Billy Joe Scott, 70, of Barton community in George County died May 25, 2007, in Barton. Billy was born
on April 12, 1937 in Tupelo, Miss. He lived most of his life in Jackson County. He was a tank tester supervisor for Ingalls shipbuilding for 42 years. He was a Mason with the Moss Point Masonic Lodge #419,he also attended the Family Life Church in Jackson County.
BRUCE
William H. Bruce, 76, died Friday, May 25, 2007, at his home, Lucedale, Miss. born
in Cairo, Ga., he was the son of the late Coy and the late Corine (Wilson) Bruce. He served during Korean War in the Navy from Jan. 28, 1948 to Jan. 17, 1950. He was a retired construction worker.

Rev. H. J. Hedgepeth, 73, of Lucedale, Miss., died May, 24, 2007. He was born
Feb. 9, 1934, in Lawrence County, Miss. Rev. Hedge-peth was an ordained United Methodist Minister having actively and faithfully served in the Mississippi Annual Conference for 40 years before retiring in 1997 from Lucedale United Methodist Church. He was currently serving at Vernal Presbyterian Church in Greene County. he was a loving husband, father, and grandfather, as well as a mentor to many.

Mrs. Nita Moran Saucier, 95, of Biloxi, Miss., died Thursday, May 24, 2007, in Biloxi.

William H. (Bill) Colley Sr., 78, of Moss Point, Miss., died May 23, 2007, in Moss Point. Bill was born
on Nov. 1, 1928, in Fort Smith, Ark. He was a veteran of the United States Navy for 812 years, and a member of Escatawpa Baptist Church in Escatawpa, Miss. He was also retired from Wade Block and Tile in Gautier Miss.

Mrs. Rose Marie Ma-gee-Davis, she was highly favored to this earth and departed it with Glory on May 20, 2007. She died in a car accident in Clark County, Miss., but is native of Pascagoula, Miss.

October 8, 1938, departed this life to be with the Lord on Monday, May 21, 2007. Olevia was born
and reared in Moss Point, Miss. She worked many years in the blueprint section of Ingall's, now Northrop Grumman, as well as Casino Magic in Biloxi, Miss., until her health failed. She graduated from Magnolia High School in Moss Point. She joined Life Ministries and became a member there until her death.

Mrs. Melba Griffith Buchanan, 89, departed this life in peaceful sleep at her home on Monday, March 3, 2008. born
Jan. 13, 1919, in Kentwood, La., Mrs. Buchanan was the daughter of Chester Arthur and Luena (Hogan) Griffith. A 1936 graduate of Forrest County AHS, Mrs. Buchanan married
Willard Lucian Buchanan of the Dixie Community, where they lived until his death in 1976. She was employed at Camp Shelby during World War II and afterward worked at the Reliance Manufacturing Company and the Woolworth Company until after her children graduated from high school. She then earned her undergraduate degree in elementary education at the University of Southern Mississippi and then taught school until she opened her own day care-kindergarten in Monticello, Miss. After retirement, she moved to be near her daughter in Lamar County.
