Oxford -- John Burney 'J.B.' Kelly Jr., 83, retired owner of Kelly's Chevron Service Station, died Saturday at his home. Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at College Hill Presbyterian Church, where he was an elder and former Sunday school superintendent, with burial in College Hill cemetery. Waller Funeral Home has charge. He was a World War II Army veteran, former City of Oxford alderman, charter member of Civitan Club, officer in Veterans of Foreign Wars and member of the American Legion. Mr. Kelly, the husband of Ruth Tolson Kelly, also leaves a son, John William Kelly of Greenville, S.C.; two sisters, Mary Elizabeth Corban of Clinton and Jeanet Roberds of Longview, Texas; a brother, Maurice Kelly of Ripley, Tenn., and two grandchildren. The family requests that any memorials be sent to Samaritan's Purse in Boone, N.C.

Southaven -- Karen Miller Smith, 34, teller for Sears Credit Union, died Thursday at Baptist Memorial Hospital-DeSoto. Batesville -- Flake Little Buntin, 95, retired nurse, died Sunday at her home. Services will be at 3:30 p.m. Wednesday at Wells Funeral Home with burial in Mount Pisgah Baptist Church cemetery in Enid. She was a member of Batesville First Baptist Church and WMU. Mrs. Buntin, the widow of Robert Rayburn Buntin, leaves a daughter, Jane Buntin Pierce of Nashville; three sons, Joseph Ellery Buntin of Southaven, and William Reed Buntin and Jerry Lofton Buntin, both of Batesville; two sisters, Virginia Harris of Batesville and Louise Barnett of Hattiesburg, 11 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Hudson, the widow of Ewell Hudon, leaves a daughter, Debbie Hudson West of Houston.

Mrs. Greer, the wife of Elmer C. Mr. Teel, the husband of Allene Gardner Teel for 59 years, also leaves three daughters, Martha Fant of Holly Springs, Kathy Goode of Mount Pleasant and Madge Winburn of Hickory Flat; a son, Ivy Wayne Teel of Mount Pleasant, 10 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
