ALICE M. HALASEK (nee Thomas) of Medford, NJ, passed away on Saturday August 4th, 2007 at the Medford Care Center in Medford, NJ. She was 83 yrs. of age. Born in Phila., PA, she is a former resident of Marlton, NJ where she lived for 50 yrs. and is one of the original residents of the Georgetown section of Heritage Village. She is the daughter of the late George and Elizabeth Thomas and the wife of the late Richard J. Halasek Sr. She is a former member of the Marlton Sr. Citizens Club. Alice is the Beloved mother of Richard J. Halasek Jr. and his wife Janet of Sea Isle City, NJ. Relatives and friends are invited to her service on Wednesday, Aug. 15th at 11:30 AM in the Chapel at the B.G. Wm. Doyle Veterans Memorial cemetery in Arneytown, NJ. Funeral arrangements are by the BRADLEY & STOW FUNERAL HOME, Medford, NJ, (609-953-7600). In lieu of other expressions of sympathy the family requests memorial donations in her memory to your favorite charity.

Halbe, Regina A.

Halbe, Regina A., 86, of Avalon, NJ, passed away on Tuesday, January 9, 2007 at Burdette Tomlin Memorial Hospital, Cape May Court House, NJ. Born in Haddonfield, NJ to the late Byron and Anna (Grunn) Packer, she summered here all of her life before moving here permanently from Cherry Hill, NJ in 1972. She was a member of Maris Stella Church and the Avalon Senior's Club. She was also very involved in activities at the Avalon Community Center.

Mrs. Halbe is survived by her son, John Halbe and his wife, Linda of Moorestown, NJ; her two daughters, Eileen Halbe of Haddon Heights, NJ and Janet Halbe of Haddon Township, NJ; her son-in-law, Conrad Faber of Atlanta, GA; and her three grandchildren, Amber Glatzer, Zachary Faber, and Larissa Faber. She was preceded in death by her husband, John A. Halbe, Jr. in 1985 and her daughter, Michele Faber in 1994.

Memorial Mass will be said on Saturday, January 20, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. at Maris Stella Church, 50th Street and Dune Drive, Avalon, NJ. Interment will be private. Memorial donations may be made to The ALS Association, Greater Philadelphia Chapter, 321 Norristown Road, Suite 260, Ambler, PA 19002.

HALE, Charles N.

On April 10, 2004 of Port Charlotte, Florida, formerly of Voorhees and Haddonfield. Age 77. Awesome Dad of Michelle Schettler of Voorhees, Susan Glasbrenner and her husband David of Wellsboro, PA, Sandra Hale of Venice, Florida and Karen Purcaro and her husband Chris of Haddonfield. Devoted grandfather of Charlie and Ashley Schettler, Robert and Katherine Sapio, David Glasbrenner, Jr, Jacob Glasbrenner, and Sean and Patrick Purcaro. Dear brother of James E. Hale and his wife Rebecca of Berlin, Robert E. Hale and his wife Jean of West Hartford, CT, John T. Hale and his wife Thelma of Rocky Mount, NC, Frank G. Hale and his wife Mary Ann of Farmington, MO,and Lucille R. Thorbahn of Lansdale, PA. Son of the late William J. and Grace M. Hale and brother of the late William N. Hale. Mr. Hale served in the Navy during World War II and in the Marine Corps during the Korean War. He was a member of the Trimble Lodge #117 Free and Accepted Masons and of the Loyal Order of Moose Lodge#764 in North Port, FL. He served as a New Jersey State Trooper beginning in 1955 and retiring as a SFC in 1980. In his retirement, he worked for the Division of Gaming Enforcement. Relatives and friends are invited to the viewing 6-9pm Wednesday at the BRADLEY FUNERAL HOME, Rt 73 & Evesham Rd., Marlton. There will be a Service at 8pm on Wednesday, during the viewing. SURVIVORS: Survived by her beloved husband Harold A. Haley; Two Sons: Bill (Rebecca) Haley of Chadds Ford, PA and Dr. David (Wendy) Haley of Chadds Ford, PA; Also dear grandmother of Ava Haley.

SERVICE INFORMATION: Friends may call after 4:00 p.m. Friday at the Minshall-Shropshire-Bleyler Funeral Home, Middletown (Rte#352) & Knowlton Roads, Middletown Twp., Media, PA. A Memorial Service will be held there at 5:30 p.m. Interment in Calvary Episcopal Church cemetery is private.

HALL, GEORGE A., JR., suddenly on December 15, 2009, of Marlton, NJ. Formerly of Fishtown. Age 64. Son of the late George A. Hall and Michaelina (nee Russi). Beloved husband of Lisa (nee Sweeney). Loving father of Christine Warren, George A. Hall III, Irene Hall, and Peter Hall. Grandfather of Victoria and Alexandra Warren, and George IV and Patricia Hall. Also survived by his brother and sister, Frank Hall and Florence Hall. Predeceased by his Uncle and Aunt, Pete and Faye Tenuto. George was a veteran of the US Marine Corp., who proudly served his country during the Vietnam War. Hall, Helen

Helen Hall, 81, of Cape May Court House and Linwood, passed away on Wednesday, July 09, 2003 in Cape May Court House. Helen lived in Garden Lake Park for 20 years with her husband of 61 years, Walt (Wimpy) Hall, who predeceased her July 2002. Everyone who knew her loved her for her beautiful and caring ways. Helen never had a bad thing to say to anyone. She found the goodness in people. She has touched many lives with the love she was always willing to give.

Surviving is her heartbroken best friend and daughter, Sandra Hall of Linwood; all her "so called adopted daughters", who were always there for her, Margaret Hemlock, Paula Selbach, Mary Lubin, Carol Lipkin, and Joyce Sabat, both of Florida; Dr. Bob and Tema Schwab, Mike and Susie Voll, who's constant support she always had; her Easter Seals Rio Site "Daughters", Ky Jackson, Debbie Perkins, Ann Marie Whitlock, Dawn Kaufmann, Nancy Danielson, Patty Mitchell, Julia Gorecke, who always took care of her, making sure she had her snacks when she returned from Day Care. Helen has won the race and can now be at peace.

Memorial gathering will be held on Monday, July 14, 2003 from 11:00 to 12:00 at the Radzieta Funeral Home, 9 Hand Avenue, Cape May Court House. Interment will be private.

Hall, Anne M.

HALL, Anne M. (nee Wells) on November 18, 2006, of Lake Wales FL, formerly of Marlton NJ. Age 69. Beloved wife of Kenneth Hall. Loving mother of David Knott and his wife, Regina and Jennifer Elliott and loving grandmother of Katrina, Cassandra, Elizabeth, Kathrine and the late Benjamin. Dear sister of Viriginia Smith. A graduate of Haddonfield High School, Mrs. Hall was employed with PSE&G, Moorestown for over 25 years. She was a member of the Marlton Fire Comp. Ladies Auxiliary and Burlington County Fireman's Ladies Auxiliary. Relatives and friends are invited to the viewing Friday from 7-9pm and Saturday 9-10am at the Bradley Funeral Home Rt. 73 and Evesham Rd. Hall, Madie Lee

Madie Lee Hall, 59, of Whitesboro, passed away on Thursday, October 11, 2007 at Cape Regional Medical Center. Born in Swainsboro, GA, she moved here in 1979 from Philadelphia. She was formerly employed at the Lutheran Home of Ocean View. She loved reading and soap operas.

She is survived by her mother, Madie Jennings of Ocala, FL; her sons, Frank L. Hall, Sr. and his wife, Lisa, LyVell Hall, Sr. and his wife, Lany, LyDell Hall, Victor Hall and his wife, Jackie, and Jerry Conner; her daughter, Tammy Hall; her stepsons, Michael Wing and Keithy Wing; her stepdaughter, Kim Bennet; her brothers, Alfonso Hall, Sr. and his wife, Lisha, Abraham Johnson and his wife, Cassandra, and Carlton Hall, Jr.; her sisters, Cherrie Johnson, Christine Johnson and her husband, John E. Johnson, Rosemary Hall Perry and her husband, James Perry, and Gloria Jean King; and her ten grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her father, Carlton Hall and her sister, Marian Hall.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, October 19, 2007 at 12:00 p.m. at First Baptist Church, Route 9 and Main Street, Whitesboro, where the viewing will begin at 10:00 a.m. Interment will be in Household of Ruth cemetery, Whitesboro.

Hall, Helen M.

Helen M. Hall, 88, of Cape May Court House, died on Friday, December 28, 2001 at Burdette Tomlin Memorial Hospital, Cape May Court House. She was born in Philadelphia and moved to Cape May County in the 1950's from Riverton, NJ. She was a member of Our Lady of the Angels Church.

Mrs. Hall is survived by her son, William H. Watson, Sr. and his wife, Anna of Cape May Court House; her daughters, Dorothy Lee Johnson of Burlington, and Joan Chatham and her husband, Tom of Vero Beach, FL; and her two grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her grandson, William H. Watson, Jr. on November 29, 2001.

Graveside funeral services will be held on Monday, December 31, at 11:00 a.m. at the Tabernacle Methodist cemetery, Erma. Memorial donations may be made to the Lutheran Home, 2721 Route 9, Ocean View, NJ 08230.

Hall, Walter "Wimpy" E.

Walter "Wimpy" E. Hall, 81, of Cape May Court House, died on Tuesday, July 23, 2002 at his home. He was born in Camden, NJ and lived in Berlin, NJ before moving here 20 years ago. He was an Army Veteran of World War II, and was a POW in Germany. He was a member of the Wildwood Post #184 of the American Legion. He was a member and past president of the Berlin Fire Company, and vice president of the Berlin Township Public Schools.

"Wimpy" was a well known figure in Middle Township as the supervisor of the Clean Communities Program driving the Wimpymobile throughout the Township.

He is survived by his wife, Helen Osinski, who he married on August 2, 1940, and a loving daughter, Sandra.

Funeral Services will be held on Friday, July 26, 2002, at 11:00 AM at the Radzieta Funeral Home, 9 Hand Av., Cape May Court House, NJ where friends may call at 10:00 AM. Interment will be in the Cape May County Veterans cemetery. Memorials may be sent to the Easter Seals, Village Shops of Rio Grande, Rte. 47, Unit 2, Rio Grande, NJ 08242.

HALL, James W., III

Suddenly on September 3, 2008. Of Plainsboro, formerly of Marlton. Age 37. Beloved son of Regina Hall and the late James W. Hall, Jr. Loving brother of Regina Kane and brother-in-law of Randle. Dear uncle of Victoria and Brendan. James received his Bachelor's degree from Rutgers University in Camden and his Master's from Jefferson University in Phila. He was a research scientist at Pharmacopeia in Cranbury, NJ. Relatives and friends are invited to the Mass of Christian Burial 10:30am Monday at St Joan of Arc Church, 100 Willow Bend Rd., Marlton, NJ 08053. Friends may greet the family following Mass. Interment will be private.

Hallett, George J.

George J. Hallett, 86, passed away peacefully at home in Cape May Court House, New Jersey on New Years Day surrounded by his loving family. George never lost his affection for his South Philadelphia neighborhood, Second and Carpenter. George began working at an early age before signing up for the Navy after the attack on Pearl Harbor. He served with great distinction, earning the Medals for Philippine Independence, European African Middle Eastern Campaign, Asiatic Pacific Campaign, American Campaign, World War II Service Medal, and the Medal of Liberty. Like many of the Greatest Generation, he wore his service and patriotism with great honor, humility, and grace. In 1944, he married Marie Cullen and moved to the Swampoodle section of Philadelphia where he worked at Freihofher's Bakery, Duchovny and Sons, and Dick Crean's Clothing Store. During these years, the family began frequenting the Wildwoods, moving there in 1964. George was active in the Knights of Columbus and became a North Wildwood Republican Committeeman while working at the Cape May Lewes Ferry before finding his ideal job, bartending. He tended bar at some of the best Wildwood niteries, the Grenoble (now Neil's Steak House), Johnny's, the Mid-Town Lounge, Club 18, and eventually for his old friend, Cozy Morley at the Club Avalon. His total recall, flair, and genuine love of people made him the warmest and funniest bartender on the island, developing his own following. He loved cigars, casinos, working, and anything or anyone connected to his four children. He never forgot a joke, name, or what they drank!

His wife, Marie, died in 1986.

George was a devoted and wonderful Dad, loyal brother, fun co-worker, and a great guy to be around who will be missed by his shipmates, friends, and children, Eileen Walsh, of Rio Grande, George Jr. of North Wildwood, Jack, of New York City, and Jim, of Panama City, Florida as well as his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Funeral Mass will be said on Saturday, January 5, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Ann's Church, 2900 Atlantic Avenue, Wildwood. A viewing will be held on Friday, January 4, 2008 from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. at the Radzieta Funeral Home, 9 Hand Avenue, Cape May Court House. Interment will be in the Cape May County Veterans cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to Holy Redeemer Visiting Nurses Agency, 1801 Route 9 North, Swainton, NJ 08210.

Halley, James B.

James B. Halley went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, August 18, 2001 at his home in Southampton, NJ. He was 61 years of age. Born in NYC, NY he resided in Southampton for the past 24 years moving there from Delran, NJ. A Sr. Systems Analyst for Data Systems in Pennsauken, NJ he worked there for 24 years until 1995 when he left due to health. A graduate of the University of Mississippi he was an avid pilot and flew out of Red Lion Airport. He is the beloved husband of Ethel A. (Nee Lawrence) Halley. Also survived by his children Erin A., James L. & Lauren E. all at home and Tonicha Voight of Medford Lakes, NJ, Wallace J. Halley of Kissimee, FL and Jena Parks of MS, his Granddaughter Brittany Voight of Medford Lakes, NJ, his Aunt Ida Hansler of Levittown, NY, his Uncle Vincent Halley of VA, 7 brother-in-laws, 7 sister-in-laws and a host of relatives and friends. Relatives and friends are invited to greet the family on Thursday from 3:00 - 4:00 PM at the BRADLEY & STOW FUNERAL HOME 127 Medford-Mt. Holly Rd.(Rt. 541) Medford, NJ (609-953-7600), where a Memorial Service will be held at 4:00 PM on Thursday. Interment will be private and at the convenience of the family. Halligan Sr., Francis 'Jake'

HALLIGAN, On July 31, 2002, Francis 'Jake' Sr. of Cinnaminson and New Smyrna Beach FL. Age 71. Beloved husband of Joan Halligan (nee Ryan). Loving father of Francis Halligan Jr. (Debbie) of Audubon, Terri Hartner (Joe) of Marlton and Karen Cullen (Michael) of Delran. He is also survived by 1 brother, Timothy Halligan of Ardmore PA, 6 grandchildren, Jennifer (Lance), Brian, Matthew, Annemarie, Ian and Haley and 1 great granddaughter, Emma Rose. Mr. Halligan was a veteran of the US Air Force. He was a truck driver for Signal Delivery Comp., Phila. retiring 12 years ago. Halpecka, Renee

RENEE HALPECKA (Nee White) went home to be with the Lord on Friday, March 18, 2005 at her home in Tabernacle, NJ. She was 86 years of age. Born in Malvern, PA, she has resided in Tabernacle for many years. She loved the outdoors and all wildlife. She dedicated her life to the care of God's creatures. She is the wife of the late Paul O. Halpecka and will be deeply missed by her loving friends Rosemary Walsh, Brenda Hedrick and Andrea Price. Relatives and friends are invite to a Memorial Service on Wednesday at 2:00 PM at the BRADLEY & STOW FUNERAL HOME, 127 Medford-Mt. Holly Rd. Medford, NJ, (609-953-7600). Interment will follow in the Jr. Mechanic's cemetery in Tabernacle, NJ.

Halpecka, Paul O.

Paul O. Halpecka of Tabernacle, NJ, died suddenly on Tuesday, October 9, 2001 at the Cooper Medical Center in Camden, NJ. He was 88 years of age. Born in the Bronx, NY he has lived in Tabernacle, NJ most of his life. A veterans of the US Army Air Force serving with the 3704th Army Air Force Base Unit, after he served his country he went to work for a short time with a Stock Broker on the NY Stock Exchange. After moving to Tabernacle, NJ he went to work for the Fort Dix Army Base in Fort Dix, NJ with the Water Department. He is survived by his beloved wife Renee (Nee Bastic) Halpecka of Tabernacle, NJ. Funeral Services are private and at the convenience of the family. Funeral arrangements are by the BRADLEY & STOW FUNERAL HOME 127 Medford-Mt. Holly Rd. (Rt. 541) Medford, NJ (609-953-7600). Interment was in the B.G. William Doyle Veterans Memorial cemetery in Arneytown, NJ.

Halter, Richard P.

Richard P. Halter, 46, of Wildwood, passed away on Friday, February 27, 2009 at his home. Born in Philadelphia, PA, he moved here 20 years ago from Philadelphia. He formerly was a commercial fisherman. He is survived by his mother, Gayle Garrow (Jim); his father, Elwood Halter; his sister, Karen Martin; and his companion, Linda King. Funeral services will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Volunteers In Medicine of Cape May County, 423 Route 9 North, Cape May Court House, NJ 08210.

Hamann, Ruth H.

Ruth H. Hamann, 78, of Cape May Court House, NJ, died on Monday, January 28, 2002, at Burdette Tomlin Memorial Hospital. She was born in Newfield, NJ, and lived here for the past 55 years. She was the owner of the Sunseet Restaurant in Villas, NJ for 22 years and Hamann's Family Fare in Cape May Court House for 6 years. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church here; she was an active 4-H Leader being involved because her children were involved in 4-H. She was also active in the Scouts while her children were also involved in scouting. She enjoyed being involved in many of her children's activities whether it was making costumes for plays or caring for horses. She also catered the meals for the Cape May Court House Kiwanis Club when it held its meetings at the Baptist Church Fellowship Hall. In her younger years, whe worked for the Camden Shipbuilding Company as a welder and worked in the construction of the Battleship New Jersey.

She is survived by these children: Ronald M., Kenneth D., Glada R. Golley, Bonnie L. Hamann, Betty McGurk, Kathy J. Hamann, all of Cape May Court House, and John W. of Eldora, NJ; 13 grandchildren; 4 Great Grandchildren; and her aunt who raised her: Leona Tank of Cape May Court House.

Funeral Services will be held of Thursday, Jan. 31, 2002, at 11:30 AM at the Radzieta Funeral Home, 9 Hand Av., Cape May Court House, NJ, where friends may call Wednesday 7:00 to 9:00 PM and Thursday 10:30 to 11:30 AM. Interment will be in the Baptist cemetery, Cape May Court House. Memorials may be made to a favorite charity of one's choice as Mrs. Hamann had her favorites.
