RozAnn E. Ebersole of Lake Park, died Saturday, May 6, 2006 in Fayetteville, NC. RozAnn was born on July 1, 1935 in Williston, ND to George and Thelma FitzGerald. She graduated from high school in 1953 in Sidney, MT. before getting a 4 year degree from the College of St. Catherine. On January 23, 1956 RozAnn married Bob Ebersole in Miles City, MT. They had seven children and raised them as Bob was serving time in the U.S. Air Force. After Bob retired from the USAF in 1976 they moved back to Lake Park. She then worked at Sunnyside Nursing Home for several years. Roz
Ann enjoyed living in the lakes area and loved being around family and spending time with her grandchildren.

RozAnn was preceded in death by her daughter, Kolleen; parents, George and Thelma; daughter-in-law, Sherilyn; and brother, Patrick.

She is survived by her husband Bob of 50 years; Children, Robert (Gina) of Arlington, TX, Michael (Beverly) of Audubon, Scott of Raeford, NC, Edward (Pam) of Stillwater, MN, Brett (Shelly) of Hawley, and Jarett (Jody) of Detroit Lakes; grandchildren, Janna, Nicole, Evan, Hanna, Benjamin, Abigale, Morgan, Macey; three step-grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and one brother, Dennis FitzGerald.

Rhoda Doran, 85
Died: Saturday, May 06, 2006, in MeritCare Hospital, Fargo, ND.
Rhoda was born August 31, 1920 to Edwin and Annette (Quam) Grani. Rhoda's mother died when she was sixteen months old. She and her brothers were raised by several relatives. Rhoda grew up with her Quam grandparents. She was baptized and confirmed at Houglum Lutheran Church.

Rhoda married Vernon Doran on January 6, 1942 at Vancouver, Washington. Rhoda worked waitress jobs in Hawley for many years, and then was employed at American Linen where she worked for over twenty years, retiring in 1986. Rhoda and Vernon enjoyed bowling, snowmobiling, fishing and car races. They had a son, son-in-law and grandson-in-law that raced at Glyndon.

Rhoda spent almost all of her life in Hawley until moving to Ulen in 2004. She enjoyed reading, bingo and visiting. Vernon died in December of 1997.

Rhoda is survived by two sons, Ray (Mary) Doran, Hawley, MN, and Rick Doran, Hawley, MN; one daughter, Kathy (Richard) Legvold, West Fargo, N D; one brother, Ernest (Maxine) Grani, Hawley, MN; three grandchildren, Jim Doran, Tammy Faul, and Ryan Legvold; six great-grandchildren, Becca, Kristina, Levi and Kayla Faul, Allie Doran and Keegan Legvold.

Marjorie L. Wurzbacher, 81
Died: Thursday, October 06, 2005, in Innovis Health Systems, Fargo, ND.
Marjorie Lorene Wurzbacher, 81, Moorhead, MN, died on Thursday, October 06, 2005, in Innovis Health, Fargo, ND.

Marjorie Lorene Wurzbacher was born on October 30, 1923, in Unionville, Missouri, to Earl and Norma (Burns) Gillum. She grew up and graduated from high school there. She went to Seattle, WA, and worked at the Naval Air Station during WWII. It was there that she met the love of her life, Frank Wurzbacher, and they were married on October 6, 1944, in Sacred Heart Catholic Church in East Grand Forks, MN, where they made their home following his honorable discharge from military service. They moved to Moorhead, MN, in 1952 and lived there until 1969, when they moved to Sartell, MN, as Frank was transferred with the railroad. Frank died on June 10, 1992, and she returned to Moorhead, MN. For the past three years, she had been living with her daughter, Catherine Stockstad in Moorhead.

Marjorie Lorene was a loving mother and grandmother, and she loved helping others, she was always so concerned about everyone else, even when she was sick. She loved nature and the outdoors, gardening, fishing, golfing or attending her grandchildren's and great-grandchildren's sporting events. She was an outdoors person who much preferred to be barefoot. She was a private person who put her faith in God to care for all. She volunteered with Hospice of the Red River Valley and was a member of the Christian Mothers and Catholic Daughters.

Marjorie is survived by two sons, Charles, Phoenix, AZ, and Mike (Liz), Fargo, ND; two daughters, Catherine Stockstad, Moorhead, MN, and Deborah Wurzbacher, Fargo, ND; fiance' Lee Fonder, Fargo, ND; two sisters, Mildred (Gary) Dixon, Tehachapi, California, and Mary Trask, Unionville, Missouri; four grandchildren, Lisa (Brandon) Driscoll, Moorhead, MN, Jamie Kaseman, Fargo, ND, Jessica and Jeremiah Wurzbacher, Fargo, ND; and five great grandchildren, Chase, Gage, Greta, Madalynn, and Isaac.

Lillian G. Woolever, 88
Died: Tuesday, July 05, 2005, in Innovis Health Systems, Fargo, ND.
Lillian Woolever, 88, of Moorhead, died Tuesday, July 5, 2005, in Innovis Health Systems, Fargo, ND.

Lillian was born on October 29, 1916 to Henry and Minnie (Lindow) Hand, in Detroit Lakes, MN. She grew up and attended school in Detroit Lakes, graduating from high school in 1934. On March 17, 1942 she married Varnum Woolever in Detroit Lakes. They then moved to Crookston where Lillian worked as a cook for many years at the Crystal Sugar Beet Factory and the at Riverview Hospital. After their retirement in 1985 they moved to Moorhead. Varnum died on November 26, 1995. Lillian was a very creative mother and grandmother who loved working with her hands. She will be missed by many.

She is survived by one daughter, Sandy (Virgil) Kohler, Moorhead, MN; one son, Maynard Woolever, FL; eight grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents; five brothers, Henry A., Walter, Frank, Alfred and Henry R. Hand; and four sisters, Dorothy Simpson, Ethel Haft, Bessie Schultz and Margaret Taylor.

Korwyn "Koke" See, 91

Korwyn "Koke" See, 91, Dilworth, MN, died on Friday, April 7, 2006, in Elim Home, Fargo, ND.

Korwyn Delaney was born on April 10, 1914, in Dickenson, ND, to Charles and Effie (Merry) Delaney. After attending college and obtaining a teaching certificate, she taught in various North Dakota country schools. She later moved to Fargo, ND, and attended beauty school. She married Duane See on June 18, 1942, and they made their home in Dilworth, MN, where they raised two children, John and Patricia. Duane died in November 1972. Korwyn entered the nursing home in February, 2005. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Duane; sisters, Lorene and Verlie; and brothers, Charles, Lyle and Robert.

Korwyn is survived by a son, John (Renae) See, Deerwood, MN, and a daughter, Patricia (Dwayne) Messerschmidt, Campbell, MN; four grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

Ruth E. Buth, 86

Ruth E. Voelker was born on January 30, 1919, in Winona, MN, to John and Elizabeth Voelker. She grew up and attended school there. Ruth married William F. Grams in 1941 and they moved to Moorhead, MN. She went to work at Minnette's Beauty Shop in the Comstock Hotel, eventually took over ownership and worked as a beautician for fifty years. William died on November 3, 1970. Ruth married Ardell Buth on November 27, 1982. After retiring, they spent twelve winters in Arizona at the Silver Ridge RV Park in Mesa. Ruth had served as a Volunteer at MeritCare Hospital in Fargo, ND. She enjoyed water aerobics at Concordia and also her book club.

Ruth is survived by her husband, Ardell Buth, Moorhead, MN; one son, William (Laura) Grams, Cedar Rapids, Iowa; one daughter, Mary (David) Hutchinson, New Berlin, WI; four grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband William; five brothers, Al, Jerome, George, Joseph and James; three sisters, Phyllis, Kathryn, and Evelyn.

Myron L. Odland, 54
Died: Monday, May 22, 2006, in MeritCare Hospital, Palliative Care Unit, Fargo, ND.
Myron was born in Detroit Lakes, MN, on March 5, 1952. He graduated from Moorhead High School & served in the United States Army stationed in Germany. Myron worked at the D & P Grain Terminal for 28 years. He considered his job a second home. Myron was a quiet and unassuming man in life and so we will respect those same qualities in his death. We love you and will miss you, Myron.

Lloyd M. Anderson was born at home in Grand Forks, ND on December 30, 1926 to Louis and Johanna (Langseth) Anderson. Lloyd served in the U.S. Army during World War 11. Following his discharge, he was employed by Burlington Northern Railroad. He retired from the Burlington Northern Railroad after 43 years of dedicated service. Lloyd married Doris M. Hess in Moorhead, MN on November 9, 1980. Recently, he was a resident of Manor Care Health Services in Fargo, ND.

He is survived by his wife, Doris Anderson, Fargo, ND; sons, Donald (Patty), East Grand Forks, MN, Dale (Maralee), Ogden, UT, Dennis, Grand Forks, ND; daughters, Patricia Chumbly, Goldvein, VA, Linda (Chet) Massingill, Gilbert, AZ, Sandy Sawatski, Grand Forks, ND; 10 stepchildren and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Ronald D. Denny, 67

Ronald D. Denny was born on July 27, 1937, in Minneapolis, MN, to Raymond and Betty (Griffin) Denny. He served in the U.S. Armed Forces. He worked as a truck driver for most of his life. Ronald had been living at the Eventide Living Center for the past three years. He was well liked by everyone there and his neighbors had become his family.

Dorothy A. Waite, 77

Dorothy Ann Comstock was born on April 5, 1928 to Clark M. and Mathilda (Kozek) Comstock in Wahpeton, ND. She grew up and attended school, graduating from Wahpeton High School. She then moved up to Fargo where she attended St. John's Nursing School. Once she finished at St. John's she moved back to Breckenridge and started work at St. Francis Hospital. She met her husband to be, Robert, when he returned from the war. They were married in 1946. In 1964 the family moved to Moorhead and she started working at Dakota Hospital. Dorothy worked at Dakota Hospital until her retirement. She spent her first years after retirement wintering in Florida. After they realized Florida wasn't their place to retire, she and her husband, Bob, sold their place and moved to Pelican Lake. Together they lived there until Bob passed away.

She always enjoyed her summers at the lake. She is survived by her daughter, Beverly Ann (William) LeBeau; son, Rush (Cynthia) Waite; four grandchildren, Marcus and Shannan LeBeau & Isabel and Sadie Waite.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and husband, Robert.

Kenneth A. "Kenny" Yeager, 58
Died: Friday, May 12, 2006, in Bridges Medical Services, Ada, MN.
Kenneth A. "Kenny" Yeager, 58, Borup, MN, died on May 12, 2006, in Bridges Medical Center, Ada, MN.

Kenneth was born on March 2, 1948, in Moorhead, MN, to Elton R. and Lucille (Smith) Yeager. He attended school in Felton, MN and graduated in 1966. He was active in high school sports, FFA and other school related activities. He married Doris Matson of Ulen, MN, in May of 1968. They had one son Kelly. Later, he married Joan Schmidt of Grand Rapids, MN and they had one son, Jay Yeager.

He is survived by his two sons, Kelly Thompson, Wheatland, ND, and Jay Yeager, Denver, CO; one sister, Doris (Jerry) Kurpius, Hoyt Lakes, MN; three brothers, Earl, Felton, MN, Keith (Connie) Yeager, Coos Bay, OR, Irvin (Diane) Yeager, Coos Bay, OR, and many nieces and nephews. Ken loved sports activities of all kinds, working crossword puzzles and other game challenges. He worked for American Crystal Sugar during the fall harvest and was a farm hand for Murphy Farms for many years.

He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers, Gene and LeRoy and one sister, Maxine Rafteseth.
