Samuel J. Scafidi, born icon March 30, 1925, died on Tuesday, Sept. 6, 2011, at his Bay St. Louis home, with family by his side.
Services will be held at Our Lady of the Gulf Catholic Church on Friday, Sept. 9, 2011 from 10 a.m.-noon, with Mass immediately following.

Glen F. Dastugue
Glen F. Dastugue, a born icon again Christian, passed away Friday September 16, 2011.
Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, September 21, 2011, at 1:30 p.m. at Riemann Family Funeral Home, 274 Beauvoir Road in Biloxi, where friends may visit thirty minutes prior to the service. Interment will follow at Biloxi National cemetery with military honors.

Gerard Gelpi
Gerard Trower Gelpi passed away at home on Friday, September 16, 2011.
The visitation will be on Friday, September 23, 2011 from 11:00 am until 1:00 pm at Edmond Fahey Funeral Home in Bay St. Louis, MS. The procession will leave the Funeral Home at 1:00 pm for a Mass of Christian Burial at 1:30 pm at Our Lady of the Gulf Catholic Church in Bay St. Louis, MS.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson's Research, www.michaeljfox.org, are appreciated.
Edmond Fahey Funeral Home in Bay St. Louis, MS is in charge of the arrangements.

Rebecca Johnson
Funeral Services for Rebecca Kellar Johnson, age 61 of Picayune, MS who passed away Thursday, September 15, 2011 in Picayune, MS will be held Thursday, September 22, 2011, at 3 p.m. at Flattop Unity Baptist Church. Visitation will be Thursday, September 22 from 1-3 p.m. at Flattop Unity Baptist Church.
Burial will be in Turtleskin cemetery under the direction of McDonald Funeral Home. Rev. Randy Shaw will officiate at the service.

Brandi Malley
Brandi Francis Malley, age 34 and a resident of Kiln, died on Friday, September 16, 2011, in Kiln.
Funeral services were held on Monday, September 19, 2011, at 11:00 a.m. at Faith Assembly of God, 18701 Highway 43 in Kiln. Friends visited one hour prior to the service.
Riemann Family Funeral Home, 9113 Kiln Delisle Road in Pass Christian, assisted the family with funeral arrangements.

Robert “Bobby” L. Camors, Sr.
A Mass of Christian Burial for Mrs. Robert “Bobby” L. Camors, Sr., the former Lorraine Bourgeois, age 89, will be held on Saturday September 17, 2011 at 12:00pm at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church with Fr. Jody Simoneaux officiating.
Interment will follow in St. John the Evangelist Mausoleum. Visitation will begin Friday September 16, 2011 at 6:00pm until 8:00pm with recitation of the rosary at 7:30pm. Visitation will resume Saturday September 17, 2011 from 9:30am until service time.
A native and resident of Jeanerette; Mrs. Camors passed away peacefully at her residence Thursday September 15, 2011 at 7:10am.

Robert L. Cervi
PERKINSTON - Mr. Robert L. Cervi, age 63 passed away Wednesday, April 26, 2006 at Wesley Medical Center in Hattiesburg. He was a mechanical designer for roofing industry and a member of St. John’s Episcopal Church in Ocean Springs, MS. He is preceded in death by his father, Louis A. Cervi.
He is survived by wife, Dolores Cervi of Perkinston; two daughters, Tamara Cervi of Virginia Beach, VA and Rebecca Harris and husband Erick of Parker, CO; two sons, Robert Cervi, Jr. and wife Carolann of Chesapeake, VA and Jason Cervi and wife Jamie of Biloxi, MS; six grandchildren; mother, Marie Cervi of Ocean Springs and a sister, Barbara McKenzie of Ocean Springs.
A memorial service was held Saturday, April 29, 2006 at 39 Rester Loop in Perkinston.
Moore Funeral Home of Wiggins was in charge of arrangements.

Nicholas Ryan Cooley
BROOKLYN - Nicholas “Nick” Ryan Cooley, age 20 passed away Saturday, April 29, 2006 resulting from a motorcycle accident. He was a member of Trueway Baptist Church in Brooklyn. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Hoy Alton and Viola West Simmons of Wiggins and one uncle, Darrell Simmons.
He is survived by his father and mother, B J and Deana Cooley of Brooklyn; two brothers, Cory Alan Cooley of Brooklyn and Bobby Tyler Cooley of Purvis; paternal grandparents, Bobby Joe and Elsie Cooley of Wiggins and a number of aunts, uncles and cousins.
Funeral services were held Monday, May 1, 2006 at Trueway Baptist Church with interment that followed at Trueway cemetery.
Moore Funeral Home of Wiggins was in charge of arrangements.

Lilian Lister Johnson
WIGGINS - Lilian Lister Johnson, age 65 passed away Sunday, April 30, 2006 at Memorial Hospital of Gulfport after a determined struggle with cancer. She was born icon in Manchester, England, but as a career military wife was very proud of becoming a U.S. Citizen. She was a longtime resident of Gulfport before moving to Wiggins. She was a realtor on the Gulf Coast for 20 years.
Mrs. Johnson was preceded in death by her parents, Robert Edward and Jesse Doyle Lister of Manchester, England.
She is survived by her husband, Wayne Leroy Johnson of Wiggins; three sons Gary Michael Johnson his fiancée, Amanda Fitzwilliams of Fort Walton Beach, FL, Robert Anthony Johnson of Oakwood, GA, Michael Leroy Johnson his wife, Vicki Johnson of Wiggins, MS; a sister Ivy Montilla and her husband, Greg of Gulfport, MS; six grandchildren Justin, Christina, Zachary, Joshua, Alexis, Nicholas and two great-grandchildren, Jasmine and Justin; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be the evening of Tuesday, May 2, 2006, from 5-8 PM, at the Bradford-O’Keefe Funeral Home, O’Neal Road, Gulfport. On Wednesday, May 3, 2006, from 10-10:30 AM friends may visit the family at the Funeral Home and interment will follow at 11 AM at the Biloxi National cemetery with a graveside service.

Clifton Harold Piazza
Clifton Harold Piazza, 87, of Bay St. Louis, MS passed away on Tuesday, September 13, 2011 in Bay St. Louis, MS.
The visitation will be Saturday, September 17, 2011 from 10:00 am until 1:00 pm at Edmond Fahey Funeral Home in Bay St. Louis, MS with a Prayer Service at 1:00 pm. Intombment will follow in St. Mary cemetery in Bay St. Louis, MS.
The family would like to thank Dr. Pam Tuli & her Staff & Hospice for their kindness & care to Mr. Piazza & his family.

Mrs. Hazel Mills Tracey passed away September 14, 2011 in Newnan, Georgia.
An interment service will be in Waveland, Mississippi. McKoon Funeral Home.

Lucious Orease Ladnier
SILVER-RUN - Lucious Orease Ladnier, age 73 passed away Tuesday, May 2, 2006 after having fought a hard battle with Silicois (commonly known as Black Lung). Mr. Ladnier was born icon August 6, 1932 in the Silver Run Community, he grew up there, attended Perkinston Junior College; entered the Army and served in Korea at the end of the Korean Conflict. He returned to Silver Run in the 1970’s and never strayed far from Stone County since. In 1984 he built a building for wife Maudie which became the Silver Run Community Grocery. After that, as long as his health allowed, he raised his Beefmaster cows and “played store, ” where he became a “grandpa” to lots of the little one. He is preceded in death by his parents, Leo and Frances Ladnier.
He is survived by his wife Maudie, two brothers, Bill and Doyle Ladnier of Silver Run Community; children, Keith Ladnier of Ellisville, Larry Ladnier of Hattiesburg and Lenora Ladnier of Gulfport; step-sons, Chester and Eddie Rhodes of Texas; grandchildren, Eli Johnson, Tyler Ladnier, Tim Cayce, Ryan and Kimberly Rhodes; lots of brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Funeral services were held Saturday, May 6, 2006 at Silver Run Baptist Church with interment that followed at Ladnier cemetery.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Silver Run Volunteer Fire Department.
Moore Funeral Home of Wiggins was in charge of arrangements.

Frances Carmon King
WIGGINS - Mrs. Frances Carmon King, age 97 passed away Saturday, May 6, 2006 at Azalea Gardens Nursing Center in Wiggins. Mrs. King was a member of First Baptist Church of Wiggins and a retired nurses aide.
She is survived by one daughter, Katie Dale of Wiggins; one son, Gilbert King of Georgia; nine grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; two great great grandchildren; two sisters, Jewel McDaniels of Long Beach, and Alma Fowler of Arlington, TX; and one brother, L.T. Kemp of Gunniston, MS.
Funeral services were held Monday, May 8, 2006 at Moore Funeral Home Chapel with interment that followed at Morriston Jesus Name Church cemetery in Petal, MS.
Moore Funeral Home of Wiggins was in charge of arrangements.

Velma Ruth W. Stillwell
BOND - Mrs. Velma Ruth W. Stillwell, age 83 passed away Saturday, May 6, 2006 at Oxford House in Lumberton, MS. Mrs. Stillwell was self employed a care giver.
She is survived by two sons, Eddie Dale Thomas of Wiggins and Richard Wayne Thomas of Picayune; four grandchildren, Kim Reynolds, Glen Sullivan, Stephanie Wheeler and Sherry Lynn Spillars; nine great grandchildren, David, Joey, Hope, J.R., Ashley, Brian, Buddy, Scott and Torsha; and two great great grandchildren.
A memorial service was held Monday, May 8, 2006 at North Hills Baptist Church.
Moore Funeral Home of Wiggins was in charge of arrangements.

Barbara Conner
HATTIESBURG - Mrs. Barbara Conner, age 79 passed away Saturday, April 29, 2006 at Wesley Medical Center in Hattiesburg. Mrs. Conner was a member of Greater Antioch Missionary Baptist Church.
She is survived by three sons, George Conner, Jr of New Jersey, Johnnie Barnett of Columbia, S.C. and Reverend Michael Conner of Hattiesburg; six daughters, Barbara Elaine Jones, Beverly McIntyre, Jackie Eashmond, Sonia Barlow all of Hattiesburg, Naomi Webber and Marita Ann Edwards both of Atlanta, GA; a sister, Clara Cooper of Hattiesburg; 20 grandchildren and 28 great grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Saturday, May 6, 2006 at Greater Antioch Missionary Baptist Church with interment that followed at Pineview cemetery.
Owens-Ramey Funeral Services of Wiggins was in charge of arrangements.
