jones, both of Sardis; one brother Tyler Dewayne Jones of Sardis; two step-sisters Shannon Harris and Sharron Harris, both of Sardis; one step-brother Myron "Billy" Harris of Sardis; maternal grandparents, Lannie and Patricia McCarver, both of Batesville; paternal grandparents, Spencer and Agnes Jones, both of Sardis and her great-grandmother Jessie Card of Cleveland.

to the late Lawrence Algie and the late Martha Magee Jones, was a retired hairdresser beautician, a member of Wells Station Baptist Church and former owner of Dot's Beauty Salon.
Survivors include her husband Joe Finis Jones of Como; one son Bobby Joe Jones of Las Vegas, Nev.; one sister Charlotte Mason of Mustang, Okla.; two grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Dorothy Oliver Jones, 41, of Sardis, died Monday, September 8, 2003, at Tri-Lakes Medical Center.
Services were Sunday at Miles Chapel C.M.E. Church in Sardis. Burial was at Rose Hill cemetery. Rev. T.J. Isom officiated. Cooley's Mortuary had charge.

Oct. 14, 1961, to the late Nolan Oliver and Ida Oliver, was disabled and a member of Miles Chapel C.M.E. Church.
Survivors include his mother Ida Oliver of Sardis; two sisters, Betty McKinney and Mary Walls, both of Sardis; one son Antiono Oliver of Sardis; two brothers, James Oliver of Sardis and Fred Oliver of Muskegon, Mich. and two grandchildren.
Jones, Fred
Fred Jones, 69, of Perris, Calif., died Wednesday, Dec. 4, 2002, at Riverside Community Hospital of cancer.
Services were Tuesday, Dec. 10, at Riverside National cemetery.
Hemet Valley Mortuary had charge.
Jones, son of the late Eugene and Lillian Coggins Jones, was born
Aug. 14, 1933, in Marks. He had worked for the Riverside Unified School District for 23 years until he retired in 1990 as a Maintenance Supervisor. Jones served in the United States Air Force from 1952 to 1956. He was a member of the Church of Christ in Riverside.
Survivors include a daughter, Deborah Doxanne Jones, and two grandsons, Michael Jones of Hemet, Calif. and David Boswell of Riverside, Calif.; his fiancée, Dorothy Wilson of Riverside, Calif.; six sisters, Ruby Bolen, Margie Pearson, and Patricia Mettetal all of Batesville, Ellen Van Hoozer of Marks, Faye Bass of Southaven, and Mary Ruth Rice of Byhalia.
Jones, Ida Bell Douglas
Ida Bell Douglas Jones, 76, of Charleston, died Thursday, Jan. 2, 2003 at her home.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, Jan. 7, at 2 p.m. at Newsom Funeral Home. Interment will be in Oakgrove cemetery in Charleston. Newsom Funeral Home has charge of arrangements.

She was preceded in death by her husband James H. Jones, her son Douglas McClure Jones, and her sister Mary Helen Townsend.

John Edward Jones, 53, of Petersburg, Va. died Nov. 12, 2003.
Services were held Thurs., Nov. 20, at Felix Cauthen Funeral Home and burial was at the Liberty Hill cemetery in Como.
Survivors include his wife, Yvette George Jones of Petersburg, Va.; one daughter, Shana Lewis of Houston, Texas; one stepdaughter, Anya Hildreth of Richmond, Va.; two sons Donney Jones of Dallas, Texas and Travis Jones of Pasedena, Calif.; one stepson, Jonathan Hildreth of Charlotte, N.C.; two sisters and four brothers.

Funeral services were Monday at the Church of Christ in Sardis. Burial is today at Evergreen Memorial cemetery in Hobart, Ind. Bro. Samuel Curry officiated. Cooley's Mortuary has charge.

Survivors include two daughters, Caroline Banks of Sardis and Cynthia Jones of Memphis; two sons, Perry Jones and Manuel Jones, both of Minneapolis, Minn; nine grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.

Quinton D. Jones, 15, of Sardis, died Wednesday, April 30, 2003, at Tri-Lakes Medical Center. He died after collapsing during a physical education class at school.
Services were Wednesday at Cistern Hill M.B. Church. Burial was at Rose Hill cemetery. Rev. Cedric Richardson officiated. Henderson Funeral Home had charge.

Joslin, Reverend John Douglas
Reverend John Douglas Joslin, 87, of New Albany, died Tuesday, September 9, 2003, at his residence.
Services were Thursday at Glendale Baptist Church. Burial was at Glendale Baptist Church cemetery. Rev. Harris Counce and Rev. Grady Goodman officiated. McPeters Funeral Directors had charge.

April 1, 1916, to the late J.T. and Nellie Joslin, pastored churches in North and Central Mississippi for fifty years.
Survivors include his wife Maybelle Joslin of New Albany; five sons, Wendell Joslin of New Albany, Joe Joslin of De Ridder, La., Jack Joslin of Nesbit, Frank Joslin of Pace, Fla. and Terry Joslin of New Albany; one daughter Beth Hajeh of New Albany and 10 grandchildren.

Judson, Fredine J.
Fredine J. Judson, 77, of Water Valley, died Tuesday, February 24, 2003, at North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo of natural causes.
Services will be Saturday, at 1 p.m. at Everdale M.B. Church in Water Valley with interment at Oakridge cemetery in Water Valley. Rev. Donerell Judson will officiate. Water Valley Funeral Home has charge.
Judson, born
March 5, 1925, to the late Dora Oliver Fleming and the late L.C. Thomas, was a member of Everdale M.B. Church, and was a factory worker for Big Yank in Water Valley. She was the president of the NAACP for this district.
Survivors include two brothers, Robert L. Fleming of Water Valley, Leon Fleming of Louisville, Ky.; six sons, Willie Earl Judson of Rockford, Ill., James Judson, Courtney Judson, and Eric Judson all of Water Valley, Johnny Judson of Columbus and Donerell Judson of Gainesville, Va; five daughters, Margaret Roberts of Detroit, Mich., Mary L. Judson, Sandra Jones, Sheila Turner, and Tracy Turner all of Water Valley; 21 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by one sister Lucille Fleming Carothers.
