HUNTSVILLE, Ala. - Services for Kathryn Hull "Katchie" Chapman, 96, formerly of Corinth, will be held at a later date in Henry cemetery with Rev. Dennis Smith officiating. McPeters Funeral Directors is in charge of local arrangements. Ms. Chapman died Friday, Aug. 22, 2008, at her home in Huntsville. She had lived in Huntsville for the last 12 years. She was a resident of Corinth from 1947 until 1996 and during this time she was an associate with Corinth Machinery Company, WCMA Radio and was society editor for the Daily Corinthian. She was a member of the Pilot Club, Republican Womenıs Club and Womanıs Bowling Congress of America. She was a native of Covington, Ky. and was the daughter of the late William C. and Naomi Hull. Visitation will be Monday from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to a charity of choice.

Mr. Grimes died Friday, Aug. 22, 2008, at his residence. He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II and was decorated with the Bronze Star and the Marksman Badge with the Rifle Bar.
