Hamilton Funeral Home of Hamilton, Ala., is in charge of arrangements. Mr. Mars died Thursday, Oct. 9, 2008, at North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo. Visitation was held Friday at Hamilton Funeral Home and he will lie in state at Cooper Freewill Baptist Church from 10 a.m. until service time today.
