Nora Bingham Mestayer, 71, of Pascagoula, Miss., departed this life on Jan. 11, 2005. She was a native of Hammond, Ind., and a resident of Pascagoula for 43 years.

Hazel Davis Vaughn, 86, of Vancleave, Miss., died Tuesday, Jan. 11, 2005, in Ocean Springs.
BRIGGS
Anita Carnathan Briggs, beloved wife, mother and friend, died Jan. 9, 2005, in Birmingham, Ala. Mrs. Briggs was born
Dec. 8, 1912, in Kemper County, Miss. She lived in Porterville, Electric Mills, Meridian and Pascagoula, Miss., and York, Ala., before retiring from her hospital and medical insurance roles and moving to Birmingham with her husband.

Bro. Wesley B. McLeod, 78, was born
on Feb. 19, 1926, to Joe and Sallie McLeod in Leaf, Miss. He entered peacefully into eternal rest on Saturday, Jan. 8, 2005, at 11:54 p.m.

Nora Bingham Mestayer, 71, of Pascagoula, Miss., departed this life on Jan. 11, 2005. She was a native of Hammond, Ind., and a resident of Pascagoula for 43 years.
STALLWORTH
Mrs. Hazel Ruth Lett Stallworth, 67, was born
on Feb. 6, 1937, in Peterman, Ala., and departed this life on Jan. 6, 2005, at Biloxi Community Living Center in Biloxi, Miss. She was the daughter of Mr. Benjamin Lett Sr. and the late Carrie Lee Lett. She was united in marriage to Mr. Theophilus Stallworth Sr. and of the union were born
three sons.
COOPER
Ms. Bernadine Cooper, 61, of Moss Point, Miss., was born
Sept. 12, 1943, in Moss Point. She passed on to eternal life on Jan. 9, 2005 at Singing River Hospital, Pascagoula, Miss.
ROMERO
Michael E. Romero, U.S. Army Staff Sgt., Ret., 74, of Pascagoula, Miss., died Monday, Jan. 10, 2005, at his residence. He was born
March 2, 1930, in Meadowmoore, Ohio, and has been a resident of Pascagoula for over 30 years. Mr. Romero retired from the U.S. Army as a staff sergeant and served during the Korean Conflict and Vietnam War. Mr. Romero retired as an electrician for Ingalls Shipbuilding after 20 years of employment. He was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Elks Lodge, VFW and American Legion. He was also a lifetime member of Knights of Columbus in Panama Canal Zone. He was a former volunteer for Jackson County Youth Court.

Lottie Mae Brantley was welcomed home on Thursday, Jan. 6, 2005. She was born
on Sept. 12, 1925 to James and Alberta Powe in Cuba, Ala.

Beloved husband, father, brother, grandfather and friend, Mr. Clyde Douglas Vaughan, 81, of Escatawpa, went home to meet Jesus on Saturday, Jan. 8, 2005.
ECKERT
Mr. Frederick Paul Eckert, 81 of Escatawpa, Miss., died June 3, 2005 at his home in Escatawpa. Mr. Eckert was born
June 28, 1923 in Lumberton, Miss. He was a member of Escatawpa Baptist Church and had retired from Northrop Grumman Corporation as a material analyst. Mr. Eckert was a World War II veteran and had served in the U.S. Navy. He was preceded in death by his parents, Karl and Elsie Eckert and one brother, Edgar Eckert.

Mr. Richard Lee "Rick" Galloway, 38, of Pascagoula, Miss., died Friday, June 3, 2005, in Pascagoula.

Charlie Gavin Edwards, 83, of New Hope Church Road, Lucedale, Miss., died Friday June 3, 2005 at his home.
HANSON
John L Hanson, of Ocean Springs, Miss., died on Thursday, June 2, 2005, at home in the arms of his wife and mother, after a valiant battle with cancer.
LONG
Grace Wanda Cumbest Long, age 78, died Friday, June 3, 2005 in Moss Point, Miss. Mrs. Long was a native of Jackson County. She was born
on May 17, 1927 in Wade, Miss. She was of the Baptist faith and former co-owner of Long's Transfer and Moving Co. Mrs. Long was preceded in death by her parents, Steve and Florence Cumbest; her husband, Robert "Bob" Long; and one son, Robert Stephen Long.
PITTMAN
Rev. Joseph Richard Pittman, 71, of Ocean Springs, Miss., slipped peacefully away Thursday, June 2, 2005 at his home surrounded by family.

Mr. Terrill Howellton Smith, Jr., 52, of Vancleave, Miss., died June 1, 2005 in Ocean Springs. He was born
November 28, 1952 in Pascagoula.
AUSTIN
Mr. Homer Watson Austin, Jr., 83, and Mrs. Tressie Bea Austin, 79, of Pas-cagoula, Miss., both passed away in May, 2005. A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, June 4, 2005, at Christ Lutheran Church in Pascagoula with Pastor Jon Arborgast officiating. A time of fellowship for family and friends will follow in the Memorial Center at the church.
LEWIS
Mr. Tony "T.L." Lewis of Moss Point, Miss., was born
July 16, 1976. He departed this life on June 1, 2005 at Singing River Hospital in Pascagoula, Miss. Mr. Lewis was a lifelong resident of Moss Point and a 1994 graduate of Moss Point High School.

Mrs. Mary Love McMahan, 83, of Lucedale, Miss., passed away on May, 31, 2005 in Lucedale. Mrs. McMahan was born
on September 11, 1921 in Hazlehurst, Miss. She was preceded in death by her parents, Julius and Elmer Berry; husband, Jim McMahan; son, James Robert McMahan; sister, Christine Berry; brothers, B. F. Berry, Earl Berry, J. C. Berry, and Hugh Berry.

Mr. Ted Wayne Sullivan, 55, of Pascagoula, Miss., passed away June 1, 2005. He was born
May 18, 1950 in Louisville, Miss. He was employed in the Sheet Metal Department of Northrop Grumman for 35 years. Mr. Sullivan was a member of Unity Baptist Church. He served in the Miss. National Guard. He was preceded in death by his father, Coley Sullivan, first wife, Joanne Sullivan and daughter, Crystal Sullivan.
