Millicent McBride-Cahall

Millicent, Age 66, of Newark fulfilled her purpose and passed into the arms of angels on April 23, 2008.

Millicent was a unique and outgoing soul who touched and inspired others wherever she went.

She strived to appreciate the beauty in all things and people amid the challenging tides of life, and held strong her faith in God and love.

She identified with the transforming nature of the butterfly and believed what she was meant to be, she was becoming.

A devoted mother, grandmother and homemaker, she worked in the Atlantic City casino industry through the 1980s until settling in the field of home healthcare in the 1990s.

Survived by a large and every-loving family, her spirit will live to smile down on those who believe "Every end is a new beginning."

Millicent was raised in the New Castle area and was a graduate of Wilmington Penn High School.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas and Alberta McBride as well as her brother, Henry.

She is also preceded by her husband, Paul Cahall, who passed in 2007.

Cain, Colin C.

CAMDEN - Colin Carlos Cain, age 62, of Camden, and formerly of Delmar, passed away September 13, 2006 at his brother's home in Camden.

Born in Lakewood, Florida, he was a son of the late Carl Cain and Johnnie Celatka.

Colin proudly served his country in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam Era.

After returning from Vietnam, he worked as a truck driver for many years.

He is survived by a brother, Conrad Cain and his wife Karen, and their children, Justin, Jason, Catlin and Carson; a sister, Delores VonHaven and her husband Ellis, and their children, Cassandra, Josh and Tahnee; a brother, Philip Celatka and his wife Dorothy, and their children, John and Joanna; a brother, Edward Celatka and his wife Elmarie, and their daughter; Rachel Yunk; a sister, Emily Mano and her husband Butch; a brother Frank Celatka and his wife Sally, and their children; Erica, Danielle and Gabrielle; and a brother Kenneth Cain and his wife Deborah, and their children; Denise, Aaron and Zoey.

A funeral service will be held on Monday, September 18, 2006 at 11:30 a.m. at Short Funeral Home, 13 E. Grove Street, Delmar, where family and friends may call from 10:30 to 11:30.

The Reverend Dan Burton will officiate.

Interment with military honors will be held at the Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Millsboro.

Marinelli, Elaine L

ELAINE L. MARINELLI, (Nee Luyber) of Mt. Laurel, NJ passed away on Thursday, Jan. 20, 2011, surrounded by her family.

She was 76.

Born in Roebling, NJ, she is the daughter of the late Alex and Susan Luyber.

A graduate of Florence H.S. where she was the Valedictorian, and Trenton State College, she was a former Teacher in the Delanco School District and has resided in Mt. Laurel for the past 9 years moving here from Burlington Twp., NJ.

Elaine greatly loved her family and especially her grandchildren.

She is the Beloved wife of Richard J. Marinelli Sr. of Mt. Laurel, NJ and the Loving Mother of Richard J. Jr. and his girlfriend Cha of Hainesport, NJ, Thomas E. and his wife Lisa of Freehold, NJ, Kathryn M. Pappas and her husband Andrew of Robbinsville, NJ, Christopher and his wife Susan of Mt. Laurel, NJ and Paul and his wife Theresa of Cinnaminson, NJ.

She is also survived by her Brother Alan Luyber of Beach Haven, NJ, her Sister Lois Green and her husband Al of Warminster, PA and Wilma Worthington and her husband Bill of New Hope, PA, her Grandchildren Alexander, Andrew, Noah, Sarah, Dominic, Marina, Carlie, Luke, and Olivia, her in-laws Marcello and his wife Doris, Adrian and his wife Betty, Clara Harris and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Relatives and friends are invited to greet the family on Friday, Jan. 28th from 6:00 - 9:00 PM at the BRADLEY & STOW FUNERAL HOME, 127 Medford-Mt. Holly Rd., Medford, NJ, (609-953-7600) and on Saturday, Jan. 29th from 10:00 - 11:00 AM at the Fellowship Alliance Chapel, 199 Church Rd., Medford, NJ, where a Celebration of her life will be held on Saturday at 11:00 AM.

Interment will be private and at the convenience of the family.

In lieu of other expressions of sympathy the family requests memorial donations to the Multiple Myeloma Foundation of Phila., P.O. Box 1542, Medford, NJ 08055.

LaRue, Leo E.

LEO E. LaRUE, 85, OF Palermo, NJ, died Wednesday, January 19, 2011, at his home.

He was born in Kentucky and was an area resident for thirty two years.

He was retired from the Avalon Sunoco after twenty five years of service.

He served in the US Navy during World War II and the Coast Guard during the Korean Conflict and was awarded five Purple Hearts and a Silver Star.

He is survived by a daughter, Meredith A. Pascarella and a son, Marshall Hagy; three grandchildren: Justin LaRue, Jason Brendle and Matthew Pascarella; two great grandchildren: Chloe LaRue and Dennis Barnes and his best friend and companion, Clara Thraen.

Services and interment are private.

Memorials may be made to the DAV, 1010 Bayshore Road, Del Haven, NJ 08251.

Newman, Arthur Hames

Coast Guard

Arthur Hames Newman, 88, of Cape May Court House, passed away on Friday, January 21, 2011 at Our Lady's Residence in Pleasantville.

He was born in Philadelphia and was a longtime resident of Cape May Court House.

A Coast Guard Veteran of World War II, he was formerly employed at SuperFresh.

He was a member of Our Lady of the Angels Church and was active in any way that he could help.

He was a longtime member of the Knights of Columbus and a Friend of the Secular Franciscan Order.

Mr. Newman in survived by his sister Mary Ames of California; and many nieces and nephews including Lois Morrison of Villas.

Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, January 25, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. at Our Lady of the Angels Church, 35 East Mechanic Street, Cape May Court House, where visitation will begin at 9:00 a.m.

Interment will be in St. Mary's Cemetery, Cold Spring.

Memorial donations may be made to the Maryland Province Jesuits Fund (MPJF), P.O. Box 64818, Baltimore, MD 21264 or to the family to assist with burial fund.

Kovacs, Stella T.

Kovacs, Stella T., 59, of Cape May Court House, passed away on Friday, January 21, 2011.

Born in Philadelphia, she moved to the Villas when she was 12.

She later worked as a nurse's aide for various nursing homes and waitressed at the Lobster House.

She was predeceased by her husband Francis, her mother Rose Lare and stepfather John Lare.

She is survived by her son Frank of Little Falls; her brothers Frank (Elaine) Schmidt of PA and John (Debbie) Lare of Rio Grande; her sisters Maryann Layton of Villas, Barbara (Bill) Smith of Green Creek, and Laura Kelly of Florida; her granddaughters Kayla and Kylie Kovacs; as well as numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews.

Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, January 29, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. at Radzieta Funeral Home, 9 Hand Ave., Cape May Court House, NJ 08210.

Viewing will begin at 10:00 a.m.

Interment will be at Union Cemetery in South Dennis.

Donations may be made to the American Diabetes Association, 1060 North Kings Highway, Suite 309, Cherry Hill, NJ 08304.

Schwartz, Frances D.

Schwartz, Frances D. - born November 8, 1925 passed away January 21, 2011 at her home. Formerly of South Philadelphia, she resided in North Wildwood with her loving husband of 68 years, Buddy (deceased).

She was the amazing mother of Eileen Simone (John) of Absecon, the late John Schwartz (Norma), Frances Kircher (Paul) of Gibbstown, Robert (Valerie) of Woodbury, Danny of Reno, NV, and Brian of North Wildwood.

Also mourning the loss of their Mom Mom are her 12 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

She is fondly remembered by her sisters Irene Hankins and Evelyn Lampe of Philadelphia as well as many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Services will be announced at a later date.

Leo, Mary Dolores "Dolly"

Mary Dolores "Dolly" Leo, 81, of Swainton, died suddenly on Friday, October 22, 2010 at her home. She was born in Philadelphia, PA and had lived in the Olney Section of Philadelphia prior to moving to Cape May County in 1981.

Dolly was preceded in death by her husband of 29 years, Edward J. Leo, in 1977.

She was a slot supervisor for Trump Marina before retirement.

She enjoyed being with her children and grandchildren as they were her life.

Dolly enjoyed attending her children's church, The Lighthouse Church, reading, baking and playing with the family dogs.

She is survived by her children, Dianne Leo-Webb and husband Niles Webb, Daniel J. Leo, Joseph E. Leo, and Kate Cooper; her brothers, Kenneth (Mary Anne) Krause, Kevin (Nikki) Krause, and Charles "Sonny" Krause; several nieces and nephews; her grandchildren, Andrea (Jack) McDonough; Eddie Moore; Ian, Riley (Annie), Seth, and Max Cooper; and her great grandchildren, Michael, Kayla, and Jacky.

Funeral Mass will be said on Wednesday, October 27, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. at Church of the Resurrection, 200 West Tuckahoe Road, Marmora.

Viewing will be held on Tuesday, October 26 from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. at the Radzieta Funeral Home, 9 Hand Avenue, Cape May Court House and on Wednesday, October 27 from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at the church.

Interment will be private in Beverly National Cemetery.

DePillis, Virginia M.

VIRGINIA M. DePILLIS (Nee Montgomery) passed away peacefully in her sleep surrounded by her friends and loved ones on Tuesday, October 26, 2010.

She was 87 years old.

Born in Phila., PA, July 26, 1923, Virginia was a long time Medford Lakes resident and was loved by her extended family and friends.

Survived by a Brother Harry Montgomery, her sons Russell and Douglas, her grandchildren Chris, David, Russell, Danielle, Alexandra, Stephanie, and great grandchildren Samantha, Sebastian, Rex, and Carlin.

Relatives and friends are invited to her Memorial Service on Wednesday, Oct. 27, 2010 at 1:00 PM in the Medford United Methodist Church, 2 Hartford Rd., Medford, NJ.

Rose, Mary Catharine

Mary Catharine Rose, 83, of Del Haven, passed away on Wednesday, October 6, 2010 at Cape Regional Medical Center.

Born in Wildwood to the late William and Alda (Ewing) Baldwin, she was a lifetime resident of this area.

She was a member of the AVVA (Associates of Vietnam Veterans of America) Chapter 602 and of the auxiliary of the Green Creek Fire Company.

She was an avid Bingo player and taught ceramics at the Vocational School.

She loved to do seek and find puzzles and to sit for hours writing poetry.

Mrs. Rose is survived by her children, William G. Rose of Texas, Sue Ann Wheeler of Goshen, and Catharine Chidley of Cape May Court House; her seven grandchildren; and eleven great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Alfred G. Rose, Jr.; and her son, James A. Rose.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, October 13, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. at the Radzieta Funeral Home, 9 Hand Avenue, Cape May Court House, where viewing will begin at 10:00 a.m. Interment will be in Seaside Cemetery, Palermo.

Bullock Jr., Edward

Edward Bullock Jr., of Millsboro, DE departed this life on October 20, 2010 at the age of 68 at home.

Edward was born April 2, 1942, to the late Edward and Naomi Bullock in Rocky Mount, North Carolina.

Edward came to Delaware in 1967 with his family where he worked at Townsend's for many years.

Edward lived his life to the fullest, never worrying about what tomorrow brings.

He is survived by his Brothers & Sisters: Mildred Bullock of Millsboro, Delaware, Calvin Bullock of Florida Robert Bullock, Ronnie Bullock, Lillie Bullock, Gloria Smiley, Shirley Barker, all of Millsboro, Delaware, Jesse Bullock of Laurel, Delaware, Willie Bullock of Greenwood, Delaware, and Tyrone Bullock of Bridgeville, Delaware. Many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews that love and will miss him very much also survive him.

A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, October 30, 2010 at Watson Funeral Home 211 South Washington Street, Millsboro, Delaware at 1:00 P.M., where friends may call 1 hour prior.

Interment will be private.
