She traveled with her sister, Shirley to Florida in her motor home where they stayed at Lake Ocala. She got to see the Grand Canyon, Mount Rushmore and traveled extensively with David and Deanna.

Age 80, of Lincoln died October 6, 2004. She was born Betty Mae
Taylor at Benedict, Nebraska, in 1924, the daughter of Frank and Mildred Johnson Taylor.
Mrs. Stalons graduated from York College and did graduate work at the University of Illinois.
She was the widow of W.H. Stalons, Jr.
Mrs. Stalons worked in the Lincoln City Library, primarily in the catalog department, retiring in 1989 after 43 years of service to the city. She was a faithful volunteer at Et Cetera Gift and Thrift Shop in Seward, her church's charity store. In the past, she recorded books for the blind.
Mrs. Stalons was a longtime member of First Mennonite Church.
Visitation: No visitation. Cremation.
Service: Consistent with her wishes, no visitation or funeral will be held.
Memorials: Donations to the church are preferred instead of flowers.
Family Information: Survivors include a sister, Patricia Speece of Burlington, Iowa, and two nephews, Craig Speece of Grand Forks, North Dakota, and Major Grant Speece presently serving as a chaplain in Iraq.
