William T. Roberts, 76, of Biloxi, died Saturday, May 6, 2008 in Biloxi.
Graveside services were Monday, May 15, in the Biloxi National cemetery.
Bradford O’Keefe Funeral Home in Biloxi was in charge of arrangements.
A retiree of the U.S. Air Force, he was a longtime resident of the coast and a Baptist by faith.
Survivors include his wife, Doris Roberts, Biloxi; four daughters, Vivian Walker, Humble, TX, Cheryl Eilen, Indialandtic, FL, Sandra Hennes and Kelly Richardson, both of Houston, TX; one sister, Joan Gauthier, Carrier; and six grandchildren.

Winnie Geneva Chamblee
Mrs. Winnie Geneva Chamblee, 69, of Walnut Grove, died Saturday, May 6, 2008 at St. Dominic Jackson Memorial Hospital inJackson.
Services were at 2 p.m. Monday, May 8, at Ott & Lee Funeral Home Chapel in Forest with burial in the Lindsey cemetery.
Rev. Grady Sims and Rev. Mark Mayo officiated.
A livelong resident of Leake County, she was a member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church.
Survivors include her son, Ricky Chamblee, Walnut Grove; one sister, Sherry Langley, Lena; one brother, Lavon Donald, Sunrise; and one grandson.
Pallbearers were Adam Lewis, Todd Alderman, Vincent Waller, Daniel Jones, Paul Busby and J.W. Harrell.
Honorary pallbearers were David Dumas, James Stewart and Jon Brooks.

Nathan Edward Mizell
Nathan Edward Mizell, 94, of Carthage, died Tuesday, May 9, 2008 at St. Dominic-Jackson Memorial Hospital.
Services were at 11 a.m. Thursday, May 11, at Pearl Hill Baptist Church with Elder Hilton Moore and Bro. David Cook officiating.
Burial was in the church cemetery with Wilcox Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
A native of Leake County, he was a member of Mt. Olive Primitive Baptist Church and a retired farmer.
Survivors include two sons, Nathan Mizell, Jr. and Tilman Mizell, both of Carthage; three daughters, Marie Coward, Pearl, Betty Mizell Sumrall, Madison, and Eddie Deloris Mizell King, Walnut Grove; 21 grandchildren; and a host of great- and great-great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Gerald Coward, Johnathan Sumrall, Stanley Mizell, Stevie Mizell, Stephen Mizell and Greg Mizell.

Paul C. Terry
Paul C. Terry, 74, of Thomastown, died Friday, May 12, 2008 at his residence.
Graveside services were at 4 p.m. Monday, May 15, at Wake Forest cemetery in Thomastown with Rev. Larry Saxton, Jr. officiating.
Jordan Funeral Home in Kosciusko was in charge of arrangements.
He was a salesman for a heating and air-conditioning supply house, a member and deacon of Camden Baptist Church, a member of the Jaycees and Masons of Jackson.
He also served on the advisory board of Mississippi Delta Junior College’s Vocational Heating and Air-Conditioning department.
Survivors include his wife, Sally A. Terry, Thomastown; one daughter, Kay Lynn Terry, Greenville; two sons, William Paul Terry, Byram, and Thomas Michael Terry, Nashville, Tenn.; two grandchildren; and one sister, Juanita Brandon, Thomastown; and one brother, H.W. Terry, McAllen, Tex.
Active pallbearers were members of the Thomastown Volunteer Fire Department.
Honorary pallbearers were George Davis, David Shelley, Bob Summerlin, Shairod Robinson, Roy Young and Robert Beckwith.

Mildred L. Fitzhugh
Mildred L. Fitzhugh, 68, of Lena, died Tuesday, July 10, 2007 at St. Dominic Hospital in Jackson.
Services were at 11 a.m. Friday, July 13, at Ott and Lee Funeral Home Chapel in Morton with Rev. Robin Nichols officiating.
Burial was in Ludlow cemetery.
A homemaker and factory worker, she was a member of Ludlow Baptist Church where she served as secretary for 45 years.
Survivors include her husband, Claude O. Fitzhugh, Lena; a daughter, Kendra F. Watkins, Lena; two sisters, Barbara Register, Upatoi, Ga., and Jo Howard, Good Hope; and three grandchildren.

Margaret Elaine Coleman
Margaret Elaine Coleman, 39, of Kosciusko, died Sunday, July 15, 2007 at Mississippi Baptist Medical Center in Jackson.
Services were at 3 p.m. Tuesday at Jordan Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Danny Townsend officiating.
Burial was in Pine Grove cemetery near Edinburg.
A member of Kosciusko Second Baptist Church, she was employed as a cashier at Royce’s Quick Foods and Deli.
Survivors include her husband, Scottie Coleman; a daughter, Isabella Coleman; and a son, Jeffery Coleman, all of Kosciusko; mother, Charlotte Carroll; three sisters, Toni Davis and Glenda Terry, both of Kosciusko, and Lynn Smith, Carthage; and two brothers, Eddie Carroll and Robert Carroll, both of Kosciusko.Active pallbearers were Stacy Davis, Matt Crittington, HenryBrantley, John Lindsey, Kevin Hornne and Robin Newby.
Honorary pallbearers were Ricky Pee, Royce Pee and Jimbo Hudson.

Clarice Hancock Erwin
Clarice Hancock Erwin, 70, of Philadelphia, died Thursday, July 12, 2007 at Mississippi Baptist Medical Center in Jackson.
Services were at 10 a.m. Saturday from the chapel of McClain-Hays Funeral Home in Philadelphia with Rev. David Richardson officiating.
Burial was in Longino cemetery.
A native of the Longino community in Neshoba County, shewas a longtime resident of the Lena area in Leake County, and later in the Jackson area.
She was a retired nurses aide from Sta-Home Health Care in Carthage.
She was a member of Longino Baptist Church.
Survivors include a daughter, Pam Ansley, Pearl; a son, Greg Harrison, Crystal Springs; three granddaughters; one great-granddaughter; and two sisters, Eva Martin and Helen Barrier, both of Philadelphia.
Pallbearers were Joe Fulton, Allan Ishee, Mitchell Barrier, Chris Stokes, Doyle Hancock, Ricky Martin, Glen Hancock and Steven Hancock.

Emmett Ray Hollis
Emmett Ray Hollis, 50, of Sheridan, AR, died Friday, July 13 2007.
Graveside services were at 4 p.m. Monday at Remus Baptist Church cemetery with Bro. Ricky Wilcher officiating.
Wilcox Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
A native of Phoenix, AZ, he was a freezer installer for BW Installations.
Survivors include his wife, Lori Hollis, Sheridan, AR.; a son, Michael Ray Hollis, Sebastopol; a daughter, Cinda Gaye Bradford, Kosciusko; a brother, Ronnie Hollis, Devalls Bluff, AR; three sisters, Rachel Diane Hollis, Carthage, Debbie Shelton, Devalls Bluff, AR, and Donna Beckham, Walnut Grove; and five grandchildren.

Thomas Dwight Rushing
Thomas Dwight Rushing, 63, of Philadelphia, died Thursday, July 12, 2007 at J.G. Alexander Nursing Center in Union.
Services were at 2 p.m. Sunday at John E. Stephens Chapel Funeral Services with Dr. Wayne Hill, Rev. Duaine Morgan and Rev. Bob Cooper officiating.
Burial was at Mt. Pisgah cemetery in Philadelphia.
A member of Trinity Baptist Church, he had worked for Philadelphia Police Department, had repaired appliances and worked at Breland Building Supply for 35 years.
Survivors include his wife, Dorothy Rushing; a daughter, Lynn Barlow; a son, T.J. Rushing; two brothers, Richard Rushing and Charley Rushing, all of Philadelphia; and two grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Kevin Breland, Steve Breland, Andy Breland, Scott Bounds, Steve Dansby and Deric Horne.
Memorials may be sent to American Diabetes Association or St. Jude’s Hospital.

Rev. George Carmeans
Rev. George Carmeans, 80, a Pentecostal minister, of Pine Bluff, AR, died Friday, July 13, 2007 at his home.
Graveside services were at 2 p.m. Monday at Pine Grove Pentecostal Church cemetery with Rev. Richard Forsythe, Rev. Royce Earl Odom and Rev. Mark Copeland officiating.
Wilcox Funeral Home was in charge of local arrangements.
A native of McAdams, he served in the United States Army during World War II, and pastored churches in Arkansas, Louisiana and Mississippi.
Survivors include his wife, Elma Jean Bounds Carmeans, Pine Bluff, AR; three sons, Rev. George Marlon Carmeans, Pascagoula, Alan Neal Carmeans, Star City, AR and Stacey Lanphere Carmeans, Little Rock, AR; one daughter, Angelia Rejean Carmeans Jones, Lucedale; one brother, Charles Carmeans, Laredo, TX; four sisters, Marjorie Carmeans-Ashworth, St. Petersburg, FL, Mildred Carmeans and Myrtis Flemings, Glen Allan, and Shirley Ford, Jackson; seven grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Marlon Carmeans, Alan Carmeans, Stacey Carmeans, Randall Carmeans, Ty Carmeans and Billy Jones.
