GREENVILLE — Funeral arrangements for Mose Rhodes, 54, of Greenville are pending at Byas Funeral Home, Greenville. He died June 7, 2002, at Delta Regional Medical Center, Greenville.

Richardson

GREENVILLE — Funeral arrangements for Dan Richardson, 76, of Greenville are pending at Watson-Edwards & Evans Funeral Home, Greenville. He died June 9, 2002, at his home.

Rossiter

GREENVILLE — Funeral services for Roger Duane Rossiter, 55, of Greenville, pastor of First Christian Church of Greenville, will be Wednesday at 1 p.m. at Crum Ridge Church of Christ near Summerfield, Ohio. He died June 7, 2002, in Greenville. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Bauer-Turner Funeral Home, Woodsfield, Ohio.

He received his education at Salisbury State College, Maryland, Memphis School of Preaching, and was in the masters program at Cincinnati Bible College, Cincinnati, Ohio. He authored two books while living in Greenville, and had a weekly column in the Delta Democrat Times. He was a member of the Greenville Ministerial Association.

He was preceded in death by his father, Jesse Rossiter of Summersville, Ohio.

Survivors include two sons, Daniel Rossiter and Aaron (Rebecca) Rossiter, both of Covington, Ky.; his mother, Marie Rossiter of Summersville, Ohio; six brothers; and two sisters.

Visitation will be today from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. at Bauer and Turner Funeral Home, Woodsfield, Ohio.

Session

INDIANOLA — Funeral arrangements for Dorina Session, 85, of Indianola are pending at Byas Funeral Home, Indianola. She died June 9, 2002, at South Sunflower County Hospital, Indianola.

Williams

GREENVILLE — Funeral arrangements for Calvin Williams Jr., 6 weeks, of Greenville are pending at Frye Funeral Home, Leland. He died June 9, 2002, at University of Mississippi Medical Center, Jackson.

Parr

GREENVILLE -- Funeral services for Eva Merle Parr, 65, a retired waitress of Greenville will be Tuesday at 1 p.m. at Smith Funeral Home Chapel, Greenville. She died of heart failure Dec. 14, 2002, at The King's Daughters Hospital, Greenville. Burial will follow at the Greenville Cemetery under the direction of Smith Funeral Home.

Mrs. Parr was born Dec. 29, 1936, in Belzoni, Miss., to Theodore and Flossie Grantham. She moved to the Greenville area at an early age where she attended Riverside School. She worked as a waitress for many years before she retired. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Dewitt Parr in 1982, and her daughter, Terry Parr Riddle in 1994. She was a Baptist.

Survivors include one son, Mike (Carolyn) Parr of Southaven, Miss., four daughters, Nancy (Tommy) Fugett of Greenville, Miss., Angela (John) Cohea of Greenville, Miss., Diane (Russell) Goodwin of Jackson, Miss., and JoAnne (Jerry) Sumrall of Nettleton, Miss.; three brothers, William (Nelda) Grantham of Quinton, Ala., Larry (Sarah) Grantham of Jackson, Miss., and Curtis (Laverne) Grantham of Crockett, Texas; three sisters, Dot (Wayne) Hall, of Houston, Texas, Joyce (William) Fuller of Dallas, Texas, and Pat Renaldo of Greenville, Miss.; 18 grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be today from 6 to 8 p.m. at Smith Funeral Home.

The Rev. Stephen Ramsey will officiate.

Pallbearers will be Jell McClendon, Rusty Goodwin, Thomas Fugett III, Jeremy Parr, Blake Parr and Josh Thomas. Honorary pallbearers will be Christopher Fugett and Cameron Parr.

Peterson

LELAND -- Funeral arrangements for Patrina Smith Peterson, 45, of Leland are pending at Frye Funeral Home, Leland. She died Dec. 14, 2002, at Delta Regional Medical Center, Greenville.

Blair

SAGINAW, Mich. -- Funeral services for Ida Mae Blair, 88, of Saginaw and formerly of Greenville were held Monday at 11 a.m. at St. Luke's Temple Church of God In Christ, Saginaw. She died March 23, 2003, at Covenant Emergency Care Center, Saginaw. Burial was in Forest Lawn Cemetery, Saginaw, under the direction of Browne's Mortuary, Saginaw.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Walter Blair Sr.; three sons; one sister; and three brothers. She was formerly a member of Lily of the Valley Church of God In Christ in Greenville.

Survivors include two daughters, Fannie Tucker of Saginaw and Irma Rollins of Milwaukee; four sons, Ollie (Eudora) Blair, Johnnie (Cleodis) Blair and Collins Blair, all of Saginaw, and Willie D. (Ethel) Blair of Greenville; one brother, Willie Lee (Mary) Washington of Shreveport, La.; 16 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; six great-great-grandchildren; and many other relatives and friends, including one special friend, Mother Mary Smith.

Superintendent Absalom Smith officiated.

Christian

NETTLETON -- Funeral services for the Rev. Jefferson Coleman Christian, 79, of Nettleton and formerly of Greenville were Saturday at 2 p.m. at E.E. Pickle Funeral Home, Amory. He died April 3, 2003, at his home. Burial was in Haughton Memorial Park, E.E. Pickle Funeral Home, Amory.

Hawthorne

MOORHEAD -- Funeral arrangements for Lucas L. Hawthorne, 6 weeks of Moorhead are pending at Byas Funeral Home, Indianola. He died April 5, 2003, at University of Mississippi Medical Center, Jackson.

Imbler

TUPELO -- Graveside services for Ann Imbler, age unavailable, of Tupelo and formerly of Greenville were at 2:30 p.m. Saturday at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens, Greenville. She died April 3, 2003, at North Mississippi Medical Center, Tupelo, after a short illness. Arrangements were under the direction of W.E. Pegues Funeral Directors, Tupelo.

She was born and raised in Macon, Mo., and had lived most of her life in Greenville. She moved to Tupelo in 1998, where she was a resident of the Mitchell Center at Traceway Retirement Community. She was an interior decorator and had worked many years with the Senoj Furniture Co. in Greenville. She was a long-time member of the Greenville First United Methodist Church. Her husband, Randall Stone Imbler, preceded her in death in 1981.

Survivors include one son, Charles V. Imbler and his wife, Sue; one grandchild, Charles V. Imbler Jr. and his wife, Trentice; and two great-grandchildren, Mallie Elizabeth Imbler and Carrol Trent Imbler, all of Tupelo.

Dr. Tom Atkins officiated.

Memorials may be made to the Sanctuary Hospice House, P.O. Box 192, Tupelo, MS 38802.

Mura

INDIANOLA -- Funeral services for Rose Lee Mura, 87, a homemaker of Indianola will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Indianola. She died April 4, 2003, at South Sunflower County Hospital, Indianola. Burial will be in Indianola City Cemetery under the direction of Card Funeral Home, Indianola.

She was a native of Cleveland, Ohio. She and her husband had made their home in Indianola, Miss., for the past 40 years. She was a communicant of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, where she served in many capacities.

Survivors include her husband, Henry F. Mura; a daughter, Cindy (Bill) Baird of Indianola; and two grandchildren, Elizabeth Lee "Betsy" Baird and William Lake (Lorie) Baird, both of Indianola.

Visitation will be from 6 to 7 p.m. today at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, with Rosary at 7 p.m. at the church.

Memorials may be made to Immaculate Conception Catholic Church or donor's choice.

Thornburg

GREENWOOD -- Funeral services for Ray C. "R.C." Thornburg, 72, a retired supervisor of Mississippi Cottonseed Products, of Greenwood will be at 1 p.m. Monday at Williams & Lord Funeral Funeral Home Chapel, Greenwood. He died April 5, 2003, at Greenwood Leflore Hospital, Greenwood, of pneumonia. Burial will be in Odd Fellows Cemetery, Greenwood.

Born in Glendora, he was a lifelong resident of Greenwood, a member of First Presbyterian Church, Greenwood, a retired supervisor with Mississippi Cottonseed Products. He was preceded in death by his parents, W.P. and Ludie Thornburg, and a sister, Mavis Gwaltney.

Survivors include his wife of 54 years, Louise Thornburg of Greenwood; a daughter and son-in-law, Ginger and Mike Morlino of Greenville; a son and daughter-in-law, Ray and Melinda Thornburg of Greenwood; a sister, Virgie Denton of Greenwood; a brother, Bill Thornburg Sr. of Carrollton; seven grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Bill Thornburg Jr., Bob Denton, Chuckie Denton, Freddie Murphy, Billy Joe Denton, Davis Moore, Scott Upchurch and James Nester.

Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. today at Williams & Lord, Greenwood.

Dr. Rusty Douglas will officiate.

Bean

GREENVILLE — Funeral arrangement for Isaac Bean, 72, of Greenville are pending at Bea's Century Funeral Home, Greenville. He died June 16, 2003, at St. Francis Hospital, Memphis.
