Milton Xavier Blanchard Jr.
Funeral services: 2:30 p.m. Sunday at the Ocean Springs Chapel of Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Homes.
OCEAN SPRINGS - Milton Xavier Blanchard Jr., 42, died Wednesday, Feb. 11, 1998, in Biloxi.
Mr. Blanchard was born in Huntington, N.Y., and was a self-employed carpenter. He had been a resident of Ocean Springs since 1969 and was a Protestant.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Bryan Blanchard.
Survivors include a daughter, Stephanie Blanchard of Ocala, Fla.; two sons, Milton Adam Blanchard of Norfolk, Va., and Brian Patrick Blanchard of Woodstock, Ga.; four sisters, Charlotte Kaasa of Oak Harbor, Wash., Beatrice Moses, Belinda Tubbs and Lela Cuevas, all of Ocean Springs; two brothers, Daniel Blanchard of Gulfport and Dale Blanchard of Atmore, Ala; and his parents, Milton and Lela Blanchard of Ocean Springs.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 tonight at the Ocean Springs Chapel of Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Homes. A service will be at 2:30 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home chapel with burial in Swetman Cemetery.

STARKVILLE - Jesse Broadus, 83, died Friday, Feb. 13, 1998, in Starkville.

MCLAURIN - Andy Carter Jr., 35, died Thursday, Feb. 12, 1998, in Hattiesburg.
Mr. Carter was a native of Hattiesburg and a graduate of Forrest County Agricultural High School. He was a former member of the Mississippi National Guard and was a member of the McLaurin Methodist Church.
Survivors include two daughters, Kaylan Carter of Purvis and Taylor Hartfield of McLaurin; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Andrew D. Carter Sr. of McLaurin; and a sister, Laurie Carter of Long Beach.
Visitation will be from 6 to 9 tonight at Hulett-Winstead Funeral Home in Hattiesburg. A graveside service will be at 3 p.m. Sunday at McLaurin Cemetery in McLaurin.
Gladys Evans
Funeral services: 10 a.m. Monday at Riemann Funeral Home Chapel, 25th Avenue, Gulfport.
GULFPORT - Mrs. Gladys M. Evans, 76, died Thursday, Feb. 12, 1998, in Biloxi.
Mrs. Evans was a native of Howison and a Coast resident most of her life. She was retired after 27 years as secretary for Plumbers and Steamfitters Local #568 and was a member of Burton Memorial Methodist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Henry McClellan and Maude B. O'Connell McClellan; and a sister, Catherine Louise McClellan.
Survivors include her husband, Jeff W. Evans of Gulfport; a son, John W. Evans of Greenville, S.C.; a daughter, Lynda Evans; a sister, Helen J Pippin, both of Gulfport.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at Riemann Funeral Home, 25th Avenue, Gulfport. A service will be at 10 a.m. Monday at the funeral home chapel with burial in Floral Hills Memorial Gardens in Gulfport.
The family prefers memorials to the American Lung Association or the American Cancer Society.
Betty Jean Faulkner
GULFPORT - Betty Jean Faulkner, 60, died Friday, Feb. 13, 1998, in Gulfport.
Mrs. Faulkner was sent from Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Home in Gulfport to Elliot Funeral Home in Augusta, Ga., for services and burial.
Norma Jean Mower Gast
Funeral services: 10 a.m. Monday at St. James Catholic Church in Gulfport.
GULFPORT - Norma Jean Mower Gast, 66, died Thursday, Feb. 13, 1998, in Gulfport.
Mrs. Gast was a native of Cresson, Pa., and had lived in South Bend/Mishawaka, Ind., area for 22 years. She was a homemaker and a registered nurse.
She was preceded in death by a son, Jeffrey Gast.
Survivors include her husband, Thomas J. Gast of Bell Buckle, Tenn.; two sons, Joseph Gast of Gulfport and James Gast of South Bend, Ind.; a daughter, Kim Lochmondy of Murfreesboro, Tenn.; and six grandchildren.
A service will be at 10 a.m. Monday at St. James Catholic Church in Gulfport with burial at the Willow Mount Cemetery in Shelbyville, Tenn.
Alton McDonald
Funeral services: 2 p.m. Sunday at Clear Creek Methodist Protestant Church.
WIGGINS - Alton McDonald, 50, of the Carnes Community, died Thursday, Feb. 12, 1998, in Wiggins.
Mr. McDonald was a millrite in the lumber industry and was a member of Clear Creek Methodist Protestant Church.
Survivors include his wife, Ann McDonald of the Carnes Community; a daughter, Crissy Parker of McHenry; three sons, Gary McDonald of Lucedale and Rob McDonald and Matt McDonald, both of the Carnes Community; a sister, Doris Gandy of Glendale; three brothers, Sonny McDonald and Herbie McDonald, both of Wiggins, and Tim McDonald of Brooklyn; and three grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 6 to 9 tonight at Moore Funeral Home in Wiggins. A service will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at the Clear Creek Methodist Protestant Church with burial in Bounds Cemetery in Carnes.

OCEAN SPRINGS - Elinor Franklin Sentell, 64, of Ocean Springs, died Thursday, February 12, 1998, in Ocean Springs.
Mrs. Sentell was born in Pascagoula and was a resident of Ocean Springs for 25 years. She was a housewife and a Catholic.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Clara Mae Carter and her stepfather, E.T. Carter.
Survivors include her husband, Lionel Sentell Sr. of Ocean Springs; her children, Lionel (Rocky) Sentell Jr. and wife, Sheri, of Ocean Springs, Gina Kostal and husband, Richard, of Ocean Springs, Russell (Rusty) Sentell and wife, Maureen, of Sanford, Fla., and George (Randy) Sentell and companion, Ellen, of Hollywood, Fla.; two sisters, Mary Ellen Sanders of Taylorsville, and Eve Strickland of Kenner, La.; a brother, Johnny Franklin of Long Beach; her grandchildren, Christen Shepard, Sarah Sentell, Ricky and Ryan Kostal, Lindsay Sentell, Stacey Sentell, Robby, Russell, Ronnie and Randall Sentell; one great-grandson; a special friend, Louise Anderson of Biloxi; and a special cousin, Milly Tibilier of Gautier.
A service will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 14, 1998, at Howard Avenue Chapel of Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Homes in Biloxi where friends may call from noon until service time. Burial will be in Biloxi City Cemetery.

Donald Kay Shelton
Funeral services: Noon today at Picayune Funeral Home Chapel.
SLIDELL - Donald Kay Shelton, 69, died Friday, Feb. 13, 1998, in Slidell.
Mr. Shelton was a native of Columbus and was a purchasing agent for Amstar Sugar Refinery. He was a member of the Church of the Way.
Survivors include his wife, Nancy Ada Boykins Shelton of Slidell; two daughters, Donna Guzman and Susan Guzman, both of Picayune; a brother, Michael Shelton of Bogalusa, La.; and nine grandchildren.
A service will be at noon today at Picayune Funeral Home Chapel in Picayune with burial in Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Picayune.
