Sharon Delores Moe
December 12, 1935 - March 9, 2013

Sharon Moe, 77, of Great Falls, the wind beneath our wings and our beloved Mom and Grandma was ushered into Heaven on Saturday, March 9, 2013 after a short but courageous battle with cancer at a local care facility.
Private graveside services will be held at Highland cemetery and a gathering of family and friends will be held at a later date. O’Connor Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
Mom was born December 12, 1935 in Great Falls to Arthur and Vera (Egan) Brown. She married her loving husband Bob Moe in 1952 at age 16 and had her first child at age 17. By the age of 21 she was the proud mom of four little toe head boys named Dan, Pat, Mike and Dave. Seven years later she would receive her “bonus”, our little sis LeAnne. She tried her best as a mom but struggled with alcoholism from much of our growing up years, due to trying to cover up a pain filled childhood. In her mid 30’s our oldest brother Dan was instrumental in leading her into a personal relationship with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. We never saw her filled with such joy and freedom during the following decade. Her life became devoted to telling others of the love of Christ and how he could change your life.
Jesus declared “As you have done it unto the least of them, you have done it unto me.” Mom’s whole life was about inviting the poor, the minorities, the lonely and broken hearted to take refuge in her home.
Just down the block from her home she attended the Native American gospel outreach on Friday nights and a black gospel church on Sunday mornings. She had a special heart for the Indian community and adopted our Indian brother Corny as her own son. When Corny whipped a neighborhood bully, Mom rewarded him with a pizza burger, shake and fries at the Burger Master. That was our mom.
In her early 50’s she literally walked the byways and highways to spread the good news of the gospel. Many knew her as the lady in the red jacket who loved Jesus and wanted others to know his love too. Stricken with severe mental illness in her 60’s she mostly secluded herself to home, though she always had the company of her cherished family and friends. She was a great listener, counselor and friend to all. Her door was always open. She displayed remarkable courage and perseverance in her struggle with schizophrenia and the tragic death of her oldest son Dan at the age of 32.
When asked what recipe she used to make her coveted delicious cinnamon rolls, she responded; “I made them from scratch.” And that’s how God made our Mom and Grandma…“from scratch.” She was an original and authentic one of a kind. No one will ever replace her.
Her grandchildren were gifted with the best and funniest Grandma a kid could want. You could load up on Shasta pop, neopolitan ice cream, pickles, and Ritz crackers until your heart’s content. It’s amazing a kid could build forts, roller skate, sing and dance in Grandma’s living room.
She lived so simple and money only had one purpose… to give to the less fortunate.
In all her sorrows our joy knows no bounds in knowing that Mom is finally able to wake up in Heaven and skip and dance and sing songs of praise to the Lord of Lord and King of Kings. She will now forever rejoice in the Lord, and again I say she will rejoice!
She leaves behind three sons Pat (Karen) Moe, Mike (Debbie) Moe, Dave (Jamie)Moe all of Great Falls; a daughter LeAnne (Tom) Neel of Beavercreek, OH; her special sister Colleen Eastham of Great Falls; eleven grandchildren Glory, Rachel, Tom, Joe, Brandon, Cindy, Jessie, Christina, Tommy, Michael and Tyson and eight great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband Bob, son Dan, her parents Art and Vera (Egan) Brown, brothers Russ and Darby and a granddaughter Danielle.
Memorials are suggested to the Great Falls Rescue Mission, 317 - 2nd Ave S, Great Falls, Mt 59401.

Richard C. (Dick) Klick
September 20, 2014

Richard Charles “Dick” Klick passed away at his home on Castle Reef on September 20, 2014. He was born February 7, 1934 in Great Falls MT to Emil & Cecelia Klick.
He and his older brother Ted worked on the K Bar L Ranch with their parents and Uncle Leo “Sam” Klick.
He enlisted in the army at 20 and became a tank commander. He came home and packed mules and worked at the K Bar L running several different camps. He found time to court Nancy McLean and they were married in Augusta in 1956. Three children were born-Kathy, Todd & Kelly.
They raised black cattle in Simms while the kids went thru school. Dick and Nancy wore out the high way between Simms and the K Bar L keeping both places going. Son Todd is continuing the ranch in Simms.
They worked tirelessly and with the help of the kids, nephews and niece Jody the K Bar L Ranch has become a legacy unequalled.
In 1989 with all the kids married off, Dick and Nancy moved up to Castle Reef West of Augusta. This was the perfect place, close to the K Bar L and close to the mountains. He had promised Nancy a beautiful log home and he delivered. At Castle Reef they raised a beautiful elk herd and many good horses. There was also yak, highlander cattle, miniature donkeys, and a buffalo or two.
The pride he had in his horses and mules showed thru traveling the back country with a beautiful string of animals. Many men have been mentored with his knowledge of packing and working with a good mule. Dick was a conservationist and spear headed the continued preservation of the Sun River Game Preserve.
He was a past member of the Montana Cowboys Association, Dude Rancher’s Association, Montana Outfitters & Guides Association, Montana Angus Association, and American Quarter Horse Association.
If you were looking to visit with Dick, you could find him watching his family at volleyball and basketball games, rodeos, ranch rodeos, a good horse sale, at the bar having a glass of “Jack” or most of the time you would have to jump on your horse and you would find him at the ranch. He enjoyed a good visit, he loved a good joke, and he always had a nice shirt and a good looking hat. He was very proud of his family and most of all, he loved wife Nancy. We will miss his leadership, his sense of humor and his advice.
He is survived by his wife of 58 years; daughter Kathy (Michael) Robinson and her three, children Tyler (Jen), Rosslyn and Leo Tash and three great granddaughters Sage, Callie and Raelynn; his son Todd (Jean) Klick and their two children, Katy and Nora; daughter Kelly (John) Hanson and their two children, Kelsey and Garrett; and many other family members and great friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents Emil and Cecelia; uncle Leo “Sam” Klick; and brother Theodore Klick.
Dick was buried on September 25, 2014 at the August cemetery. Services were held by O’Connor Funeral Home
Memorials suggested to St Matthias Catholic Church Augusta; Augusta High School Skills USA Technical Scholarship, or your choice.
