Visitation will be Thursday, December 1, 2011 from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm and a Rosary at 7:00 pm at Edmond Fahey Funeral Home in Bay St. Louis, MS. A Prayer Service will be held on Friday, December 2, 2011 at 10:00 am at the funeral home. Interment will be at Bayou Caddy cemetery.

Walter Hubbard Sr
Walter L. Hubbard Sr. "Bobby", a retired towboat Captain, died on Saturday, November 26, 2011, of liver failure.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Thursday, December 1, 2011, at 3 p.m. at Riemann Family Funeral Home, 9113 Kiln DeLisle Road in Pass Christian, where family and friends may visit two hours prior to the service.

Rudolph Labat
Rudolph Henry Labat, 81, was born icon July 14, 1930 and departed this life on November 23, 2011.
A celebration of life services will be held on Saturday December 3, 2011 a St. Rose de Lima Catholic Church, 301 Necaise Avenue in Bay St. Louis, MS. Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. with a mass of Christian burial beginning a 12:00 p.m. Interment will be at Saint Mary's cemetery in Bay Saint Louis, MS. Hartwell Christian Mortuary of Gulfport, MS is in charge of arrangements.

Mary Alice Monti
Mary Alice Monti passed away peacefully on Sunday, Nov. 27, 2011, to be with the love of her life, Gene Monti.
Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the funeral service at Our Lady of the Gulf on Wed., Nov. 30, 2011, from 11:00 A.M. to 12:00 P.M. Mass of Christian Burial is 12:00. Interment is at St. Mary's cemetery.
In lieu of flowers the family request Masses.

Lawrence Peterson Jr.
Lawrence J."Larry" Peterson, Jr., 49 of Bay St. Louis, MS passed away on Monday, November 28, 2011 in Bay St. Louis, MS.

Nettie Mae Lyons
PERKINSTON - Mrs. Nettie Mae Lyons, age 69 passed away Thursday, April 20, 2006 at Wesley Medical Center in Hattiesburg, MS. Mrs. Lyons was a retired student activity coordinator at Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College. She was a member of Liberty Hill Baptist Church and past Matron of Order of Eastern Star.
She is survived by two daughters, Deborah Johnson and husband Keith of Waveland, MS; and Nelda Bellinger and husband, Roy of Slidell, LA; one son, Michael Lyons and wife, Marie Jane of Anchorage, AK; two grandchildren, Sarah Johnson and Matthew Johnson; one great grandson, Maxwell Dean and one brother Talmadge Byrd of Wiggins.
Funeral services were held Monday, April 24, 2006 at Liberty Hill Baptist Church with interment that followed at Liberty Hill cemetery in Perkinston.
Moore Funeral Home in Wiggins was in charge of arrangements.

Mary Carver
PERKINSTON - Mrs. Mary Carver, age 77 passed away Monday, April 24, 2006 at Stone County Hospital in Wiggins. She was a press operator outboard motor assembly. A member of Perryville Baptist Church in McHenry and a boy and girl scout troopleader.
She is survived by husband, Earl Carver of Perkinston; four daughters, Verna Sharp of Arizona, Velma K. Sharp of Illinois, Pam Von Hatten of Arkansas and Vicky Sharp of Biloxi; three sons, Gary Sharp of Virginia, Earl Carver, Jr. of Perkinston, and Jimmy Sharp of Saucier; 13 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; and two brothers, Jim Gordon and Dan Gordon both of Illinois.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, April 26, 2006 from 6-9pm at Perryville Baptist Church with funeral services on Thursday, April 27. Interment will follow at Perryville Church cemetery in McHenry.
Moore Funeral Home in Wiggins was in charge of arrangements.

Bobby Gene O’Barr, Sr.
BILOXI - Mr. Bobby Gene O’Barr, Sr., age 73 left this Earth on April 21, 2006, after a courageous battle with cancer. Bobby was born icon on May 5, 1932 in Houston, MS and graduated from Houston High School. He was a U. S. Air Force Veteran of the Korean War. Bobby took advantage of the G.I. Bill and went to college. He first attended the University of Southern Mississippi where he pitched on the baseball team and was a graduate of the University of Mississippi. He graduated from Ole Miss Law School in 1958. He then returned to Houston, hung his shingle and began a career in law of over 45 years.
Bobby practiced law in Houston, in Okolona with his brother, Jack, and then got his break by getting a job with the Mississippi Workers’ Compensation Commission in 1960, where he served as an Attorney Referee. During this time, Bobby honed his skills as an attorney and developed friendships with his peers that lasted until his death.
In 1965, he moved his family to the Coast and began his career as a trial lawyer with the Cumbest Law Firm in Pascagoula. In 1967, he moved to Biloxi where he established his law practice. At the time of his death, he was a partner in the law firm Denham, Backstrom, O’Barr and Hollingsworth in Ocean Springs.
Among his many achievements he was appointed by President Jimmy Carter in the mid-70’s to the Gulf of Mexico Fisheries Management Council and appointed to the Biloxi Port Commission by Governor Cliff Finch where he served in many capacities, including president, and was instrumental when plans for the commercial harbor were conceived. He was elected by his peers in the law profession as an International Barrister.
Bobby was a member of the Krewe of Neptune where he served as a Duke in 1986 and King in 2000. He was a member of Sunkist Country Club where he served on the board of directors and as past president a member of St. Marks Episcopal Church and a 32nd degree Mason and Shriner.
His passion for the practice of law, fishing, hunting and playing golf were only surpassed by his love of being with his family and watching his sons play ball. In his later years he could always be seen at a ballgame or at Sunkist.
Bobby will be deeply and sadly missed by his family and friends.
Mr. O’Barr was preceded in death by his son, Richard Garrett O’Barr; his parents, Walter Morris and Maggie Whitt O’Barr, Sr.; two brothers, Judge Walter Morris O’Barr, Jr. and his wife, Frances and William Gambrell and his wife Jurel.
Survivors include his wife, Jennifer Ryals O’Barr; his daughter, Mrs. Candace O’Barr Jones and her husband, Walker Williams Jones, III of Jackson; three sons, Morris Clayton O’Barr of Biloxi, William Clinton O’Barr and his wife, Tammy King of Memphis, TN and Bobby G. O’Barr, Jr. and his wife Daphne Humphries of Biloxi; his mother-in-law, Nelda Ryals Guest, and her husband, Jim of Lakeland, FL; his sister-in-law, Christa Bond and her husband Leo of Gulfport; his brother-in-law Darwin Ryals of D’Iberville; grandchildren, Corey O’Barr and Bobby O’Barr, III of Biloxi, Holly O’Barr of Biloxi, Leslie O’Barr of Memphis, TN, Anna O’Barr of Biloxi, Boyce Holleman, II of Jackson and Maggie O’Barr of Biloxi; and nieces and nephews, Theresa Gail O’Barr of Portland, OR, Merry Margaret O’Barr of Seattle, WA, Jake Bond, Josh Bond and Jeni Bond all of Gulfport.
Visitation was held Monday, April 24, 2006 from 6 until 8p.m. at the Pass Road Chapel of Bradford-O’Keefe Funeral Homes in Biloxi.
A Mass of Christian Burial was held Tuesday at 10a.m. at Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church. Interment followed at Gulf Pines cemetery in Long Beach.
In lieu of flowers the family request memorials be made to the Bobby G. O’Barr, Sr. Trial Advocacy Scholarship at the University of Mississippi Law School, Attention Tim Walsh, P.O. Box 1848, University, MS 38677; St. Marks Episcopal Church Building Fund, 123 Church Avenue, Gulfport, MS 39507 or The Catholic Diocese of Biloxi, 1790 Popps Ferry Road, Biloxi, MS 39532.
Bradford-O’Keefe Funeral Home of Biloxi was in charge of arrangements.

Douglas Ronald deBrandt, 55, of Bay St. Louis, MS passed away Wednesday, November 23, 2011 in Bay St. Louis.

Mr. Rudolph Henry Labat, 81, of Bay St. Louis died November 23, 2011 in Gulfport. Services are pending at Hartwell's Christian Mortuary, Gulfport.

Billie Bahner
Billie Bahner, age 78, ofDiamondhead, Mississippi passed away suddenly Sunday November 20, 2011.
Visitation will be held at Riemann Family Funeral Home, 9113 Kiln DeLisle Road, Pass Christian, MS. Friday, November 25, 2011 at 9:30 -11:00 with services following. In lieu of flowers, please honor Billie's life by making a donation to the charity of your choice.

Temple Evans
Tempie Perkins Evans had her heavenly birthday on November 17, 2011, while at Hospice Ministries in Jackson, MS.
A celebration of her life will be held in December at The Admiral Retirement Center during their Sunday afternoon service, where Tempie often provided piano accompaniment. Alta Woods Baptist Church, Dr. Frank Thomas, conducts these services at The Admiral and the family wishes to thank he and Alta Woods Church members for their many prayers for Tempie during her illness. In lieu of flowers donations to Hospice Ministries is suggested.

Arthur Jeanfreau Jr.
Arthur Jeanfreau, Jr., went to be with the Lord on Monday, November 14, 2011.
His visitation was held on Thursday, November 17, 2011 from 11:00 am until 1:00 pm at Edmond Fahey Funeral Home in Bay St. Louis, MS. The Prayer Service was at 1:00 pm.

Cathy Renee Lee died Friday morning November 18, 2011, at Tulane University Hospital in New Orleans, LA.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday, November 23, 2011 at Wells Funeral Home Chapel with visitation from 5-8 p.m. Tuesday evening, November 22, 2011 at Wells Funeral Home. Reverend Roger Howell and Mr. Terry Winters will be officiating.

Margie Heitzmann Perez, was born icon in Bay St. Louis, MS on April 15, 1922 and passed away on Saturday, November 19, 2011.
Relatives and friends are invited to the Funeral Mass at St. Pius X Catholic Church, 6666 Spanish Fort Blvd., New Orleans, LA 70124 on Wednesday, November 23, 2011at 12:00 noon. Visitation will be at E.J. Fielding Funeral Home, 2260 W. 21st Ave., Covington, LA 70433 on Wednesday from 9:30 AM until 10:30 AM. Interment will follow Mass in Hope Mausoleum. Fredrick J. "Yankee" Shipman, age 60, formerly of St. Bernard and resident of Diamondhead, passed away on Saturday, November 19, 2011, in Bay St. Louis.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, November 28, 2011, at Riemann Family Funeral Home, 9113 Kiln Delisle Road, at 11:00 a.m. Friends are invited to visit one hour prior to services.
Burial will follow at St. Joseph cemetery at Rotten Bayou. Tributes may be offered at www.riemannfamily.com.
