MACALUSO, on November 9, 2002, VIRGINIA ROSE (nee Valenti) of Atco, NJ. Age 89. Beloved wife of the late Michael J. Loving mother of Michael A. Macaluso and his wife Carol of Moorestown, NJ. Sister of Joseph Valenti of Atco, NJ. Charles Valenti of Pennsauken, NJ, and Anna Pietrobono of Stratford, NJ. Predeceased by 4 brothers, Frank, Peter, Samuel, and Angelo Valenti. Virginia is also survived by her 2 grandchildren, Kimberly Hovatter and Michael A. Macaluso, Jr., 6 great grandchildren, Alexandra, Nicole, Adrienne, Samantha, Michael John and Abigail, and many beloved nieces and nephews. Macaluso, Jr., Russell J.

Russell James Macaluso, Jr., age 71 of Oceanport, died Tuesday, August 24 at Monmouth Medical Center, Long Branch. He was a 1951 graduate of Wood-Ridge High School where he earned varsity letters in football, baseball, and basketball. Following high school, he enlisted in the United States Navy and was chosen honor man of his class. He graduated from Montclair State University in 1959 with a bachelor's degree and later in 1962 a master's degree in mathematics. Again he lettered in three sports; this time, football, baseball, and golf.

He was a founding staff member of Monmouth Regional High School where he proudly served for 33 years as a math teacher, later as a guidance counselor and finally as Director of Pupil Personnel. As Monmouth's first baseball coach, he has the distinction of having built the first baseball field which still exists today. He brought many teams to victory and was recently honored by his 1963-65 baseball teams at his 71st birthday. Russell's sports career included his 28 years as a member of NJSIAA while refereeing basketball throughout Monmouth County.

As a member of the Monmouth Regional faculty, he served as president of the MREA where he advocated for the varied needs of the staff members for 13 years. Later as an administrator he was selected president of the Guidance Directors of Monmouth County.

Born in Oradell, he had lived in Red Bank before coming to Oceanport 5 years ago. Russ loved baseball and was a passionate fan of the New York Yankees. In addition to baseball, he loved golf and was a member of Old Orchard Country Club for 27 years.

He was predeceased by his daughter, MaryEllen Macaluso and his parents Russell and Rose Macaluso. He is survived by his wife, Diana Beronio Macaluso; son and daughter-in-law, Timothy and Anita Macaluso; 2 grandsons, TJ and Tony all of Monmouth Beach; stepson, Christopher Beronio of Little Silver; step-daughter and son-in-law Joan and Kenneth Szeligowski of Long Branch; former wife Carolanne Macaluso of West Long Branch; his brother James of Delray Beach, FL; and his sister Lenore Main of San Jose, CA.

Relatives and friends may call at the Damiano Funeral Home, 191 Franklin Ave., corner of Third Ave., Long Branch, on Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Funeral Saturday, 9:30 am from the funeral home followed by a 11 am Mass at the Church of the Nativity, Fair Haven. Interment will be at Woodbine cemetery, Oceanport. MacBride, Miriam Sarah

MAC BRIDE, MIRIAM SARAH (nee RICKER) on November 7, 2006 of Cherry Hill formerly of Maple Shade and Englewood, FL. Age 91. Beloved wife of the late Donald. Devoted mother of the late Lynn Allison MacBride and Donna Lorene Foley. Loving grandmother of 3 granddaughters DeAnna Fabricius, Lauren Neidert and Taryn Gillison and great grandmother of Julianna, Austin, Allison, Rebecca and Liam. Mrs. MacBride was a member and very involved in the 4H Club and enjoyed painting and pottery. Relatives and friends are invited to the visitation on Friday from 10-11 AM at the Bradley Funeral Home, Rt. 73 South & Evesham Rd in Marlton. MacBride, George "Bud"

George "Bud" MacBride, 89, of Villas, NJ, died on Tuesday, February 4, 2003, at the Burdette Tomlin Memorial Hospital, Cape May Court House, NJ. He was born in Philadelphia, PA, and lived here since 1975. He was a Navy Veteran of World War II, and was a member of the American Legion in Philadelphia. He was a retired bus driver for SEPTA.

He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Rita nee Chelius; daughter: Rita Dembeck and her husband, Joe, of Philadelphia; son: George F. "Bud" and his wife, Darlene, of River Falls, WI; sister: Ruth Botar of Philadelphia; grandchildren: Melissa, Amy, Jason, Laura, and Katie; great grandchildren: Chloe and Violet.

A funeral service will by said on Friday, February 7, 2003, at 10:15 AM at St. Raymond's Church, Bayshore Rd., Villas, NJ, where friends may call 9:45 to 10:15 AM. Interment will be in Our Lady of Grace cemetery, Langhorne, PA.

MacCarthy, Margot Frances

Margot Frances Downes MacCarthy, age 93, a former resident of Clermont, NJ, died on Saturday, April 19, 2008, at the Beebe Hospital, Delaware.

She was born in Staten Island, the daughter of the late Otto and Sophie Schmidt Schlender.

She is survived by her daughter, Cynthia D. Taylor and her husband, Henry, of Bridgetport, Ct.; and a son, Kenneth L. Downes, of Anchorage, Alaska; four grandchildren: David and Douglas Downes and Donna Jackson and Susan Doran; six great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews including Holly Schlender of Goshen, NJ. She was preceded in death by her husband, Harry E. Downes in 1978.

A viewing will be held on Tuesday, April 22, 2008, at the Radzieta Funeral Home, 9 Hand Avenue, Cape May Court House, NJ from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 Noon followed by a graveside service at the Asbury Methodist cemetery, Route 9, Swainton, NJ.

MACDONALD, BRUCE ALEXANDER

Age 31, died suddenly on Oct. 20, 2001 at Kennedy Memorial Hospital, Stratford. Bruce was born in Camden, he lived most of his life in Blackwood, moving to Lindenwold 4 years ago. Bruce worked for Super G in Chews Landing. He was a member of Local 222 Laborer Union in Camden. He was a 1988 graduate of Highland High School. He is survived by his mother Joan (nee Przywara) of Lindenwold, brother Danny of Pine Hill, his sister Joan Heck of Glendora, his companion Joanne Bond of Blackwood, his newborn son Joseph Anthony Bond-MacDonald. A memorial service will be held 7PM Monday at the BELL-HENNESSY FUNERAL HOME, 420 South Main Street, Williamstown, where relatives and friends may call 1 hour prior. Interment private. MacDonald, Jeanne K.

Jeanne K. MacDonald, of Medford Lakes, NJ went home to be with the Lord on Monday, June 18th, 2007 at the Marcella Center in Burlington, NJ. She was 79. Born in Cambridge, MA, she was the daughter of the late Leonard & Jennie Francoeur and was a long time resident of Medford Lakes. A graduate of Regis College in Waltham, MA, Jeanne was a Teacher at Holy Cross H.S. in Delran for 17 yrs. until her retirement in 1990. An active member of St. Mary of the Lakes Church, she was a Eucharistic Minister, and Past Pres. of the PTA of St. Joseph's School, (now St. Mary's School), where she also substituted. She was a member of the Medford Lakes Garden Club and a volunteer for FISH, (Feel I Should Help). She is the Beloved wife of Lawrence J. MacDonald of Medford Lakes, NJ and the Loving Mother of Mary Nolan and her husband Richard of Pine Bush, NY, Anne Jackson and her husband Richard of Wilmington, DE, Larry J. MacDonald Jr. and his wife Sharon of Medford Lakes, NJ, Kathy Mathews and her husband Neal of Hamilton Square, NJ, Therese Matthews and her husband Scott of Alexandria Twp., NJ, Joan Grabowski and her husband Joe of Pine Hill, NJ and Nancy Danley and her husband Mike of Medford, NJ. MacDonald, Lawrence J.

LAWRENCE J. MacDONALD, of Medford Lakes, NJ went home to be with the Lord on Monday, November 12th, 2007 at the Marcella Center in Burlington, NJ. He was 82. Born in Boston, MA, he was the son of the late Daniel & Sarah MacDonald and was a long time resident of Medford Lakes. A ret. National Sales Manager for Boise Cascade Corp in NYC, NY, he was a deacon from the first graduating class of the Diocese of Trenton in 1977 and served the parish of St. Mary of the Lakes church as their 1st Deacon. A 3rd Degree Knights of Columbus he was also a counselor at St. Mary's for the separated, widowed and divorced, served as the chairman of the "Right to Life" movement, volunteered at St. Vincent DePaul Society and was a volunteer chaplain for prison ministries in the State of NJ, Burlington County and Collier County in FL. He also spent many years as a Little League Coach. Larry is the husband of the late Jeanne K. MacDonald and is the loving Father of Mary Nolan and her husband Richard of Pine Bush, NY, Anne Jackson and her husband Richard of Wilmington, DE, Larry J. MACELIS, on Aug. 17, 2001 Eleanor M. (nee Dundas) of Maple Shade age 82 and survived by her beloved husband Stanley H. Macelis and 4 daughters Mary Ann Lane of Maple Shade, Kathryn Macelis of Cherry Hill, Margaret Macelis of Marlton & Barabara & Michael De Nardo of Cherry Hill. Also survived by a grandson Matthew Kraus. A retired nurse she was employed by the West Jersey Hosp - Voorhees where she worked as a Recovery Room Nurse and formerly with Our Lady of Lourdes Hosp where she was a Nurse Anesthetist. Macellaro, Emily "Millie"

Emily "Millie" Macellaro (nee Karczewski), 87, of Belleplain, died on Tuesday, September 19, 2006 at Burdette Tomlin Memorial Hospital. Born in Philadelphia, she had been a resident of Belleplain for 53 years.

As a young woman, Millie was an avid softball player and a member of Woodbine All-Star Women's Softball team. She enjoyed bowling, was a seamstress, an excellent cook and baker, and enjoyed canning and freezing her husband's homegrown produce. She taught her children how to fish and crab. She was a Phillies fan and a devout member of Saint Casimir's Parish. Millie was a very special human being who was devoted to her family and friends.

She is survived by her husband of 52 years, Frank and her beloved children Bill Banks of Millville, Barbara Thomas of Ocean View, Donna Gentilini and her companion Larry Penque of Egg Harbor City and Tom and Cheryl Macellaro of Belleplain. Grandchildren are Lisa Poirier, Bill Banks and his wife Becky, Gina Peters and her husband Pete, Tom Gentilini and his wife Jenn, Tom Macellaro Jr. and Julia Macellaro. Great grandchildren are Phillip and Alicia Poirier. Her nephew is Father Julian Karczewski of Saint Ann's Parish, Elmer, NJ. Her sister-in-law Stella Karczewski of Philadelphia, her son Richard and his wife Carol.

A viewing for Millie will be held at Radzieta Funeral Home, 9 Hand Avenue, Cape May Court House on Friday, September 22 from 7:00 to 9:00 PM. A Mass of Christian burial will take place on Saturday, September 23 at 11:00am at Saint Casimir's Church, Woodbine. Friends may call upon the family one-hour prior to the mass. Mack, Theresa Louise

Theresa Louise Mack, 47, of Villas, passed away on Saturday, June 20, 2009. She was born in Camden to Richard and Mary Louise (Sammons) Timmons. She is survived by her son, Daniel Mack, Jr.; her brother, Craig M. Timmons and his wife, Stella; her grandson, McKai T. Moss; and a host of nieces and nephews including Shawn Sammons, Shanikqua Sammons, and Tonya Sammons. Graveside services will be held on Monday, June 29, 2009 at 1:00 p.m. at Seaside cemetery, 559 Route 9 South, Palermo.

Mack, Emmaline

Emmaline Mack, 80, of Cape May Court House, died on Saturday, November 24, 2001, at Oceana Rehabilitation Center. Born in Lexington, VA, she lived in Whitesboro before becoming a resident at Crest Haven Nursing Home for over 25 years. She was a member of Zion Baptist Church of Philadelphia, where she was an usher and a nurse. She was a registered nurse and was the Director of Nursing for Temple University Hospital.

Mrs. Mack is survived by her daughters, Judy Ann Mack of Reading, PA, Nyra Constant-Mack or Brooklyn, NY, and Kim Smith of Cape May Court House; four grandchildren; one great grandchild; and her niece, Debbie Lennon of South Philadelphia.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, November 30, at 11:00 a.m. at the Radzieta Funeral Home, 9 Hand Ave., Cape May Court House, where friends may call after 10:00 a.m. Interment will be in Seaside cemetery, Palermo. Mackert, Robert F.

MACKERT, ROBERT F. Age 85 of Cherry Hill, NJ died in the comfort of his home on December 19, 2006. Born in Shamokin, PA he was the son of the late Frederick C. and Helen L. Mackert. He served in the Navy as an instrument specialist during the end of WWII. Bob worked for 53 years as a manufacturer's representative of visual merchandizing for large department store chains. He was well respected by colleagues and in 1990 was recognized as a leader in his field. Married for 57 years to Mary (nee Volpe); they loved to travel and entertain friends, family and colleagues. He is survived by his daughter and son in law Roberta and Robert Kelly and granddaughters Alison and Lauren Kelly. Relatives and friends are invited to the viewing on Friday from 6:30-9 PM at the Bradley Funeral Home, Rt. 73 & Evesham Rd, Marlton, NJ and Saturday from 9:30-10:30 AM at St. Peter Celestine Church, 402 N. Mackey, William R.

WILLIAM R. MACKEY, age 65, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, May 10th, 2005 at the Sterling Manor in Maple Shade, NJ. Known as Bill to family and friends he was born Feb. 27, 1940, in Rahway, NJ to William L. and Sadie Mackey, and resided in Medford, NJ for the past 33 yrs. moving there from Middletown, NJ. He. attended Rahway High School and, at age 18, enlisted in the U.S. Army and served for more than a year in the Korean conflict. He was a former Salesman and Owner of Chaney Automotive Sales in Medford, NJ which he operated for over 25 years until 1999 and he enjoyed classic and antique automobiles, live jazz, and show tunes. Bill is survived by his ex-wife, Alice H. Mackey of Marlton, a brother Morgan W. and his wife Catherine, of Manchester, NJ; two sons Patrick I. and his wife Patricia, of Medford, NJ and Todd W. and his wife Heather of Rockport, Maine. He is also survived by his grandsons Dillon P. and Lukas I and several nieces and nephews. Jean R. Mackin, (Nee Stucke) passed away on June 14, 2002 in the Virtua West Jersey Hospital in Marlton, NJ. She was 79 yrs. of age. Born in Jersey City, NJ, the daughter of the late Arthur and Anna Stucke, she resided in Medford Leas for the past 11/2 years, moving there from the Oakwood Section of Medford, NJ for 35 years moving and from Bayonne, NJ. She is a former employee of the Golden Pheasant Golf Course in Medford, NJ where she worked in the Pro Shop. A long time member of St. Mary of the Lakes Church in Medford, NJ, she was a volunteer for the B Thrifty Consignment Shop in Medford and enjoyed bowling. She is the wife of the late Edward J. Mackin. She is the beloved mother of Cynthia J. Howarth of Medford, NJ and Wayne J. Mackin of Marlton, NJ. She is also survived by her sister Ruth J. Ashton of Palm Springs, CA and 3 Grandchildren David M. Howarth of Marlton, NJ, Brian M. Howarth of Voorhees, NJ and Michael E. Howarth of Medford, NJ. Mackle, Verna

Verna Mackle, 53, of Cape May Court House, passed away on Sunday, July 4, 2004. She was born in Philadelphia and moved to this area 30 years ago. She is survived by her son, Jay Mackle; her daughter, Stacey Mackle; her brothers and sister, Charles (Chick) Condran and his wife, Joyce, Joseph Wilson and his wife, Rita, Sharon Isaksen and her husband, Rod, Michael Condran and his wife, Nancy, and Kevin Condran; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her mother, Teresa Bucella and her husband, Gerald Mackle.

Funeral Liturgy will be said on Wednesday, July 7, 2004 at 9:30 a.m. at Our Lady of the Angels Church, Parkway and East Mechanic St., Cape May Court House. MacLeod, John Norman

John Norman MacLeod, 77, of Cape May Court House, NJ, died on Thursday, February 20, 2003, at home. He was born in Staten Island, NY and lived here since 1958, having previously lived in Elmer, NJ and Woodbine, NJ. He was raised in Wenonah, NJ. Before retiring, Mr. MacLeod served as Cape May County Agricultural Agent from 1958 to 1985. He also served on the Sturdy Savings Bank Board of Directors and was Director Emeritus at the time of his death. He was a member of the Cold Spring Presbyterian Church. He had been an active member of the Cape May County 4-H Foundation and the 4-H Fair, having been involved with the fish fry and barbecuing chickens during the annual 4-H Fair. He was a member and past president of both the Cape May Court House Kiwanis Club and the New Jersey Agricultural Agents Association. He was involved with local farmers with experimentation of various hybrids of vegetables as to their yield in Cape May County soil. He spearheaded the construction of the Extension Building on Dennisville Road and the clearing of the land with local volunteers. He was the first person to discuss the potential water supply problems in Cape May County. He was a 1950 graduate of New Mexico A&M (University of New Mexico) with honors and was a member of the TEK Fraternity. He was an adjunct professor of Rutgers University. He enlisted in the United States Navy at the age of seventeen with parental consent and served on the USS Cape Esperance and the USS Intrepid. He received the Asiatic Pacific American Area Victory Medal and the Philippine Lib. Points.

He is survived by his children, Michael D. MacLeod and his wife, Kim of North Jersey, Bruce A. MacLeod and his wife, Kathy of Cape May Court House, and Nancy J. MacLeod of Norristown, PA; his wife, Gloria; his step children, Donald V. Holt, Jr., Judy A. Lorusso, Barbara L. Jacobs, and Suzanne E. Burt, all of Cape May County; his brother, Douglass and his wife, Betty of Wenonah; his sister, Marion Glessner of Pennsylvania; five grandchildren; several step grandchildren; one great grandson; and several step great grandchildren.

Services will be held on Tuesday, February 25, 2003 at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Craig Kerewich officiating at the Radzieta Funeral Home, 9 Hand Avenue, Cape May Court House, where friends may call Monday, February 24, 2003 from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. and Tuesday from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. Interment will be in the Baptist cemetery, Cape May Court House. Memorials may be made to the Cape May County 4-H Foundation, 355 Dennisville Road, Cape May Court House, NJ 08210

MacMichael Jr., Joseph W

JOSEPH W. MacMICHAEL JR., of Marlton, NJ, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, Aug. 11, 2009. He was 78 yrs. of age. Born in Phila., PA, he has resided in Marlton for the past 2 years moving there from Moorestown, NJ. A graduate of Rutgers University with a BS and also received his MBA from Drexel University and a BA from Phila. Biblical University. He is a retired Financial Advisor with Haddon Financial Group in Moorestown, NJ and a member of the Immanuel Baptist Church in Maple Shade, NJ where he served on the Board of Deacons. He is a retired member of the Board of Directors of BCM International Inc. and is a Veteran of the US Marine Corp serving in the Korean War. He is the Beloved Husband of Verna A. (Nee Conover) MacMichael of Marlton, NJ and the Loving Father of Joseph W. MacMichael III and his wife Ellen of Lumberton, NJ, Missy Reimer and her husband Jay of Duncanville, TX and Matthew MacMichael Sr. and his wife Johanna of Lumberton, NJ. He is also survived by his brother Earl MacMichael of Elkton, MD, his sister Evelyn Colvin of Hackensack, NJ and his eight Grandchildren Courtney, David, Jenny, Kerryn, Emily, Will, Pace and Schyler. Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing on Sunday from 6:00 - 9:00 PM and on Monday from 9:00 to 10:00 AM at the Fellowship Alliance Chapel, 199 Church Rd. Medford, NJ, where a Celebration of his Life will be held on Monday at 10:00 AM. Interment will be in the BG Wm Doyle Vet. Mem. Cem. in Arneytown, NJ. Funeral arrangements are by the BRADLEY & STOW FUNERAL HOME of Medford, NJ. (609-953-7600). MacNamara, Frank L.

MAC NAMARA, Frank L. on November 3, 2009 of Mt. Laurel, formerly of Cherry Hill and Rehoboth DE. Age 82. Beloved husband of F. Lois MacNamara (nee Jones). Loving father of Steven L. MacNamara and his wife, Jeanette and dear grandfather of Emily and Andrew MacNamara. He is also survived by his brother, Bill MacNamara and his wife, Rose. Mr.MacNamara was a veteran of the US ARMY. He was employed with Chelten Publishing Comp. of Philadelphia as a printer and Subaru after retiring from Chelten. He also was an avid tennis player winning the Bronze Medal in the Senior Olypmics at the age of 75. Relatives and friends are invited to the Memorial Service 11am Monday Nov. 9 at the Bradley Funeral Home Rt. 73 and Evesham Rd. Marlton. The MacNamara family will greet friends following the service. Interment of urn will follow at the B.G. Wm. C. Macrina, Lillian

Lillian Macrina, 81, of Clermont, passed away on Saturday, June 17, 2006 at her home. She was born in Camden to the late William S. and Irene (Deal) Rushworth and lived in Camden before moving to Townsend's Inlet in 1970. She moved to Clermont in 1985. She was a member of the Sea Isle United Methodist Church and the Crescent Chapter/Merchantville of the Order of the Eastern Star. Prior to working in the Middle Township School District at the Middle School, she worked at the Woodrow Wilson School District in Camden.

Mrs. Macrina is the devoted and loving wife to Michael A. Macrina, who preceded her in death on July 4, 2001. She is survived by her daughters, Kathleen McTommoney of Oklahoma, and Joanne Mascia and her husband, Edward of New Jersey; her sisters, Irene Litle of California, and Marian Hayes of New Jersey; her two grandchildren, Peter Mascia of New Jersey, and Andrea Wilkerson and her husband, Thomas of Oklahoma; her great granddaughter, Marley Anne Esposito of New Jersey; and many nieces and nephews. She was also preceded in death by her son in law, Brian McTommoney in March 2005.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, June 22, 2006 at 10:00 a.m. at the Sea Isle United Methodist Church, JFK and Park Road, where visitation will be held after 9:00 a.m. Interment is private in the Cape May County Veterans cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Sea Isle United Methodist Church, JFK and Park Road, Sea Isle City, NJ 08243 or to the charity of one's choice.
