KOCHELL, SANDRA E., 65 - of Cape May Point, and Naples, FL, died Sunday at her home with her family by her side.
Mrs. Kochell was born in Avoca, PA. She lived many years in Hamilton Square, and summered in Cape May Point for 30 years. She recently moved to Naples, FL.
Mrs. Kochell was a teacher for 28 years, retiring from the Lawrenceville Middle School, in Lawrenceville.
She received her Bachelors degree in Education from Mansfield College, and her Masters in Education from Penn State University.
She was a member of Our Lady Star of the Sea Church, Cape May.
She was a member of the NJ Education Association; and the Lawrenceville Education Association.
Mrs. Kochell was a member of the Cape May Point Civic Association.
She was a member of NAMI (National Alliance Mentally Ill), Mercer Chapter.
Mrs. Kochell is survived by her husband of 41 years, I. Robert Kochell; two daughters Suzette Kochell of Trenton, Megan D'Iorio of Chadds Ford, PA; one son Martin Kochell; of Richmond, VA, her mother Helen Cimakasky of Edwardsville, PA; her sister Marie Marino of Barnegat; her brother John B. Cimakasky of Edwardsville, PA; a grandson Ethan Kochell.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Wednesday at 9:30 a.m. in Our Lady Star of the Sea Church, Cape May. There is no viewing. Burial will be on Thursday in SS Peter and Paul cemetery, Avoca, PA.
The family requests any memorials be made to: Holy Redeemer Hospice, 1801 Route 9, Swainton, NJ 08210; or to NAMI-Mercer Chapter, 88 Lakedale Dr., Lawrenceville, NJ 08648.

MORGENWECK, DOROTHY (NEE PARKER), 86 - of Galloway, passed away on Sunday, June 27, 2004. She was born, raised and lived all of her life in Galloway. She was a bookkeeper for K & H Auto of Egg Harbor City. She was a 50 year plus member of the Dewey Chapter, Order of Eastern Star. She is predeceased by her husband, Henry Morgenweck; her brother, Harry Parker, Sr. She Is survived by her nephew, Harry Parker, Jr., sister-in-law, Ellen Parker, both of Galloway. She is also survived by many other relatives and friends. Her viewing will be Wednesday, June 30, 2004 from 1 to 2 p.m. Eastern Star service at 1:30 p.m., followed by Funeral Services at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday at Wimberg Funeral Home, 400 Liverpool Avenue, Egg Harbor City (609-965-0357). Interment will follow at Germania cemetery.

ANGERMAN, HENRY A., 83 - of Egg Harbor City, passed away on Monday, June 28, 2004. He was born, raised, and lived all of his life in Egg Harbor City. He owned Angerman's TV Repair and Service for over 25 years. He formerly worked for TV repair in Atlantic City and New York Ship Yard in Camden. He taught at Atlantic County Vo-Tech. Mr. Angerman served his country honorably during World War II, as a member of the Army Air Corp.
He is predeceased by his wife, Anna Marie Angerman, and son, James Angerman. He is survived by his children, Linda and Edward Dennis of Egg Harbor City, and Sandy and Jim Czerwinski of Egg Harbor City; also surviving are 13 grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, many friends, and neighbors.
His viewings will be 6 to 8 p.m., Thursday, July 1, 2004 and 10 to 11 a.m., Friday, July 2, 2004 at Wimberg Funeral Home, 400 Liverpool Avenue, Egg Harbor City (609-965-0357), where funeral service will begin at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Egg Harbor cemetery.

LaSPINA, FRANK J., (Musician), 77 - of Absecon, passed away June 28, 2004 at Atlantic City Medical Center Mainland Division. Born in Philadelphia, Mr. LaSpina attended South Philadelphia High School, for Boys and had been an area resident for the past 50 years. Before his retirement he had been employed for many years as a salesman by the Boston Shoe Store in Atlantic City. He was a Navy veteran serving during WWII, from 1944 to 1946.
Mr. LaSpina is probably best remembered as a musician, having performed as a drummer and vocalist with several local groups including "Victors" at the Hialeah Club in Atlantic City: the "Angie Merendino Guardsmen" at the Claridge Hotel, the "Tommy Boyd Duo" at the Beachcomber Restaurant and also with the "Ralph Roberts" group for many years.
He is survived by his wife Betty (nee Riggs) of Absecon; his mother Frances LaSpina of Egg Harbor Township, a son Michael and wife Pamela and grandchildren Alicia and Megan of Somers Point. Also his brother Carman of Dallas, Texas; his brother Alfred and wife Anita of Voorhees, and his sister Ida Cellucci and husband Angelo of Newtown Square, Pennsylvania; as well as many nephews, nieces, and friends, especially the many he had made at the Bacharach Cardiac Rehabilita-tion Center. He also leaves behind Nellie, his beloved pet and walking companion.
A funeral Mass will be held at the Elizabeth Ann Seton Roman Catholic Church, New Jersey Ave., and Mills Rd. In Absecon Thursday at 10 a.m. Burial services will follow at Laurel Memorial Park in Pomona. Family and friends may call on Thursday from 8:30 a.m. until time of Mass. Arrangements by Parsels Funeral Home, Absecon.

BROPHY, CLARA A., 97 - of Somers Point, died Friday at Ocean Point Nursing Home in Somers Point. Area resident for 14 years and was born in Phila., PA.
Survived by one daughter Joan Hager; four grandsons Michael, Robert, Mark and Gary and seven great grandchildren. Service 9:45 a.m. Wednesday morning at the Middleton Stroble and Zale Funeral Home, 304 Shore Rd, Somers Point. Burial Holy Sepulcher cemetery, Phila., PA. Friends may call after 9 a.m. Wednesday morning at the Funeral Home.

ACCOGLIO, JOSEPH J., 99 - of Fairfield Township, passed away on Sunday afternoon at home where he had been under the care of family & hospice. Mr. Accoglio was born in Brooklyn, NY and was a longtime resident of Williamstown, prior to moving to CA in 1978 where he had resided until returning to NJ in 1991. He was the oldest of seven children born to the late Ludivigo & Johanna (Bruno) Accoglio.
Before retiring, Joe was employed as an Oil Burner Technician for Tony Williams Oil Co. in Williamstown for many years. He enjoyed coin collecting, watching T.V. game shows, working & tinkering with things about the house & telling jokes. He was a longtime member of the St. Mary's R.C. Church, Williamstown, & a charter member of the V.I.P. retiree club in CA.
He is survived by one daughter & son in law with whom he resided, Carole & Henry Hill, Fairfield Township; one son: Joseph L. Accoglio, Hesperia, CA; one sister: Jennie D'Amore, Berlin; eight grandchildren, eight great grandchildren & one great great grandchild. He was predeceased by his wife, Gertrude (Char) Accoglio in 2003 as well as a great granddaughter, Tania Mokienko, four brothers, Larry, Dewey, Tony, Cosmo and one sister, Carrie.
His funeral liturgy will be celebrated on Wednesday at 11 AM in the St. John Bosco, RC Church, #2 Hillcrest Ave., Millville, where relatives & friends will be received from 10:00-11:00 AM. Burial will be in the St. Mary's cemetery, Williamstown. For those who wish, memorial contributions may be made to the St. John Bosco R.C. Church, #2 Hillcrest Ave., Millville, NJ 08332. Arrangements are by the Pancoast Funeral Home, Vineland.

PENNINO, JAMES A., 60 - of Vineland, passed away Monday, June 28. A Funeral Liturgy will be held Thursday 10am, St. Isidore The Farmer Church, 1655 Magnolia Rd, Vineland. Visitation Wednesday 7-9pm and Thursday 8:15-9:15am at the funeral home. Rone Funeral Service, 1110 E Chestnut Ave, Vineland

POLHAMUS, EARL, 79 - of Leesburg, died Sunday in Millville Center Genesis Elder Care. Born in Millville he was the son of the late Earl T. and Estella Parr Polhamus and the husband of the late Kathleen Stadler Polhamus. Mr. Polhamus was born in Millville and was a lifetime resident of Leesburg.
Mr. Polhamus was a World War II U.S. Navy Veteran. He worked at the Del Bay Ship Yard, Whitehead Bros. Ship Yard and Dorchester Ship Yard. He was a member of the Belleplain VFW.
Surviving are his sons, Earl W. and Lewis J. both of Millville, Robert C. of Leesburg; daughters, Kathleen Peterson of Heislerville, Diana L. Mammi of Pullman, WV, and Ellen M. Cossaboon of Vineland; sisters, Helen Slaney of Port Norris, Martha Majek of Pittsgrove, Leah Burrows of Cape May Court House, and Carol Toms of TN; 13 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.
Funeral Services will be held at the Hoffman Funeral Homes, 643 Main St., Leesburg on Friday at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Frank Ip-polito officiating. Interment will be in Leesburg cemetery. Viewing will be held Thursday evening from 7:00 to 8:30 p.m. and Friday from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m.

COSULICH, JOHN, "JACK", 82 - of Absecon, died Monday, June 28, 2004 at his home. He was born in Newark, was a resident of Upper Montclair for 30 years before moving to the Villas and then to Absecon for the past ten years. He was a graduate of Fordham University and he retired in 1984 from New York Medical College where he was the Director of Affiliations. He was a Veteran of the Army serving during WWII with the 749th AAA Gun Battalion Medical Detachment in Iceland and Germany. He was a member of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church in Absecon where he served in the Comfort Ministry. An active member of the St. Leo's Fraternity of the Franciscan Third Order serving as minister and treasure and a member of the Knights of Columbus. He was predeceased by son Joseph P. and a brother Joseph Y. He is survived by his wife of 57 years Phyllis; his sons, John, Jr., James, Jeffrey, and Jerome and daughters Mimi Deleener and Margaret Marshall; 13 grandchildren; a brother, William and two sisters, Marie Gormley and Evelyn Harrison. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, July 2, 2004 at 10:00 am at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church in Absecon with burial to follow in Mount Calvary cemetery in Neptune. Friends may visit on Thursday from 7-9 pm at Parsels Funeral Home, 324 New Jersey Ave. Absecon, and on Friday morning from 9:00 am until the time of the Mass at St. Elizabeth Church. 591 New Jersey Ave. Absecon 08201. Donations in his memory may be made to St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church.

HEADRICK, FRANCES D., 73 - of Philadelphia, formerly of Rio Grande and North East Phila. died on June 26 at Nazareth Hosp. Phila., PA. Born in Upper Darby PA, Mrs. Headrick is survived by four sons, Rodger J. of Fair Lawn, Joseph M. of Wildwood, Harry J. of Erma and William D. Two daughters Nancy Murray and Frances D. Harkin both of Pitman. Twenty two grandchildren and seventeen great grandchildren. Also survived by a sister Sally Vernon of North Cape May. Frances was preceded in death by her husband Rodger and one son John. Memorial funeral service will be held July 15, at 10:00 a.m. at Evoy Funeral Home, 3218 Bayshore Rd., North Cape May.

WEISS, MINERVA C., (nee MATTSON) 86 - of Deerfield Township, died late Sunday evening June 27, 2004 at The Cumberland Manor in Hopewell Township where she had been a resident for the last year. Predeceased by her husband of nearly 60 years, Joseph F. Weiss, in 1999, she was born in Bridgeton and was a lifelong area resident. Mrs. Weiss had lived at her current since the 1 940's. She was the daughter of the late Earl and Jennie Decker Mattson.
Mrs. Weiss had been a homemaker for most of her life, taking pride in raising her children. She worked several years ago before her marriage at the M.C. Schrank Company in Bridgeton and later at Owens-Illinois Glass Company in Bridgeton. She also worked at a refreshment stand at Cowtown and delivering The Bridgeton News.
She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Bridgeton and she liked to crochet and make her own clothes. She and her husband enjoyed camping.
Survivors include a daughter, Beverly Weiss of Deerfield Township, two sons, Joseph F. Weiss III and Donald Weiss both of Deerfield Township, five grandchildren, seven great grandchildren and one great great granddaughter. She is also survived by one brother, Royal Mattson of Bridgeton, two sisters, Beulah Riley of Bridgeton and Virginia Pace of Laurel Lake and several nieces and nephews. A son, Wayne Weiss, predeceased her in 1989 and she was also predeceased by a bother, Lewis Mattson and a sister, Gladys Burlingame.
Funeral services will be held Friday afternoon July 2nd at 1 o'clock at the Freitag Funeral Home, 137 W. Commerce St., Bridgeton. Pastor Elizabeth Mitchell of the First United Methodist Church in Bridgeton will officiate. The interment will take place at Laurel Lawn cemetery in Upper Deerfield Township. Friends will be received at the funeral home Friday afternoon one hour prior to the services.

GILES, III, JAMES, 52 - of Cape May Court House, and formerly of Atlantic City and Bridgeton died Thursday morning June 24, 2004 at Burdette Tomlin Memorial Hospital in Cape May Court House. He had been in declining health for the last two years.
The son of James Giles Jr. of Fairton and the late Elizabeth "Libby' Anne (nee Munsey) Giles, he was born in New Bedford, Massachusetts and was raised in Bridgeton. He graduated in 1970 from Bridgeton High School and attended Cumberland County College and Glassboro State College (Rowan). Jim served in the US Air Force during the Vietnam Era and was awarded the National Defense Medal and the Vietnam Service Medal.
He was last employed by St. James Associates in Atlantic City at the St. James Hotel.
Survivors include three sons, James Brandon Giles and his wife Lori, Matthew Layton Giles and Andrew Giles, his former wife, Jackie Heisroth Giles, one granddaughter, Christine Giles, three sisters, Lynda Jane Gibbs and her husband Philip, Karyn Anne Reiera Tur and her husband Anthony and Beth Williams and her husband Jonathan, two brothers, Jeffries Collins Giles and Jay Stuart Giles and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be private and at the convenience of the family and the interment will take place at Fernwood Memorial Park in Hopewell Township.
Memorial contributions are suggested to the charity of the donor's choice.
Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Freitag Funeral Home, 137 W. Commerce St., Bridgeton.

COX, BELFORD CARLTON 92 - of Winter Haven, FL, was called home to be with the Lord on June 27, 2004. The son of the late Milton and Teresa (Lee) Cox, he was born in Millville February 29, 1912. He was predeceased by his loving wife Florence May Tomlin, to whom he was married for 70 years. He resided in Port Elizabeth from 1929 to 1965, where he built and operated the B.C. Cox Lumber Company. A contractor by trade he built twelve homes in Port Elizabeth, the Port Elizabeth Iron Foundry, the main office building of Stowman's Shipyard in Dorchester, two additions to the original Port Elizabeth Nazarene Church. In his retirement he built eighteen homes in Jensen Beach, Florida, where be resided for 30 years. He owned a cottage at South Seaville Camp Meeting and attended for 92 consecutive years. He was the Business Manager of the camp for 32 years and a member of the Board of Directors for many years. His many duties included working with youth groups, daily operations of the business office, maintenance of the facilities, and instrumental in having a youth center built on the grounds. He was a soloist and directed the choir at the camp for many years. In his youth, he managed and played with The Maurice River Township Hawk's baseball team, in the old Oyster League. He was a member of the Port Church of the Nazarene and also a Board Member, he wrote and published the hymn "I Owe My Life to Jesus" that was copyrighted.
He is survived by his two sons, Lawrence Howard Cox of Panama City, FL and Belford Lee Cox, Sr. formerly of Port Elizabeth, now residing in Winter Haven, FL; nine grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; and three great grandchildren.
A viewing will be held at the Port Elizabeth Church of the Nazarene on Friday, July 2, from 7:00 to 9:00 PM. A service will be held at the church on Saturday July 3, at 10:00 AM with interment following at Greenwood Memorial Park In Millville.
Memorial donations may be made to South Jersey Healthcare HospiceCare, 2848 S. Delsea Dr. Vineland, 08360.
Arrangements are being handled by Hoffman Funeral Homes Port Norris & Leesburg.
