Mr. Robert Lee Keys, of Moss Point, Miss., was born
June 25, 1956, to Josetta Leggetta and Sylvester Keys of Bassfield, Miss.
He leaves to cherish his memory his loving mother, Josetta Leggett (Lester) Pou of Moss Point, Miss; his loving father, Sylvester Keys of Bassfield, Miss.; six sisters, Shirley (Roosevelt) Jones of Moss Point, Miss., Suszanne Davis of Prentiss, Miss., Shirley Ann Reese and Lourie Reese of Bassfield, Miss., Patty (Ronald) Moore of Atlanta, Ga., Shundie (Henry) Myers of Prentiss, Miss.; five brothers, Thomas E. Keys of Pascagoula, Miss., Jerry D. Keys of Jackson, Miss., Michael Reese, Glenn D. Reese and Damen Reese, all of Bassfield, Miss., two very loving and devoted friends, Jessie "Greg" Wiley and Willie Charles Applewhite, both of Moss Point, and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, relatives and other close friends.
Visitation will be from 10 to 11 a.m. Saturday, July 24, 2004, at Christian Love Church where funeral services will begin promptly at 11 a.m. with Elder D. A. Graham officiating.
Internment will be in Scranton cemetery, Pascagoula, Miss.

RODGERS
Donald William Rodgers, 56, of Pascagoula, Miss., died July 21, 2004, at his residence. Mr. Rodgers was born
March 26, 1948, in Jackson, Miss. He had been a resident of Jackson County since 1969. He is preceded in death by his parents, James and Ava Rodgers, and two brothers, Kenneth and James Rodgers.
He is survived by his wife, Brenda Rodgers of Pascagoula, Miss.; a son, Donald Lee Rodgers of Gautier, Miss.; three daughters, Donita Rodgers and Frances Rodgers, both of Georgia, and Joy Hall of Jackson, Miss.; a brother, David Rodgers of Crystal Springs, Miss.; two sisters, Jean Johnson of Mobile, Ala., Judy Edmonds of Crystal Springs, Miss.; and eight grandchildren; and a friend who seemed more like a brother, Johnny Broome of Pascagoula, Miss.
Private services will be held on a later date.

TOMASI
Nina Geddes Tomasi, 75 of Orange Grove, Miss. passed away July 21, 2004, in Orange Grove. She was born
Sept. 29, 1928, in Stockton, Calif., to Lloyd and Edith Geddes of Brentwood, Calif. She graduated from Liberty Union High School in 1946. She was preceded in death by her parents, Lloyd and Edith Geddes; husband, Nicholas Tomosi; son, James Michael Tomasi; brothers, Warren Geddes and John Weston Geddes; nephew, Steve Arnaudo, all of California; daughter-in law, Shirley Singleton Tomasi of Arkansas.
Survivors include her four children, Paul (Debbie) Tomasi of Hilton Head Island, S.C.; Valerie (Harvey) Oliver of Forts Lake, Miss.; Richard Tomasi of Canadian, Oklahoma and Nicolette Nickie (Herbert) Emrick of Helena, Miss.; sister, Thelma Arnavdo of Alexandria, Calif.; daughter in law, Stephanie Tomasi of San Lorenzo, Calif.; grandchildren, Amy Singleton Tomasi and family of Arkansas, Jenny (Shane) Stork of Forts Lake, Miss., Rachael Tomasi of San Lorenzo, Calf., Mikayla Tomasi of Canadian, Oklahoma; one great-grandson, Seth Stork of Forts Lake, Miss.; two step-great-grandchildren, Hope and Haley Ferguson of Grand Bay, Ala.; nephew, David (Patty) Arnaudo and daughter Juliet of Alexandria, Va.; niece, Barbara Adams of Antioch, Calif.; two very special friends from grade school, Joyce and Gladys of Brentwood, Calif. Nina leaves many to cherished friends in San Diego and San Leandro, Calif.
Memorial visitation will be from 6 to 9 p.m. Friday July 23, 2004, at Jackson County Funeral Services in Escatawpa.
Mrs. Tomasis' final resting place will be at Union cemetery in Brentwood, Calif.

BANG
Mr. Albert Alton Bang, 65, a lifelong resident of Lucedale, Miss., received his physical healing on Wednesday, July 21, 2004, when he went to be with Jesus. He was a true man of God, faithful to his wife, children, grandchildren, church family and friends. He was an active member of Crossroads Free Pentecostal Church, where he served as deacon and men's adult Sunday school teacher. He was a retired process manager in the power plant of International Paper Company in Moss Point, Miss.
He was preceded in death by his father, John Bang, and two sisters, Irsa Marie and Annie Faye Bang.
He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Patricia Pope Bang; three daughters, Madeline (Van) Easterling, Kathy (Davy) Sellers both of Lucedale, and Christine Miller Weiland of Gulfport, Miss.; his mother, Mary Eugene Bang of Mobile, Ala.; eight grandchildren, Kandi (Matt) Stevens, Bethany (Drew) Easterling Patch, both of Gulfport, Chad Stevens of Prescott, Ariz., Ashton Easterling, Suanna Easterling, Hannah Sellers, Devin Alton Sellers and Victoria Sellers, all of Lucedale; one great grandchild, Mary Christine Helms of Gulfport, Miss.; one brother, John Darrell (Linda) Bang of Vancleave, Miss.; three sisters, Edna (Earl) Dixon of Mobile, Ala., Annette (R.D.) Byrd and JoAnn (Tommy) Tipton, both of Lucedale, Miss.
Visitation will be held at George County Funeral Home in Lucedale, Miss., from 5 to 9 p.m. Thursday, July 22, 2004. The funeral will be at Crossroads Free Pentecostal Church in Lucedale at 10 p.m. Friday, July 23, 2004. Interment will be held at Crossroads Free Pentecostal Church cemetery immediately following the fu-neral.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that contributions be made to the Crossroads Free Pentecostal Church's Mexico Mission Fund at 11145 Hwy. 26 West, Lucedale, Miss. The funds will be used to build churches in Mexico.

PALMER
Tony Leigh Palmer, 47, was born
on Nov. 14, 1957, in Norfolk, Va.
He leaves to cherish his memories, his wife, Lucille Palmer, of Moss Point; his children, LaKizzie Davis of Pascagoula, Catrina Davis of Pascagoula, Erica Davis of Pascagoula, Neil Crawford of Pascagoula and LeBarron of Moss Point; his mother, Mary S. Palmer-Wrein of Durham, N.C.; one brother, Larry Palmer (Drucilla) of Durham, N.C.; four sisters, Earlene Weston, (Alonzo Jr.) of Belhaven, N.C., Evon Palmer of Hillsborough, N.C., Clara Wrein of Durham, N.C. and Margaret W. Roddey of Durham, N.C.; one god brother, Kenneth Watts (Louise) of Richmond, Va.; nine grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be from 1 to 2 p.m. Saturday, July 24, at St. John's Baptist Church, Pearl Street, Moss Point. Funeral service will follow at 2 p.m. at the church.
Interment will be at Good Hope Baptist Church cemetery, Escatawpa, Miss.

RUGG
Mrs. Dorothy Jolene Rugg, 77, of Pascagoula, Miss., for the past five years, formerly of Albuquerque, New Mexico, died July 17, 2004, in Pascagoula. She was born
Nov. 11, 1926, in Carroll County, Tennessee.
Jo loved her Sunday school class and the members of the Adult VI Department at First Baptist Church in Pascagoula. She also had several very special friends she loved at Arlington Heights Baptist Church.
Mrs. Rugg was a member of First Baptist Church of Pascagoula and the Eastern Star.
She was preceded in death be her husband, Ben A. Rugg; mother and father, James Dillard and Mary Lou Argo Smith; and one brother, James E. Smith.
Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Donna (Larry) Lee Sr. of Pascagoula; granddaughter, Denise (Dr. Jeff) Holland of Byram, Miss.; grandson, Larry Neal (Beverly Elzey) Lee Jr. of Hattiesburg, Miss.; four great-grandchildren: Connor, Cassidy and Cade Holland, and Joshua Lee.
Memorial services will be at 10 a.m. Friday, July 23, 2004, at First Baptist Church in Pascagoula in the Adult VI Department. The family will receive friends one hour prior to services. The Rev. Dennis Ray Smith and Dr. Jeff Holland will be officiating.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the First Baptist Church Building Fund, your church, or a favorite charity.

STRAHAN
Curtis Strahan, of Moss Point, Miss., died July 21, 2004, in Pascagoula, Miss., at the age of 88.
Mr. Strahan was born
Aug. 28, 1916, in Orvisburg, Miss. He had been a resident of Jackson County for the past 65 years. He served in the United States Navy in World War II, and was a member of the First Baptist Church of Moss Point.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy Strahan; one brother; and two sisters.
Ronald Strahan of Moss Point; a sister, Bonnie Boone; and a brother, Ottis Strahan.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Friday, July 23, 2004, at the O'Bryant-O'Keefe Funeral Home in Pascagoula with visitation one hour prior to service. The Rev. Michael Perry will officiate.
Interment will follow at Machpelah cemetery in Pascagoula, Miss.

ANDREWS
Mr. Collum "Fish" Andrews of Moss Point, Miss., departed this life on Thursday, July 15, 2004, at Singing River Hospital in Pascagoula, Miss.
He was born
July 17, 1939, in Evergreen, Ala., to the union of Liston and Artensie Andrews. Mr. Andrews moved to Moss Point at the young age of 3.
After graduating from Magnolia High School in 1958, he served in the U.S. Army. Over the years, Mr. Andrews was employed at Ingalls Shipyard in Pascagoula, Miss., and Daybrook Fisheries in Empire, La.
His wife, Dollie Andrews, and father, Liston H. Andrews, preceded him in death.
Mr. Andrews leaves to cherish his memory two sons, Deryl Ray (Robbi) Andrews of Harvey, La., and Collum L. (Sharon) Andrews of Moss Point, Miss.; one daughter, Josie Renee (Tony) Taylor of Austell, Ga.; a loving and devoted companion, Joyce Denet of Empire, La.; his mother, Artensie Ladd An-drews; three brothers, Robert (Alice) Andrews, Herman (Mary) Andrews and Liston (Diane) Andrews; two sisters, Mary A. Fairley and Mattie Andrews, all of Moss Point, Miss.; six grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
Visitation will be from 10 to 11 a.m., Friday, July 23, 2004, at Solomon Temple A.M.E. Zion Church, 4313 Ely Ave., Moss Point, Miss.
Funeral services will begin promptly at 11 a.m. at the church with the Rev. James E. Powell officiating.
Interment will be in Biloxi V.A. cemetery, Biloxi, Miss.

GRIFFIN
Mrs. R.V. Griffin, 86, of Vancleave, Miss., formerly of Moss Point, Miss., died Tuesday, July 19, 2004, in Vancleave.
She was born
Nov. 1, 1917, in Carthage. Mrs. Griffin was a member of Forts Lake Assembly of God Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Mr. Homer L. Griffin, and a daughter, Shirley Carter.
Mrs. Griffin is survived by three daughters, Ruth Buckley of Moss Point, Sylvia (James) Buckley of Vancleave, and Debra "Debbie" Raybon of Moss Point; nine grandchildren, Earlene Jenkins, Eugene Jones, Lee Jones, Vince Jones, Jimmy Buckley, Tammy Buckley, Tony Buckley, Dewana "Dee Dee" Raybon, and Marlin Raybon; seven great-grandchildren, Jimmy, Jackie, Keith, Mark, Calvin, Justin and Jennifer; and two great-, great-grandchildren, Austin and Jacob.
Visitation will be from 6 to 9 p.m. Wednesday, July 21, 2004, at Holder-Wells Funeral Home in Moss Point. Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Thursday, July 22, at the funeral home chapel with the Rev. C.D. Cauley and the Rev. Tim Cauley officiating. Interment will follow in Serene Memorial Gardens, Escatawpa, Miss.
Pallbearers will be Jack Buckley, Tony Buckley, Lee Jones, Marlin Raybon. Eugene Jones and Wayne Butler. Earlene Jenkins will serve as an honorary pallbearer.

HEMBREE
Mrs. Lora Annette Hembree, 65, died July 19, 2004, at her home.
Mrs. Hembree was a native of Lucedale, Miss., a resident of Plum Bluff Drive, Lucedale, Miss. She was a homemaker, and a member of the Pine View Missionary Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by two sisters, Ellen Ray Sykes and Gladys Robertson.
Survivors include her husband, Nelson "Ned" Hembree; four children, Ronald (Debbie) Hembree, Donald (Tonya) Hembree, Sandra (Dwight) Showles, and Chris (Deana) Hembree; eight grandchildren, Shelly Hembree, Keith Hembree, Marie (Doug) Allgood, Matthew Hembree, Stephanie Hembree, Joshua Showles, Ann Hembree and Meagan (Dan) Futtrell; three great grandchildren, Bailey Allgood, Tyler Davis and Kase Allgood; five sisters, Berneice Smith, Mary K. (French) Goodman, Linda Whittington, Patsy (Brother Donald) Hilbun and Hazel Hilbun; three brothers, Woodrow (Opal) McLeod, Johnny McLeod and Daniel (Debbie) McLeod.
Visitation will be from 6 to 9 p.m. Wednesday, July 21, at Sigler Funeral Home in Lucedale.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday, July 22, at Red Creek Missionary Baptist Church. Interment will follow in the Pine View Missionary Baptist Church cemetery. Brother Donald Hilbun, Brother William Oldenquist and Brother Michael Vice will conduct the funeral services.
