in Pascagoula, Miss., on Feb. 8, 1963 to Macie R. McMillan and Floyd A. McMillan. His father, Floyd A McMillan, maternal grandparents, Jessie and Virdia Love and paternal grandparents, Henry and Rosie McMillan, preceded him in death.

Marie Denton, 46, of Pascagoula passed away June 24, 2006, at her home. Ms. Denton was a member of Parkway Baptist Church and was employed with Singing River Hospital as an emergency room technician.

Mr. Jack Cleo Allday, at the humble age of 85, left this life to start anew on Christmas Day, Dec. 25, 2007. Holding God's hand throughout this journey, Jack was born
the day after Christmas, Dec. 26, 1921. His blue eyes first opened to a Pascagoula that is now lost in the pages of history. Serving his country with honor and distinction as a Chief Petty Officer in the United States Navy, he earned two Purple Hearts, The Distinguished Service Medal, The Presidential Unit Citation, along with many others in his valiant naval service during World War II. A proud lifetime member of the American Legion Post #160 of Pascagoula, The Elite Service Connected 40/8 and a longtime parishioner of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Pascagoula, Miss., Jack has always lived for God and country. Awaiting Jack in Heaven is his wife of 54 years, Lila Wanda (Farragut) Allday; his three daughters, Lila, J., Julie and Wanda Ann; his parents, grandparents and too many friends to name. What a glorious celebration it must be for those who have waited so long to be with him again.

Harris Guy Barrett, II - A native of Pascagoula, Miss., and a resident of Mobile, Ala., passed away in Austin, Texas. Guy was a 2003 graduate of UMS-Wright Preparatory School and a 2007 graduate of Tulane University. He was a first-year law student at the University of Texas at Austin. Guy was preceded in death by his grandfather, Wayne Montgomery Lasater.
