Bold, strong- willed, quick-witted and fun-loving, she was an avid traveler and skilled craftswoman. Among her many talents she was an accomplished knitter, she loved to crochet and do needlepoint. Her greatest happiness was creating a special project or knitted keepsake for friends and family so that they would have a special and lasting reminder of her.

She crafted countless blankets for shut-ins and people in hospice care as a member of the Morristown Women’s Club. She knitted hundreds of hats for the homeless and donated them to the Dover Soup Kitchen at Trinity Lutheran Church.

She also had a special place in her heart for all animals, especially the wounded and abandoned. She donated food to Noah’s Ark in Ledgewood, regularly as well as taking home “doggie bags” to feed those animals not fortunate enough to find shelter.
