Shepherd and Thompson
Krista Shepherd and Brett Thompson were married
June 1, 2002, St. Johns Lutheran Church.
The maid of honor was Amanda Madrid. The bridesmaids were Katie Shepherd, Kyra and Kaytelyn Bonahoom. Alexis Bentley was the flower girl.
The best man was Kelly Flansaas. Groomsmen were Curt Davis, Derick Kohl and Carl Christianson. Tristan Thompson and Kyle Shepherd were the ring bearers, and Koleman and Kurtis Gross served as ushers.
Krista is the daughter of Kara and Don Bonahoom of Helena, and Kent and Sheri Shepherd of Glendive. She graduated from Helena High School in 2001. Krista is employed for the State of Montana in the PERS department.
Brett is the son of Barb Trego of Helena, and Tom and Lynn Thompson of Spokane, Wash. He graduated from Helena High School in 2000. He is employed at D & K Motorsports.
The couple honeymooned at Chico Hotsprings.
They live in Helena.
Finnegan and Eichhorn
Ashley Jane Finnegan and Scott Wayne Eichhorn were married
Oct. 12, 2002, at the Finnegan Residence in Helena.
Ashley is the daughter of Turf and Dixie Finnegan of Helena. Scott is the son of George and Betty Eichhorn, also of Helena.
Bennett and Nelson
Laura Ann Bennett and Shawn Eric Nelson were married
July 19, 2002, at the Cathedral of St. Helena in Helena.
The matrons of honor were Shannon LaFountaine and Abbey Wayman. The bridesmaids were Lindy Furan, Rachel Buckley, Carrie Damschen and Anna McMahon. Flower girl was Michaela LaFountaine, and the readers were Nick Howlett and Rochelle Stewart.
The bestmen were Mike Nelson and Brian Mello. Groomsmen were Brian Heuiser, Brandon Boedecker, Kevin VanNice and Curtis Bennett. The ushers were Thad Michalson, Rick Asher, Ty Ridgeway and J.D. Solomon, and the ring bearer was Bridger Nelson.
Laura is the daughter of Bob and Micki Bennett of Helena. She graduated from Montana State University-Bozeman in May 2002. Laura is employed as a graphic designer for Q Communications in Helena.
Shawn is the son of Greg and Pam Nelson of Fallon, Nev. He graduated from Carroll College in Helena in 1996. He is employed at Carroll College as the assistant men's basketball coach and the sports information director.
The couple honeymooned in Alaska.
They live in Helena.
Noyes and Tatarka
Kwinci Kay Noyes and Mitchell Anthony Tatarka were married
May 25, 2002, at Bogart Park in Bozeman. The Rev. Curtis Crow officiated the ceremony.
The maid of honor was CJ Thompson. Bridesmaids were Teresa Blair and Nikki Neville, and the flower girl was Cydney Perkins.
The best man was Jess Short. Groomsmen were Richard Tatarka and Bob Harvey. Ring bearer was Tel Perkins.
Kwinci is the daughter of Sid and Irene Noyes of Helena. She is a graduate of Belgrade Senior High School and attended Miles City Community College. Kwinci is employed by Gallatin County and works on the bridge crew.
Mitch is the son of Ray and Carolyn Tatarka of Bozeman. He is a graduate of Bozeman Senior High School, and is a master plumber employed by Egbert Electric and Plumbing.
The couple honeymooned in Yellowstone National Park.
They live in Bozeman.
Sheehy and Martin
Lisa Sheehy and Bill Martin were married
June 29, 2002, at the First Assembly of God Church in Helena
The maid of honor was Susan Sheehy. The bridesmaids were April Hopkins, Anna Herron and Kim Dyar.
Bob Martin was the best man. The groomsmen were T.J. Martin, Ryan Mainard and Paul Dyar. Daniel Herron was the ring bearer, and Kyle Watson and Tucker Fitzgerald served as ushers.
Lisa is the daughter of Jim and Claudia Sheehy of Helena. A 1998 Helena High School graduate, Lisa is attending Lee University in Cleveland, Tenn., and is slated to graduate in December with a degree in special education and elementary education. She is also a student teacher.
Bill is the son of Bob Martin, and Joan and David Cantrell, all of Anderson, S.C. He graduated from Westside High School in Anderson in 1993 and Anderson College in 1999 with a bachelor's degree in religion. Bill is attending Church of God Theological Seminary and is pursuing his master's degree in counseling. He is employed at Lowe's.
The couple honeymooned at Seeley Lake and Glacier National Park.
They live in Cleveland, Tenn.
Wood and Poepping
Dana Wood and John Poepping were married
Aug. 10, 2002, at the Liberty Baptist Church in Helena.
The matron of honor was Dawn Bruck. Cindy Burden was the bridesmaid, and Courtney Reid was the junior bridesmaid. Jade Leland was the flower girl.
The best man was Kevin Stav, and Bob Summers was the groomsman. Nolan Bruck was the ring bearer.
Dana is the daughter of Jerry and Pat Wood of Clancy. She is employed at Western States Insurance.
John is the son of Norb and Lois Poepping of East Helena. He is employed at XL Cable.
The couple honeymooned in Las Vegas.
They live in Helena.
O'Sullivan and Weg
Kelly O'Sullivan and Jimmy Weg were married
Oct. 14, 2002, in the Elkhorn Mountains. Officiating at the wedding were Kathy C. Seeley and Barbara C. Harris.
Kelly is an assistant attorney general for the State of Montana.
Jimmy is an agent in charge of the Computer Crime Unit for the Montana Division of Criminal Investigation.
The couple is planning an extended honeymoon hiking throughout western Montana.
They live in Helena.
Pinkerton and Bennett
Laura Elise Pinkerton and Mark James Bennett were married
Aug. 3, 2002, at the Cathedral of St. Helena.
The maid of honor was Brigit Dolan. The bridesmaids were Tami Jost, Danielle Reagor, Theresa Bennett, Jennifer Baumann and Jan Gerl, and Katie Tabaracci, Alana Tilton, and Bridgett and Parker Webb were the flower girls.
The best man was Steve Bennett. Groomsmen were Rich Jost, Jay Pinkerton, Josh Armstrong, Marcus Hieb and Ryan Screnar. John Tabaracci, Tim Tilton and Jeff Webb were the ushers, and Scott Tilton, and Ben and Rob Tabaracci were the ring bearers.
Laura is the daughter of Judy and Scott Carter, and Clark Pinkerton, all of Helena. She graduated from Capital High School in 1993, the University of Montana in 1998, and in 2002 from Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas. Laura is a physician assistant at Helena Urgent Care.
Mark is the son of Lois and the late William Bennett of Helena. He graduated from Capital High School in 1992, Western Montana College in 1997 and from the University of Mary in 2001. Mark is a physical therapist at St. Peter’s Hospital.
The couple honeymooned in Orlando, Fla., and the Bahamas.
They live in Helena.
