Romans 10: 9-10 says "If you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation." Therefore, we know that Carter is in Heaven with the Lord Jesus, because of his belief and confession.
He was born September 7, 1941 to William and Gladys Miller Harmon, the youngest of eleven children, and grew up on the family farm/ranch south of Bainville. He attended Bainville schools and graduated with the class of 1959.

Carter and Susie made their life farming and ranching south of Bainville and began the purchase of the home place in 1969. Carter was an excellent manager and particularly enjoyed good pasture grass and a lively saddle horse. He would say "Aren’t they pretty?" when referring to his replacement heifers.
Carter was confident, independent, and easy-going. He enjoyed people and took an interest in others wherever he may be, from Washington D.C. to Alaska to the "back forty" digging a ditch . He willingly served his state and community on various boards and in various capacities, but his deepest interest was in his church family at Bainville Faith Fellowship. He had fun, and you would, too, if you were along with him. He was purposeful and forward-thinking and enjoyed planning for the future. Carter was honest, a man of his word, and a hard worker. He was good with livestock, and kept a beautiful set of books for his business on his computer. He was an adored husband, father, grandfather of eleven, brother, and friend. Carter was delightful.
He was preceded in death by his oldest brother Lauren, his parents, and his father-in-law George T. Walker Sr.
