Hazel Warren
Mrs. Hazel Warren, 88 of Lillington died Sunday, December 23, 2012 at WakeMed in Raleigh. A native of Harnett County, she was preceded in death by her husbands, Clyde Warren and Grady Matthews, and a son, Ronald Lynn Warren. Mrs. Warren was a member of Neills Creek Baptist Church in Angier.
A funeral was held December 28 at 2 p.m. at Neills Creek Baptist Chruch with Rev. Chris Turner officiating. Burial followed at Lakeside Memorial Gardens in Angier. Family received friends December 27 at O’Quinn Peebles Funeral Home from 6 to 8 p.m. and at other times at the home of Donald and Debra Warren, Sr. of Fuquay-Varina.
Mrs. Warren is survived by her son, Donald Warren, Sr. and wife, Debra, of Fuquay-Varina; grandsons, Donald Warren, Jr. and wife, Tiffany, and David Warren; great grandson, Burke Warren; and sisters, Christen Batten of Four Oaks, Bobbie Wilkins and Jean Smith, both of Angier.

N.A. Cameron, Jr.
Mr. N.A. Cameron, Jr., 73, of Mamers died Monday, December 31, 2012 at Universal Healthcare in Lillington. He was born in Harnett County, the son of the late Neill Cameron, Sr. and Flarie Wood Cameron. Mr. Cameron was preceded in death by his brother, Roy Cameron. He was a lifelong member of the Mamers community and attended Boone Trail School.
A funeral was held January 2 at 3 p.m. at Leaflet Presbyterian Church. Burial followed in the church cemetery. Family received friends at the church from 1 to 3 p.m.

Surviving Mr. Cameron are his wife of 46 years, Nancy Holder Cameron, of the home; two daughters, Angie Cameron Raynor and husband Kevin of Lillington and Jean Cameron Nipper and husband Tommy of Linden; three grandchildren, Andrew Patterson, Collin Raynor and Emily Raynor; sisters, Edna Rogers and husband Eugene of Sanford, Ruby Griffin of Lillington, Thelma Cameron of Grifton, N.C., and Gaynelle Rosser and husband Clarence of Sanford; and brother, David Cameron of Cameron.

Leonidas Charles “L.C.” Patterson, Jr.
Leonidas Charles (L.C.) Patterson, Jr., 77, of Broadway died Tuesday, December 25, 2012 at Central Carolina Hospital in Sanford. He was born in Harnett County to the late Leonidas Charles (Lonnie), Sr. and Carrie Butler Patterson. L.C. was a retired mechanic and farmer and served his country in U. S. Army during the Korean Conflict. He was preceded in death by his father and mother; brothers, Roderick (Ock), Duncan, John Dacosta (J.D.), Archie and Foster; and sister, Lena M. Hughes.
Funeral services were conducted at 2 p.m. December 27 at Leaflet Presbyterian Church with the Rev. Thomas Spence officiating. Burial followed at the church cemetery.
He is survived by brothers, Clyde and friend, Christine Jones, of Broadway; Nash and wife, Marie, of Linden; Dougald and wife, Wallace Ann, of Reidsville; Parker and wife, Mildred, of Greensboro; sisters, Jennie Holland and husband, Johnny, of Lillington; Margaret Butler and husband, Charlie, of Broadway; 21 nieces and nephews; 31 great nieces and nephews and many cousins.
The family received friends following the service in the church fellowship hall.
