Huey L. Hearty, Sr. was born icon on January 21, 1930 in New Orleans, LA. He was a resident of Bay St. Louis and worked as an engineer. He departed his life September 9, 2011 at the age of 81.
Services will be private.

Tristan Sharkey
Tristan Nicole Sharkey, age 17, passed away Thursday, September 22, 2011.
Visitation will be from 5 to 9 p.m., Saturday, Sept. 24, at RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 9113 Kiln DeLisle Rd., Pass Christian. Services will be at 2 p.m., Sunday in the funeral home chapel with burial to follow at Standard Sandhill cemetery.

Humphrey Ferrell
Humphrey Lee Ferrell, 86, of Waveland, MS passed away on Wednesday, October 5, 2011 in Biloxi, MS.
The visitation was Friday, October 7, 2011 at Edmond Fahey Funeral Home in Bay St. Louis, MS. The Prayer Service will be Saturday, October 8, 2011 at the Funeral Home at 10:00 am. Interment will follow in Gulf Coast Memorial cemetery & Mausoleum in Bay St. Louis.
In Lieu of flowers, the family request donations to South MS Regional Center, Attn: Wanda Phillips, 1170 West Railroad St, Long Beach, MS 39560.

Marian Kergosien passed away Monday, October 3, 2011 at home in Bay Saint Louis, Ms.
Services were held Thursday, October, 6, 2011 at Saint Rose de Lima Catholic Church in Bay Saint Louis, MS. A mass of Christian burial was be celebrated by FR. Sebastian Myladiyil. Interment followed in St. Mary cemetery in Bay Saint Louis.

Charles Lozano Jr.
Charles "Carlos" Joseph Lozano, Jr., loving father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, joined the love of his life in heaven on Wednesday, October 5, 2011 in Bay St. Louis, MS.
The visitation will be on Saturday, October 8, 2011 from 11:30 am until 1:00 pm at St. Clare Catholic Church in Waveland, MS. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 1:00 pm. Intombment will be at 4:00 pm at Lake Lawn Park cemetery in New Orleans, LA.
In Lieu of flowers donations can be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital, 332 North Lauderdale, Memphis, TN 38105 or charity of ones choice.

Elizabeth Ann Marcantel 63 of Niceville Florida passed away on September 29th, 2011 due to complications of cancer.
Service will be held at First Assembly of God, 1912 Arnold St. Waveland, Ms. October 15th at 2pm.

W.E. Payne
W.E. Payne, age 75, of Gulfport, passed away on Thursday, October 6, 2011.
Visitation will be Monday, October 10, 2011, from 4 - 6 pm at the Riemann Family Funeral Home, 11280 Three Rivers Road, Gulfport. A memorial service will be held at 6 pm in the funeral home chapel.

Watson Johns
Watson A. Johns, 82, of Waveland, MS passed away on Sunday, October 02, 2011.
Services were held Tuesday at Our Lady of the Gulf Catholic Church. Interment followed at the Garden of Memory cemetery in Bay St. Louis, MS.

Marian Kergosien
Marian W. Kergosien, 87, of Bay St. Louis, MS passed away on Monday, October 3, 2011 in Bay St. Louis, MS.
The visitation will be on Thursday, October 6, 2011 from 10:00 am until 12:00 noon at St. Rose de Lima Catholic Church in Bay St. Louis, MS. A Mass of Christian Burial conducted by Father Sebastian Myladyil will follow at noon. Interment will follow in St. Mary cemetery in Bay St. Louis, MS.

Matthew A. Shiffer
PERKINSTON - Matthew A. Shiffer, age 31 passed away Friday, May 12, 2006 in Wiggins. Mr. Shiffer worked in automotive body repair and was a member of Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.
He is survived by his parents, Steve and Karen Shiffer of Perkinston; two sisters, Stacey Slatten of Long Beach and Sunny Hagendon of Perkinston; three brothers, Steve Shiffer of Leakesville, Jason Shiffer of Vienna, VA and Micah Shiffer of Perkinston.
Graveside services were held Monday May 15, 2006 at Smith/Shiffer cemetery in Perkinston.
Moore Funeral Home in Wiggins was in charge of arrangements.

Manson Peters
Funeral services will be held Saturday, Oct. 8, 2011, at 11 a.m. at Valena C. Jones United Methodist Church for Mr. Manson Peters, age 75, of Waveland, who died Monday, Oct. 3, 2011, at Gulfport Memorial Hospital.
Visitation will be Saturday, Oct. 8, from 10-11 a.m. at the church.

Lavon Donald
WIGGINS - Mr. Lavon Donald, age 82 passed away Thursday, May 25, 2006. Mr. Donald is retired from the Naval Construction Batttalion Center in Gulfport after 34 years of service. He served in the Navy during WWII and retired as an E8 Senior Chief and he attended First Baptist Church in Wiggins. He is survived by a wife, Dorothy Donald of Wiggins; three daughters, Ann Estes of Saucier, Sheila Young of Houston, TX, and Sandra Tate of San Antonio, TX; one sister, Lillian Rainey of Hattiesburg; and five grandchildren. Funeral services were held Tuesday, May 30, 2006 at Moore Funeral Home Chapel with interment that followed at Crossroads cemetery. Moore Funeral Home of Wiggins was in charge of arrangements.

Walter F. Davis, Sr.
PICAYUNE, MS - Mr. Walter Fred Davis, Sr., age 71 passed away Friday, May 26, 2006 in Picayune. Mr. Davis was a carpenter and a member of Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses. He is survived by wife, Lucia A. Davis of Picayune; mother, Bernice C. Davis of Picayune; one son, Fred Davis, Jr. of Picayune; four daughters, Karen Lucia Hinton of Poplarville, Vicky A. Fauquier of Wiggins, Julie B. Marchant of Palmville, CA and Tina N. Lane of Slidell, LA; 13 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren and one sister, Dixie F. Stoddard of Ocean Springs, MS. Memorial services will be held Friday, June 2, 2006, 7pm at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses in Picayune. McDonald Funeral Home of Picayune was in charge of arrangements.

Myrtle M. Watts
WIGGINS - Mrs. Myrtle M. Watts, age 86 passed away Sunday, May 28, 2006 at Forrest General Hospital in Hattiesburg. Mrs. Watts was a homemaker and a member of First Baptist Church in Wiggins. She was past Worthy Matron OES Miriam Chapter #67. She is preceded in death by her husband, Warren P. Watts. She is survived by one daughter and son-in-law, Warrene and Dwain Brewer of Wiggins; one son and daughter-in-law, Vic and Ann Watts of Wiggins; four grandchildren, Lane and Susan Brewer of Wiggins, Leigh and Nathan Nix of Madison, MS and Mollie and Annie Watts of Wiggins; two great grandchildren, Braeden Brewer and Nataleigh Nix; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, May 31, 2006, 11am at Moore Funeral Home Chapel in Wiggins with interment to follow at Woodlawn cemetery in Wiggins. Moore Funeral Home of Wiggins was in charge of arrangements.

Domenico Dana Irias Saucier, infant son of Nastassia Irias and Dana Saucier died on Friday, September 30, 2011 in Bay St. Louis, MS.
The visitation will be on Wednesday, October 5, 2011 from 10:00 am until 11:00 am at St. Rose de Lima Catholic Church in Bay St. Louis, MS with a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 am. Interment will follow in St. Mary cemetery.

Opal Christina Carr, 87, of Hancock County, MS passed away on October 30, 2011 in Diamondhead, MS.
The visitation will be on Friday, November 4, 2011 from 10:00 am until 12:00 noon at Edmond Fahey Funeral Home in Bay St. Louis, MS with the Prayer Service at noon. Interment will follow in Lakeshore cemetery in Lakeshore, MS. Edmond Fahey Funeral Home in Bay St. Louis, MS is in charge of the arrangements.

Earlyne Dedeaux
Earlyne Dedeaux, age 75, of the Dedeaux community, passed away on October 30, 2011 in Gulfport.
A visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 2, 2011 from 5 p.m. until 10 p.m. with a Recitation of the Rosary at 8 p.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Dedeaux.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, November 3, 2011 at 11 a.m with a visitation from 10 a.m until 11 a.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Dedeaux. Burial will follow at Alphonse Malley cemetery.

Doris B. Fowlkes
BRISTOL, Va. - Doris B. Fowlkes of Bristol, Va. died Sun., June 7, 2009 at Wellmont Hospice House after a brief illness.
She was a native of Ouachita Parish, La., and valedictorian of her graduating class at Calhoun LA High School. She later graduated from one of the two-year colleges in the LSU system. After graduation from college, she worked for her uncle in the sawmill business. Soon thereafter, she married icon Hal Fowlkes and the two lived in St. Louis, MO, Dallas, TX and New Orleans, LA before settling in Wiggins where they made their home until Hal's death in 1968. They were co-owners and partners in a farm equipment and home appliance business as well as a pecan farm and timber operation.
Mrs. Fowlkes moved to Bristol in 1991 and immediately became an active volunteer in numerous organizations in the region, including Respite Care at Central Presbyterian Church, Sullins Academy, and the Friends of Washington County VA Library. In 1994, she was named Volunteer of the Year by the Sullins Parent-Student Association for her work as a teacher's aide for Linda Riley's third grade class. Her volunteer efforts continued well into the 86th year of her life.
She was a member of Central Presbyterian Church and in 2005 had the distinction of being the only member of the congregation to have perfect attendance. Throughout her life, she was an avid reader, splendid conversationalist, experienced international traveler, and exceptional cook, specializing in Deep South cuisine.
She was predeceased by her beloved Hal and is survived by three sons: Tem Fowlkes of Biloxi, Tom Fowlkes of Bristol, and Dana Fowlkes of Chapel Hill, NC; daughters-in-law, Susan Lord, Donna Fowlkes, Rachel Fowlkes and Sharon Myers; grandchildren, Merrill Hoopengardner, John Fowlkes, Jenni Sullivan, Jill Fowlkes, Allison Fowlkes, and Joy Fowlkes; and five great grandchildren including her newest, Ella Hoopengardner.
Her husband, three sons, grandson and one grandson-in-law are all Eagle Scouts.
Her life was richly blessed by long-time devoted caregivers Robin Chapman and Sheila Reynolds. She also developed a long and lasting friendship with neighbors and friends from Pebble Creek Property Owners Association, Grand Court of Bristol, and Central Presbyterian Church.
The family of Doris Fowlkes will receive friends at Central Presbyterian Church in Bristol on Sat., June 13 at 2 p.m. followed by a memorial service in the sanctuary of the church at 4 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials to Central Presbyterian Church, 301 Euclid Avenue, Bristol, VA 24201; BSA Troop 222, c/o Abingdon United Methodist Church, 101 East Main Street, Abingdon, VA 24210; or the Stone County MS Education Foundation, PO Box 670, Wiggins, MS 39577.
Farris Funeral Service, 427 East Main Street, Abingdon, VA 24210 (276-623-2700) is assisting the family of Doris Fowlkes.
