Mr. Carey John Hebert, 65, of Ocean Springs, MS, died Friday, October 26, 2007, in Ocean Springs.
Mr. Hebert was a native of Houma, LA and had been a resident of the coast for the past 20 years. He was a retired U. S. Air Force Veteran of Vietnam with 27 years of service. He had a very distinguished career while in the military, traveling to Saudi Arabia, Asia and Europe. He was a Catholic and member of the Germania Club.
Mr. Hebert is survived by his wife of 44 years, Rosemarie Hebert of Ocean Springs; two sisters, Patricia and Louise; one brother, Chelsea, nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, October 31, 2007, at 12 noon with visitation one hour before at Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Home in Ocean Springs. Interment will follow in Biloxi National cemetery with full military honors.

Debbie Elizabeth Hebert

Debbie Elizabeth Hebert, age 52 of Gautier, MS, died on Tuesday, October 30, 2007 in Ocean Springs, MS.
Mrs. Hebert was a graduate of the University of Southern Mississippi with a 4.0 average, Class of 1991. She was raised in Orlando, FL and Taylorsville, MS. and had been a resident of the Gulf Coast for the last 20 years. She taught math at Moss Point High, Harrison Central (9th grade) also at North Woolmarket Elementary and Middle School.
Mrs. Hebert was preceded in death by her parents Glenn Spencer and Margie Robinson White.
Survivors include her husband of 20 years, James D. Hebert of Gautier; three daughters, Cynthia Sellers of McHenry, MS, Alanna Yarley of Gautier, MS and Jerrianne Brees (Roy) of Baton Rouge, LA; five sons, Donnie Hebert Jr. of Mobile, AL, Rohn Edwards (Sydney) of Gulfport, Allen Hebert (Shannon) of Mobile, AL, Jonathan Hebert of Auburn, AL and Tony Hebert of Gautier, MS; two sisters, Donna Spencer-Hughes of McHenry, MS and Lita-Libush White of Anchorage, AK; two brothers, David Spencer (Vicki) of Mt. Olive,MS and Rocky White of Anchorage, AK; her step-father, Shirley Lyle White of McHenry, MS and three grandchildren, Tempest Hebert, Jerrolyn Brees and Trey Crosslin.
A Celebration of Life will be held from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. on Sunday, November 4, 2007 at the Ocean Springs Chapel of Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Homes.

Sybil Ann Parrette Sinicropi

Sybil Parrette Sinicropi, 64, of Biloxi, went to be with God on October 30, 2007. She was a lifelong resident of Biloxi, MS.
She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Essie Parrette, a brother Emmette Parrette, three sisters, Marie McInnis, Earline Meredith, Nell Alford and the love of her life, her first husband, Danny Barber.
She is survived by three sons, Steven Barber and his wife Veronica of D'Iberville, Donnie Barber of Ocean Springs, Lee Barber of St. Martin, a daughter, DeDe Gray of Woolmarket, three sisters, Frances Alley of St. Martin, Bobbie Dimitry of Pascagoula, Nancy Chisesi of Gulfport, a brother, Richard Alawine of Jackson, 8 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.
Visitation is Friday, November 2, 2007 from 9:30 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. Service at 11:00 a.m. Both will take place at the Howard Avenue Chapel of Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Home. Interment at Floral Hills, Gulfport.

Allen Ray Davis

Allen Ray Davis, age 50, of Vancleave, died Tuesday, October 30, 2007 in Ocean Springs.
Allen was a lifelong resident of the coast. He was a mechanic and of the Baptist faith.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Ethel Gazerro and a grandson, Joshua Garzes.
Survivors include his wife, Dora Davis; father, Darvin Davis; daughters, Elizabeth Davis, Crystal Anne Davis; two step-daughters, Elizabeth Beaugez, Amy Lewis; a step-son, Edward Prine; three sisters, Darvin Ann Malley, Becky Asher, Sylvia Simmons;
a brother, Tommy Davis; mother-in-law, Mary Jane Jennings and ten grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 3, 2007, from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. at the Ocean Springs Chapel of Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Homes. A Memorial service will follow at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of the funeral home.

Joan Barrett Roosa

Joan Barrett Roosa, age 73, of Gulfport, died Tuesday, October 30, 2007 in Gulfport, MS.
Mrs. Roosa was born icon May 23, 1934, in Booneville, MS to Dr. and Mrs. J. T. Barrett. She was married icon to Col. Stuart A. Roosa, Apollo 14 astronaut. One of the many wonderful moments of her life was witnessing his mission to the moon in 1971, after which she traveled with her husband and children to the White House to attend a State Dinner and was guest of President Nixon at Camp David.
Mrs. Roosa graduated from Tupelo High School. She attended Ole Miss where she was a member of Chi Omega Sorority, graduating later from MUW with a degree in history. She also enjoyed at the “W” membership in the Blacklist Honorary Society Club. She belonged to the Four Seasons Garden Club (Past President), and the Gulfport Yacht Club, where she was a member and past-president of the Ladies' Auxiliary.
Mrs. Roosa was an adventurer and world traveler, having visited every continent but Antarctica and traveled to over 60 countries, having lived in Japan and Greece. She was a hunter and member of the prestigious Shikar-Safari Club, having been to Africa on safari several times. She traveled with the Astronaut-Cosmonaut group of the Association of Space Explorers. She met dignitaries, royalty, and celebrities in her travels and represented her southern roots with charm and grace.
Mrs. Roosa was an accomplished epicurean. She studied cooking and would absorb the culture and cuisine in the places she lived. She derived great pleasure from entertaining friends and family with the gourmet meals she prepared.
Other than her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents; her brother, John T. Barrett, Jr. and her sister, Mrs. Jack Reese.
She is survived by her daughter, Rosemary D. Roosa, of Biloxi, MS; Christopher A. Roosa, of Arlington, VA; Mr. and Mrs. John D. Roosa, of Tucson, AZ; Mr. and Mrs. Stuart Allen Roosa, Jr. of Winter Springs, FL; five grandchildren; and her sister, Mrs. Knox White of Gulfport, MS; and Ann Powell, her longtime caregiver.
Visitation will be held at Bradford O'Keefe Funeral Home on 15th Street in Gulfport, MS on Friday, November 2, 2007 where friends may attend from 3 - 5 P.M. Interment will be in Arlington National cemetery, Arlington, VA.

Frances Favre Larkin

Frances Favre Larkin, age 89, of Gulfport died Monday, October 29, 2007 in Biloxi.
She was born icon May 18, 1918 in Gulfport.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Cora Batson Jordan and Thaddeus Warsaw Jordan; her husbands, Elkin B. "Spider" Favre, and William J. Larkin; a son, George E. Favre; two sisters, Maurine Jordan and Genevieve Behnke; and two brothers, Thad "T. W." Jordan, and Denton "Deno" Jordan.
Frances is survived by her daughter Tommye Dale Favre and her husband Darwin O'Neal of Gautier; her sister, Mae Helen Bray; her grandchildren, Blake Weaver and his wife, Erina; Andrea Sherman and her husband, Jason, Amanda O'Neal; five great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.
Frances was a graduate of Gulfport High School where she was a charter member of the Cotillion Social Club and a graduate of Mississippi State College for Women. She worked as a federal employee for many years for the Air Force, the Veterans Administration and HUD. She was then employed as a legal secretary for Martin and Taylor Attorneys. She served as president of the Harrison-Hancock Chapter of the Legal Secretaries Association. In 1976 she was selected as Legal Secretary of the year and later was awarded an honorary life membership. She was an avid golfer and active in the Gulf Coast Ladies Golf Association. The Great Southern Country Club presented her a lifetime membership in recognition of her association with that organization.
After retirement she served three terms as president of the Sunshine Guild of Gulf Coast Medical Center and authored three books of poetry.
Frances was a longtime member of St. Mark's Episcopal Church where for many years she sang in the choir. Recently, she also attended services at The Nourishing Place.
In lieu of flowers the family prefers memorials to St. Mark's Episcopal Church Building Fund, 11322 E. Taylor Road, Gulfport, MS 39503 or The Nourishing Place, P.O. Box 7785, Gulfport, MS 39502.
The funeral service will be Friday, November 2, 2007 at 1:00 p.m. at Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Home, 15th Street, Gulfport where friends may visit from 12:00 p.m. until the service.

Mr. William Jenkins
Died on April 3, 2005.

Mr. William Jenkins, 70, of Vancleave, MS died Sunday, April 3, 2005, in Biloxi.
Mr. Jenkins was a native of Biloxi and a retired Chief Petty Officer with 24 years of service from the U. S. Navy and veteran of the Vietnam War. He was retired from the Biloxi V A and worked at Biloxi Freezer and was the former manager with West Freezing Company.
Mr. Jenkins was preceded in death by his parents, Fred L.. and Hazel E. Jenkins and sisters, Nettie May Beaugez and Beaulah Bolding.
Survivors include his wife, Lurline Jenkins of Vancleave; a daughter, Christine Hotard of Berwick, LA; three sons, Keith Jenkins of Edmonton AB, Canada; Hal Jenkins of Saucier and Greg Jenkins of Destrehan, LA; six grandchildren, Gwen Jacob, Keith Jenkins, Kristian Jenkins, Dixie Jenkins, Daniel Jenkins and Riley Hotard and great grandchild, Austin Jenkins.
Visitation is Wednesday, April 6, 2005, from 6 to 9 p.m. at the Howard Avenue Chapel of Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Homes in Biloxi. Funeral Services will be held Thursday in the funeral home chapel at 1 p.m. Burial will follow in Biloxi National cemetery with full military honors.
The family prefers memorials to the American Diabetes Association, 16 Northtown Drive, Suite 100, Jackson, MS 39211 or to the American Cancer Society, 182 A Debuys Road, Biloxi, MS 39531.

Belva Gladys Arnold

Mrs. Belva Arnold, age 79, was called to her heavenly home on Saturday, September 1, 2007.
She was a native of Arkansas and also called Indiana home for many years but has called the Coast home since 1999. She lived many years in Hot Springs Village, Arkansas, where she became an accomplished real estate agent. Bel's quick whit and ability to make anyone smile will be sorely missed by many. One thing you could always depend on was when you met her it was with a hug and a smile and whether you knew her or not, you were her "Love" or her "Honey". She was a devoted wife that became the caretaker of her loving husband until his passing in 1999. After his passing, her time was devoted to her kids and grandkids, and occasionally a trip to the casinos.
She was preceded in death by her husband, William H. (Pop) Arnold.
Survivors include three daughters, Dottie (Pedro) Adams of Cincinatti, OH., Diane (Coy) Williams of Carbon, IN., and Kimberly (Keith) Stratakos of Ocean Springs, MS., three sons, Mike (Connie) Stiles of Muncie, IN., Doug (Evelyn) Stiles of Ocean Springs, MS.,and Kent (Candy) Stiles of Jessieville, AR., a sister, Jean Hale of Indianapolis, IN., twenty grandchildren, thirty one great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. Bel also had numerous nieces, nephews and cousins throughout the South.
Visitation will be on Thursday, September 6, 2007, from 10-11 AM, with an 11 AM chapel service, all at the Ocean Springs Chapel of Bradford O'Keefe Funeral Home. Mrs. Arnolds nephew, Reverend Kevin Hale of Jacksonville, FL., will be conducting the service. Burial will follow in Biloxi National cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family prefers donations be made to the Autism Speaks Foundation, #2 Park Avenue, 11th Floor, New York, New York, 10016.
The family would like to personally thank The Gardens for their love and support during her last years with us. We would also like to thank the Ocean Springs Library for being able to answer those questions for her that absolutely no one else could.
