Clarence Robertson, 57, of 3810 Joel St., Fayetteville, died Friday in Cape Fear Valley Medical Center.
The funeral will be conducted at 4 p.m. Monday in Mount Calvary Missionary Baptist Church by the Rev. T.W. Campbell. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Mr. Robertson is survived by a son, Clarence W. Wright of the home; his mother, Mary H. Robertson of the home; two sisters, Juanita Davis of Charlotte and Gloria Terrell of Fayetteville; and a brother, Gerald Carroll of Maxton.
The public will be received today from 1 to 8 p.m. at Cunningham & Sons Mortuary.

FALCON -- Ms. Julia Draughon Register, 97, of Falcon died Saturday in Golden Years Nursing Home.

Ms. Register is survived by a daughter, Ruth E. Draughon of Falcon.

LAURINBURG -- Leon Edgar McCall of Laurinburg died Friday in Edwin Morgan Center.
Mr. McCall was a superintendent for Dixianna Mills in Dillon, S.C., before retiring.
The funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Monday in Laurel Hill United Methodist Church in Laurel Hill by the Rev. Brian Perry. Burial will be in Hillside Cemetery.
Mr. McCall is survived by a daughter, Sandra M. Skamperle of Laurinburg; three sons, Ed McCall of Greenville, S.C., Tom McCall of Laurinburg and Michael McCall of Greenville, N.C.; a sister, Ruby Calhoun of Laurel Hill; and six grandchildren.

Ms. Lizzie Locklear

MAXTON -- Ms. Lizzie Locklear, 83, of 1166 Cabinet Shop Road died Tuesday in Southeastern Regional Medical Center in Lumberton.
The funeral will be conducted at 3 p.m. today in Bakers Chapel Baptist Church by the Revs. Daniel Jacobs, Craig Jones and Lindbergh Chavis. Burial will be in the Locklear family cemetery. Arrangements are being handled by Thompson’s Funeral Home.
Ms. Locklear is survived by three sons, Johnny Locklear and Randolph Locklear, both of Maxton, and Andrew Locklear of Rowland; a daughter, JoAnn Locklear of Maxton; six brothers, Idel Locklear of Maxton, Condary Locklear and Erwin Locklear, both of Rowland, Clyde Locklear of Fairmont and R.L. Locklear and Lacy Locklear, both of Pembroke; four sisters, Blois Locklear of Laurinburg and Pauline Locklear, Birdie Locklear and Martha Locklear, all of Pembroke; and 12 grandchildren.

Among Ms. Leach’s survivors are three brothers, Joseph Charles, Jessie Charles and John Charles, all of Rowland; and two sisters, Flossie Braddy of Whiteville and Margerita Graham of Rowland.

GARLAND -- Mrs. Lettie Barnes Johnson, 84, of 1315 Bull St. died Friday in Bladen County Hospital in Elizabethtown.

Mrs. Johnson is survived by a son, Donnie Johnson of Fayetteville; two sisters, Melva Johnson and Lois Smith, both of Garland; a brother, Otis Barnes of Elizabethtown; and a granddaughter.

Headen of the home; his mother, Eula B. Headen of Taylortown; a sister, Elven Brisbon of Taylortown; four brothers, Willie Headen of El Paso, Texas, Edward Headen of Brooklyn, N.Y., Luther Headen of Taylortown and Jerry Headen of Welch, Va.; and 18 grandchildren.

Oscar Lee Daniel, 73, of 1138 Honeycutt Road, Fayetteville, died Friday in Cape Fear Valley Medical Center.
Mr. Daniel was a plant foreman with Barnhill Construction Company before retiring.

Mr. Daniel is survived by his wife, Maude O. Daniel of Fayetteville; three daughters, Elgie Behagg and Connie Trudeau, both of Fayetteville, and Cleo Pickard of Australia; three sisters, Alice Daniel, Ann. L. Brock and Beatrice Barbour, all of Fayetteville; and four brothers, William Daniel, Curwood Daniel and Robert Daniel, all of Fayetteville, and Charlie Daniel of Cove.

RAEFORD -- Retired Army Sgt. 1st Class Nathaniel Brown, 52, of 128 Spring Valley Drive died Wednesday in Cape Fear Valley Medical Center in Fayetteville.
Mr. Brown was a veteran of the Vietnam War.
The funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Tuesday in Jernigan-Warren Funeral Home chapel in Fayetteville by chaplain Maj. Stepp. Burial will be in Sandhills State Veterans Cemetery in Spring Lake.
Mr. Brown is survived by his wife, Joan S. Brown of the home; two sons, Andre M. Brown of Providence, R.I., and Scott N. Brown of West Warwick, R.I.; four daughters, Natasha Brown of East Providence, R.I., Udana Brown of Providence and Sandra Brown and Samantha Brown, both of Ridgefield, Conn.; two brothers, George Ruffin of York, Pa., and Herbert H. Murphy of Rocky Mount; and five sisters, Evelyn Barrett of Charlotte, Virginia Fenner of Fayetteville, Beverly Ruffin of Rocky Mount and Rosamae Murphy and Sonya Anne Murphy, both of South Carolina.

Gary was a student at Midway High School. He was a member of Peniel Pentecostal Holiness Church.
