He was a member of the Butler Police Association, the Policemen's Benevolent Association, the Fraternal Order of Police, the Passaic County Detectives Association and the New Jersey Honor Legion of Police. He was a charter member of the Butler Special Entry Rescue Team. He was a state delegate for the Policemen's Benevolent Association and a certified firearms instructor.
