ALICE M. PRITCHARD
Alice M. Pritchard, 94, of Moriarty passed away Jan. 25, 2008.
She was born September 26, 1913, in El Centro, Calif., to Atilio and Costantine Vanoni. She married Burton H. (Bill) Pritchard.
Alice was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and wonderful friend.
Her passion was cooking and made the kitchen her life. She spent the majority of her time running kitchens on the racetrack where her husband worked as a horse owner and trainer. She loved her family and friends and held them very close to her.
Alice's love for life will greatly be missed by her friends, family and everyone she met.
Alice is preceded in death by her mother, father, and her husband. She is survived by her three sons, Sam Pritchard and wife Judy of Chula Vista, California; Henry Pritchard and wife Lynn of Chula Vista, California; and Roy Pritchard and wife Wendy of Moriarty, New Mexico; five grandchildren, Mike, Christine, Kiley, Janea, and Keitha Chantelle (KC); and five great-grandchildren, Jacob, Dominic, Lauren, Alexis, and Elizabeth.

ALONZO BONIFACIO TIXIER
Alonzo Bonifacio Tixier died Feb. 1, 2008. He was a husband, father, grandfather and even Santa.
Born in Bueyeos, New Mexico, on Aug. 1, 1922, Alonzo was a resident of Fort Morgan, Colo. for the last three years.
Alonzo was a World War II veteran and a man of many talents, his greatest joy came from time spent with his family.
He is survived by Maria "Peggy" Tixier, his wife of 61 years, their 5 children; Michael, David and wife Marcy, Marianna and husband Art Ramirez, Eileen, Tim and wife DeeAnn. He also leaves behind 15 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
Alonzo was preceded in death by his eldest son Phillip Tixier.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Eben Ezer Care Center at 122 Hospital Rd., Brush, Co., 80723, which treated Alonzo with respect and compassion.
A memorial mass will be held on Feb. 15 at 6:00 p.m. at the Church of the Holy Cross, 367 State Rd. 344 in Edgewood.

ROBERT "BOBBY" SHANE LIPSEY
Robert "Bobby" Shane Lipsey, 28, beloved son and father, passed into God's Arms on Sunday, February 03, 2008, surrounded by his family and friends.
Bobby recently devoted his life to God at the Crossroads Bible Fellowship Church in Moriarty. In his youth he worked his way up in the Boy Scouts to earn his Star Badge. He had a special spirit of wonder and excitement about him.
He is preceded in death by his father, Robert E. Lipsey; grandparents, Dr. William Lipsey, and Vernon and Vera Ruth Lence; and cousin, Tammy Sue Miller.
He is survived by his mother, Frances Ann Lipsey; daughter, Sierra Nichole Lipsey and her mother, Nicole of Mansfield, IL; grandmother, Maxine Lipsey of Cape Girardeau, Mo.; aunt, Nancy and Calvin Comp of Stonington, Ill.; uncle, Loel and Mary Lence and their son Brian of Texas; uncle, Bill Myres of Rockhill, S.C.; cousins, Jim Miller of Herrin, Ill., and Karen, Sandra, Cheryl, Janet, Becky; special cousins, Christopher of Albuquerque, Jenny, Kevin, Jeff and Heather, and Brianna Miller of Illinois; and many other beloved cousins around the country.

KATHRYN ALBRIGHT EASLEY
Kathryn Albright Easley, 98, of Edgewood passed away Feb. 11, 2008 in Albuquerque.
She was born July 18, 1909, in Gallatin, Tenn., to Walter and Mamie Albright. She married Dennis N. Key of Bethpage, Tenn., who predeceased her. She later married Tom L. Easley of Eagle Pass, Texas, who also predeceased her.
Kathryn was active in the Edgewood Senior Citizen Center for some years.
She is survived by her daughter Barbara Lewis of Albuquerque and her son Dennis R. Key and daughter-in-law Beth Howard of Edgewood as well as six grandchildren, nine great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.
A memorial service will be held in the Atrium of Princeton Place, 500 Louisiana NE in Albuquerque at 1 p.m. on Feb. 23.

LOVILLA BRADFUTE
Lovilla Bradfute, 101, of Moriarty passed away Feb. 3, 2008, at her home in Moriarty with her loving family beside her.
Lovilla was born January 25, 1907, in Knickerboker, Texas, to William Evert and Mary Jane (Arthur) Winn. Lovilla married Richard Washington Bradfute in Clovis on December 13, 1941. She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers Pat Winn; Madison Winn; sisters, Eva May Dean; Mary Jane Williams and son, Bill Bradfute; she was a member of the Homemakers Extension Club and the Culture Arts Club.
Lovilla was an artist and enjoyed quilting. Lovilla is survived by her husband of 66 years Richard Washington Bradfute; son, Richard Wells Bradfute; sister, Ella Tyree; seven grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren. A viewing was held Feb. 5 at the Harris-Hanlon Mortuary Chapel in Moriarty. Funeral services were held Feb. 6 at the Harris-Hanlon Mortuary Chapel in Moriarty; John Bubbico officiated. Interment followed at the McIntosh Cemetery in McIntosh. Pallbearers were Richard Edward Bradfute, David Bradfute, John Bradfute, Jason Bradfute, Charles Dennisson and Lucas Buchanan.

LINDA ANN FARRINGTON
Linda Ann Farrington, 58, of Estancia passed away Feb. 20, 2008, at her home in the Manzano Mountains with her loving family beside her. Linda was born June 11, 1949, in Durand, Mich., to Donald and Jane (Post) Jarrad. She was preceded in death by her father. Linda is survived by husband James C. Farrington; daughters Jill Farrington/Kaltzentil C. Tzatzoehetzin and Pamela Jane Farrington; four sisters Martha Jarrad of San Diego, Calif.; Diane Schupe, husband William Schupe of Tempe, Ariz.; Lucy McCray Jarrad, husband Dennis McCray of Pasadena, Calif.; Jennifer Jarrad of Orlando, Fla.; three brothers Thomas Jarrad, wife Marian Jarrad of Las Vegas, Nev.; Andrew Jarrad, wife Cynthia Jarrad of Oakland, Calif. and Paul Jarrad, wife Eileen Jarrad of San Diego, Calif. She loved cooking, cultivating her garden, traveling and studying homeopathic/naturopathic medicine. In her last days she found comfort in watching a tuft-eared squirrel gather apples from our orchard. He would run up the side of our house, trot over the roof to his nesting tree. All day long the squirrel did this, running back and forth, only stopping briefly to look into Linda's window to say hello. She walks among the angels now, free from pain. She will be missed.

RUBYE L. BROOKS
Rubye L. Brooks, 89, of McIntosh passed away Feb. 17, 2008, in Albuquerque. Rubye was born Dec. 9, 1918, in Baconton, Ga., to Robert and Helen (Wimberly) Lee. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband Emmett Brooks Sr. Rubye is survived by her son, Emmett Brooks Jr. of McIntosh and three grandchildren. There was a memorial service held Feb. 23 at the Immanuel Baptist Church in Estancia; Pastor Albert Hagan will be officiated.

BESSIE LEA WATTS
Bessie Lea Watts, 73, a resident of Corrales, and former resident of Willard and Mountainair passed away on Tuesday, Feb. 26, 2008.
Bessie was born August 26, 1934, the daughter of Percy and Willie Lura Nicholas Wheatley in Pedarnal, N.M. She enjoyed making quilts and giving them away to families whose children still have them today. Bessie was an artist using mostly acrylics to paint southwestern landscapes. She was proud of being a military wife for 20 years.
Bessie was preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, Donald Watts in 2006; and son, Leslie Gene Watts in 1996. Bessie is survived by daughter, Norma Sue Watts-Lucero of Corrales and daughter-in-law Stephanie Lucero of Corrales; three grandchildren, Christopher Lucero and wife Lisa, David Lucero and wife Monique, and Kodee Lea Watts; and two great grandchildren, Chelsea and Christopher Giles.
The family suggests memorial contributions be made in Bessie's name to the American Cancer Society, 10501 Montgomery Blvd. NE, Suite 300, Albuquerque, NM 87111. Cremation has taken place and a private family memorial service will be held.
