Schofield and Knight
Tim and Sheri Schofield of Helena are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Christy, to Matt Knight, son of Rick and Peggy Knight of Wisdom.
Christy attended Cornerstone Academy and Rocky Mountain Christian High School in Helena.
Matt attended grade school in Lincoln and moved when he was in junior high with his parents to Anchorage, Alaska, where he grew up on the campus of Alaska Bible College. Christy and Matt met at Crown College in Minnesota.
Christy works with developmentally disabled children, and Matt is planning to join the Anchorage police department. They will be making their home in Anchorage.
Smith and Romero
Rebecca Smith and Eric Romero Jr. were married
June 13, 2009, at Memorial Park.
Maid of honor was Tia Jacobs and Emma Helmrick and Rebecca Bakker were bridesmaids. Best man was Eric Romero Sr. Chris Romero and Bear were groomsmen. Flower girls were Morrigan Romero and Justine Meixner. Tayler Neary was ring bearer.
Rebecca is the daughter of David and KimberLee Smith of Clancy. She graduated from Jefferson High School in 2004 and Helena College of Technology in 2007. She is employed by Tiger Express.
Eric is the son of Eric Romero Sr. and Veronica White of Helena. He graduated from Alvarado High School in 2004 and is employed by Tiger Express.
The couple plan a honeymoon in December or January.
Plaska and Olson
Tim and Pam Plaska of Clancy and Roberta and Frank Olson of Des Moines, Wash., are pleased to announce the engagement of their children, Jennifer Lynn Plaska and Casey Alexander Olson.
Jennifer is a graduate of American Intercontinental University and is employed as a branch manager for Citifinancial.
Casey is a graduate of Central Washington University and is employed as a Western Regional Call Center team leader for Qwest Communications.
The couple will wed Oct. 17, 2009, at Old Bahama Bay in the town of West End on Grand Bahama Island. They reside in Boise, Idaho.
Fuller and Erdahl
Ray and Christy Fuller of Helena are happy to announce the engagement and upcoming wedding of their daughter, Danielle Christine, to Andrew Paul Erdahl, son of Ken and Corinne Erdahl of East Helena, on Jan. 2, 2010.
Danielle and Andrew are graduates of Helena Christian High School. Danielle will finish her degree in secondary English education in December 2009. Andrew is currently employed at Fireside Coffee and Costco, and plans to pursue a degree in nursing.
Palmquist and Yuricic
Rocky and Mary Yuricic of East Helena are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Theresa Yuricic, to Christian Palmquist, son of Blaine and Judy Palmquist of Helena.
The bride-to-be graduated from Helena High School and is a 2007 graduate of Caroll College. She is employed by The Chamberlain Group. The groom-to-be graduated from Capital High School and is employed by the United States Postal Service.
A Helena wedding is planned for late August.
Eich and Davis
Howard and Liz Eich are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Evelyn Eich, to Matt Davis of Helena. Matt is the son of Frank and Joan Davis of Longmont, Colo. Evelyn works as a budget analyst in the governor's office. Matt is a taxidermist and works at Trails West Taxidermy in Helena.
A February 2010 wedding is planned on Waikiki Beach in Hawaii.
Cox and Van Dyke
Mr. and Mrs. Paul Cox of Sandpoint, Idaho, announce the engagement of their daughter, Kelly Ann Cox, to Joshua Michael Van Dyke, son of Mr. and Mrs. Bob Van Dyke of Helena. The couple will marry Feb. 20, 2010, in Sandpoint, Idaho.
The bride is a 2009 graduate from the University of Idaho and is a kindergarten teacher. The groom is a 2007 graduate from North Idaho College and is a police officer for the city of Sandpoint.
Lubick and Howland
Amy Lubick and Bill Howland announce their engagement and wedding planned for Sept. 26.
Amy is the daughter of Bob and Colleen Lubick of Helena. She is a 2003 graduate of Helena High School and is a registered nurse at the International Heart Institute.
Bill is the son of Jerry and Sara Howland of Billings. He is a 2003 graduate of Billings West High and is a QA engineer at Summit Aeronautics Group.
Golden and Hutchins
Amy Lynn Golden and Caleb Asa Hutchins were joined together in marriage on Aug. 22, in a garden ceremony at Heritage Hall in Missoula.
Officiating the ceremony was the Rev. Lloyd Phillips.
Pattie Roberts served as the maid of honor and Henry McNeil served as the best man.
Groomsmen included Evan Roberts, Jeff Sykes and Alex Rodriguez.
Bridesmaids included Kirsten Spetz, Erin Martin and Briana Hobbs.
Shelley DeWees was the ceremony singer. Kailey Smith and Adrienne Piccono were the readers.
The bride's brother, Kyle Golden, was the usher.
Amy is the daughter of Bob and Mary Golden of Helena. Amy graduated from the University of Montana in 2007 with a bachelor's degree in English, with an emphasis in creative writing as well as a teaching certificate for secondary education, English language arts emphasis.
She graduated from Helena Capital High in 2002.
Caleb is the son of Allison Powell and the late Richard Hutchins of Kalispell. Caleb graduated from the University of Montana in 2007 with a bachelor's degree in history, and broad field social studies as well as a teaching certificate for secondary education. He graduated from Flathead High in 2002.
The couple lives in Missoula.
Burton and Oster
Jessica Burton and Shawn Oster were married
Aug. 1 at Ryan Island, with the Rev. Dwight Engel officiating.
Parents of the couple are Lloyd and Denise Burton of Helena, and Alan and Evelyn Oster of Billings.
Michelle Burton was maid of honor, with Brittany Oster, Lori Huseby and Angel Bodner as bridesmaids.
Keith Oster was best man, with Craig McNee and John Kindred as groomsmen.
Baily Oster, McKenzy Oster, Sarah Hayzlip and Sophia Hayzlip were flower girls. David Hayzlip and Bridger Oster were ring bearers, and Eric Nyberg served as usher.
The couple is at home in Great Falls. She is employed at the Great Falls Tribune and he at Echostar.
