Tony Price
Tony Price, 90 of Billings, died Sunday, Nov. 21, 1999, at Valley Health Care Center.
The son of Paradiso and Adeline Quartaroli, Tony was born Jan. 17, 1909, in Cricket, Iowa. When he was 9, his father died in a mining accident and the family moved to Musselshell. In 1926 he graduated from high school in Sumatra.
During WWII he served in the Army.
Tony married Rita Paris in Billings, Oct. 17, 1943.
Tony worked as an accountant for General Tire for many years, retiring in 1967. He then worked for Northwestern Auto Supply until starting City Auto in the early 1970s. He retired from City Auto in 1976.
He was a member of the Elks and enjoyed flower gardening and hunting.
Survivors include two daughters, Vicki Gilman and her husband, Gary of Billings, and Linda Peters and her husband, Ken of Dillon; and three grandchildren, Jason Stiff of Idaho Falls, Idaho; Cori Roush and her husband, Brian of Las Vegas, Nev.; and Toni Gilman of San Diego, Calif.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Rita, on March 4, 1976, and seven brothers and sisters, Joe, Bert, Albena, Dan, Mary, Stella and Frank.
Cremation has taken place.
Memorial services will 3 p.m. Wednesday at Michelotti, Sawyers & Nordquist Mortuary.
Memorials may be made to Deaconess Pulmonary Rehab and Volunteers or the charity of one's choice.

Margaret Iverson
WILLISTON, N.D. - Margaret Iverson, 84, formerly of Plentywood, Mont., died Sunday, Nov. 21, at Mercy Medical Center.
Services will be at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 24, at the Plentywood Lutheran Church with interment in Antelope Creek cemetery. Fulkerson Funeral Home of Plentywood is in charge.

Rene Alarcon
Renata Alarcon, age 55, of Billings, died on Sunday, Nov. 23, 1999, at her home.
Vigil Service will be held at 6 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 23, 1999, at the Chapel of Cremation or Funeral Gallery in Billings. Memorial Mass will be held at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 24, 1999, at the Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Billings with Rev. Thomas Beggin and Sister Leandra officiating. Inurnment Service will be held at Holy Cross cemetery, in Billings following Mass.
Rene was born on Dec. 24, 1943, in Naga City, Camarines Sur, Philippines, the daughter of Jorge and Auria Basilan. She married Steven Edward Alarcon on Dec. 17, 1970.
One of the high points of her life was becoming a U.S. citizen on Sept. 22, 1983. Rene worked for the Deaconess Hospital for a number of years. She has filled her time with fishing, camping, crocheting, and organizing the annual Fil-Am picnic. She helped to keep the Filipino community alive. However, all these activities took second place to her excellent homemaking skills and caring for her family. Always, her priority was her grandchildren. No one enjoyed her grandchildren more than Rene.
Survivors include husband, Steven Alarcon of Billings; mother, Auria Basilan of the Philippines; sons, Rudolfo Furigay and wife, Heather of Miles City, Roberto and Rodrigo Furigay of the Philippines; daughters, Rosita Furigay, Rebecca Manago and husband, Ben of the Philippines, Jennifer Parades and husband, Ramon of Kent, Wash., and Julie Alarcon of Billings. She had 14 beautiful grandchildren.

Mary Seibel Bailey Latterell
MISSOULA - Mary Seibel Bailey Latterell, 82, passed away Saturday, Nov. 20, at the Village Health Care Center in Missoula of natural causes. She was born July 7, 1917, in Portland, Ore., daughter of Jacob and Mollie Seibel. They moved to Billings in 1928, where she attended school.
Mary and Rolla (Ron) Bailey were married July 5, 1943. After Ron's discharge from the U.S. Navy, they resided in Billings until moving to a ranch near Roundup in 1960. Ron passed away in May 1976. Mary was married to Robert Latterell in 1980, living in Billings in summer and Arizona in winter. Robert passed away in December 1991. Mary resided in Billings until October 1999 when she moved to the Village Health Care Center in Missoula.
She was past president of Billings Fraternal Order of Eagles Auxiliary No. 176, member of AARP Senior Citizens, and the Retired Senior Volunteer Program. In addition to being an avid hunter and fisherman, she also loved flowers and gardening, crafts, needlework, and crocheting but, most of all, loved her family.
Mary was preceded in death by her parents; sister; brother; son, Dennis Bailey; two nieces and a nephew. She is survived by a son, George Bailey and wife, Anita, Missoula; daughter-in-law, Mae Bailey, Billings; granddaughter, Nancy Carkhuff, Billings; grandson, Rolla Bailey of Kansas City, Kan.; grandson, Brendan Bailey, and granddaughter, Julia Jo Bailey, Missoula; and three great-grandsons. Also surviving are four stepsons, two stepdaughters; a sister-in-law, Mollie Seibel, White Sulphur Springs; a dear cousin, Bertha Greenwald, Hardin; much-loved nieces, Mrs. Darrell Smith (Barbara), Laurel; Mrs. Al Visintin (Shirley), Roberts; Mrs. Cecil Hawkins (Arlene), Billings; nephews, Robert Seibel, White Sulphur Springs, and Johnny France, Ennis.
A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, Nov. 30, 10 a.m. at Smith Funeral Chapel (West Chapel), 304 34th W. in Billings, with a reception following.

Shirley Roch Askins
WHITE SULPHUR SPRINGS - Shirley Roch Askins, 76, of White Sulphur Springs, passed away on Monday, Nov. 22, 1999, at St. Vincent's Hospital. Shirley was born to Robert and Thelma Roch on April 10, 1923, in New Orleans, La.
She was married to Jewell Askins in 1945 and moved to Alaska where they lived for 10 years. In 1959, they moved to White Sulphur Springs where she worked at Edwards Grocery and then at the Public Drug Store for many years. She was a good mother and loved her flowers, quilting, and also reading.
She was preceded in death by her parents and husband.
Shirley was survived by three sons: John of Billings, Mike of Jacksonville, Fla., and David, also of Florida; one sister, Janice Katz of Austin, Texas; and five grandchildren: Heidi, Michelle, Julie, Verna Lea and John; and Rascall the cat, her constant companion for 27 years.
Services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 24, 1999, at Twichel Funeral Home in White Sulphur Springs with a gathering following at the Senior Center. Twichel Funeral Home made the arrangements.

Dorothy C. Hyatt
WORLAND, Wyo. - Dorothy C. Hyatt, 75, formerly of Hyattville, died Saturday, Nov. 20, 1999, at Community Care of America.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 24, at the First Southern Baptist Church with interment in Riverview Memorial Gardens cemetery. Veile Mortuary is in charge.

Agnes P. Parkinson
SHERIDAN, Wyo. - Agnes P. Parkinson, 90, died Monday, Nov. 22, 1999, at Sheridan Manor.
Cremation has taken place. Memorial services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 24, at the Heritage Towers Dining Room. Interment of cremated remains will be at a later date in the Elks cemetery. Champion Funeral Home is in charge.

D.J. Knox
DOLAN SPRINGS, Ariz. - D.J. Knox, formerly of Absarokee, Mont., died Nov. 9, 1999.
Cremation has taken place. Memorial services will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 27, at the Trinity Nazarene Church in Billings, Mont.

Marie Clymore
WORLAND, Wyo. - Marie Clymore, 91, of Worland, died Monday, Nov. 22, 1999, at Bonnie Blue Jacket Nursing Home in Basin.
Visitation will be 9 a.m.-1:30 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 24, at the Bryant Funeral Home. Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.

Susie Frances Lacek
SHERIDAN, Wyo. - Susie Frances Lacek, 86, died Sunday, Nov. 21, 1999, at Sheridan Manor.
Rosary will be at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 23, at Kane Funeral Home. Funeral mass will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 24, at Holy Name Catholic Church.

Twila Mae Greenslate
ROUNDUP - Twila Mae Greenslate, 70, of Roundup and formerly of Lewistown, died Sunday, Nov. 21, 1999, at Deaconess Hospital in Billings.
Visitation will be at 9 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 24, at the Creel Funeral Home in Lewistown. Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday in the Central Montana Memorial Gardens.

Raymond Lewis
GREAT FALLS - Raymond Lewis, 87, of 2520 5th Ave. S., died of natural causes Thursday at his home.
Graveside services with military honors have taken place in Highland cemetery. Croxford & Sons Funeral Home handled arrangements. Memorials are suggested to Peace Hospice of Montana, 125 Northwest Bypass, Great Falls, MT 59404.
He was born April 3, 1912, in Livingston, and served in the army 21/2 years during World War II.
He spent most of his life working as a pipefitter and plumber and traveled extensively for his job.
He enjoyed doing leatherwork and contributing what he could to local charities and schools.
Survivors include Felipe Santiago of Great Falls, whom he raised.

John H. Doster
ALLENTOWN, Pa. - John H. Doster was the chief of the district office of the Federal Aviation Administration at Logan Field in Billings during the 1950s and 1960s.
Mr. Doster, 83, died Nov. 13.
He was an administrator for the FAA for 47 years, retiring in 1989 as chief of the district office at Lehigh Valley International Airport. At LVIA, he started flight instructor programs and safety meetings. In 1973, the office was cited as the nation's best by FAA officials.
Survivors include his wife of 59 years, Katherine S. (Sheffield) Doster.
Services were held in Allentown. Weber Funeral Home was in charge.

Frances Marie Gams
POWELL, Wyo. - Frances Marie Gams went to be with the Lord on Nov. 20, 1999. Frances was born to John and Lydia Spomer on Feb. 2, 1912, in Gilead, Neb. She moved to Kane in March of 1920. Frances was confirmed on May 20, 1928.
Frances married Peter Gams on Feb. 23, 1935. They lived and farmed in Kane until 1965 when they moved to the Powell area.
France loved gardening and sharing the produce with family and friends. She also loved fancy work and was proud of the many ribbons she won on pieces that were entered in the fair. Frances was also active in the Immanuel Lutheran Church of Powell.
Frances is survived by her daughter, Kathy Mortimer of Powell and her daughter and son-in-law, Elaine and Pete Brano of Billings. Her grandchildren include Michael and Kelley Brano, Christie and Jess Conitz, all of Billings; Mark and Kitty Mortimer of Worland; Kevin and Nancy Mortimer of Arvada, Colo. Great-grandchildren include Kyle and Morgan Brano and Ty Conitz of Billings; Sean and Will Mortimer of Worland. She is also survived by many beloved nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Peter Gams; a daughter, Carol; a son, Pete William; two sisters, four brothers and one stepsister.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, Nov. 24, 1999, at 11 a.m. in Immanuel Lutheran Church in Powell. Interment will be in the Lovell cemetery.
Memorial donations may be made to the Powell Senior Citizens Center.
Haskell Funeral Home of Lovell is in charge of arrangements.

Maynard H. Laufman
LOVELL, Wyo. - Maynard H. Laufman, 85, died Saturday, Nov 20, 1999, at New Horizons Care Center.
Cremation has taken place. Interment of cremated remains will be at a later date in the Lovell cemetery. Haskell Funeral Home was in charge.

Elaine Schulz Oleson
Elaine Schulz Oleson died quietly Nov. 21, 1999, with family members present in her home after a long illness. She was born Jan. 7, 1920, in Detroit, Mich., to Florence and Charles Klinkman. She lived and was educated in Michigan.
She married Paul R. Schulz in 1942 at Geiger Field in Spokane, Wash., when Paul was a Second Lieutenant in the Army Air Corps. He was in the Air Force for 31 years. They lived in 10 states and two years in England. When Paul retired in 1973 they moved to Billings, and traveled quite often after his retirement, including three trips to England and Europe. Paul died in 1985 when he crashed his private airplane.
Elaine traveled to Australia, New Zealand and Hawaii, and attended 23 Elderhostels, including one in Ireland and England.
In 1989, Elaine met and married Martin Oleson. They had a wonderful life together also.
Elaine enjoyed playing Bridge, Pinochle, Mah Jongg, Rummy, and Cribbage. She also loved to knit and crochet.
She belonged to the First Presbyterian Church, RSVP, AARP, Senior Citizens Center, PEAKS No. 1, and a Mah Jongg group. She was formerly very active in Widowed Persons Service, where she met Martin.
Surviving are her husband, Martin H. Oleson; her son, Carl Schulz of Roundup, his son, Bradley; son, Kurt Schulz, daughter-in-law, Charlene and their sons, Paul and Eric of Billings; daughter, Patricia Schulz of Burlingame, Calif., and son, Eric, and his son, Joshua of Downey, Calif. Also surviving are Elaine's brother, Charles Klinkman of Las Vegas, Nev., and brother, Gary Klinkman and sister-in-law, Gayle of San Jose, Calif. She also had many nieces and nephews. Also surviving is a dear cousin, Theda Seeger of Cass City, Mich.
Memorial service will be 1 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 24, at the First Presbyterian Church, corner of 13th Street West and Poly Drive. Memorials may be made to Big Sky Hospice, Box 35033, Billings, MT 59107 or Montana Rescue Mission, Box 3232, Billings, MT 59103.
Smith's West Chapel in charge of arrangements.
