ROBERT HENDERSON
Robert (Bob) Henderson, 58, passed away Oct. 30, 2007.
Bob was born in Oceanside, N.Y., on May 29, 1949. He relocated to New Mexico in 1973 and had lived in the Edgewood area since 1994.
Bob was executive director of La Pasada Halfway House for the past eight years, but his true love was his music. He played the guitar in numerous bands since the age of 13 and continued to do so on a weekly basis until September, when he decided to put all of his energy into healing the disease that finally took him from his family and friends.
Remaining are his best friend and wife, Ginnie; three children, Brandi and Ed Gaylord; Chad Snowden and his son, Gage; and Jason Snowden— none of whom could have ever truly been prepared for this loss.
Bob preferred that no formal funeral service be held. There will be a celebration of his life, love, family, friends and music at Malarky's, located on Hotel Circle (Eubank & I-40) in Albuquerque on Saturday from 2 to 6 p.m. Bring some good memories and a side dish.
