President, Nebraska Society of Architects, 1977; elected to board of directors of the National Council of Architectural Registration Boards, 1985. Past president, Nebraska Chapter of American Institute of Architects. Former member, Country Club of Lincoln. In recent years, had been an active member of First Congregational Church of Ramona, as well as the San Vincente Golf Club. He had a love for travel and enjoyed spending his retired years traveling nationally and abroad.
