Catherine `Sis' Carter
NORTH GREENBUSH - Mrs. Catherine "Sis" Carter, 71, of Todd Drive, died Friday at St. Mary's Hospital in Troy after a long illness.
Mrs. Carter was born in Troy and was a 1948 graduate of Catholic Central High School. She studied data processing at IBM many years ago.

She was a resident of Winter Street in Troy for more than 20 years and moved to Wynantskill in 1976.

Mrs. Carter was employed at Cluett, Peabody & Co. and the Arrow Co. in Troy for many years. She retired in 1984 from the IBM section of the payroll department.

She was a member of the ladies' auxiliaries of Samaritan Hospital in Troy and the Brunswick Elks Lodge and a communicant of Sacred Heart Church in Troy.

Survivors include her husband, Richard S. Carter; a son, Edward John Carter of Irvine, Calif.; two daughters, Catherine A. Carter of Rensselaer and Barbara Carter-De Lapp of Troy; and a granddaughter.

Services will be at 9 a.m. Tuesday at the Bryce Funeral Home, Pawling and Maple avenues, Troy, and at 9:30 at Sacred Heart Church, where a Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated.

Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery, Troy.

Calling hours will be 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.

Contributions in memory of Mrs. Carter may be made to the North Greenbush Ambulance, P.O. Box 99, Wynantskill 12198, or to the St. Mary's Hospital Foundation for the intensive care department or the emergency room, P.O. Box 987, Troy 12181.

Christopher Dailey
SARATOGA SPRINGS - Christopher Gene Dailey, 8, the son of Mark and Maria Dailey of Saratoga Springs, died Friday at Albany Medical Center Hospital.
Christopher was born in Saratoga Springs and attended the Dorothy Nolan School in Wilton, where he was a member of the Chess Club.

He was active in local athletics including soccer, baseball and basketball.

Survivors in addition to his parents include a sister, Laura Rose Dailey; a brother, Brendan Dailey; and his grandparents, Rose and Cosimo DeLeo of Albany and Eugene and Joan Dailey of Clifton Park.

A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday at St. Clement's Roman Catholic Church, 231 Lake Ave.

Burial will follow in St. Peter's Cemetery.

Calling hours will be 4 to 8 p.m. Monday at the William J. Burke & Sons Funeral Home, 628 N. Broadway.

Edna M. Elliott
BOZRAH, Conn. - Mrs. Edna M. Elliott, 83, of River Road in Bozrah, formerly of Schenectady, died November 15 at Harrington Court Genesis Eldercare in Colchester, Conn.
Mrs. Elliott was born in Schenectady.

She was employed as an assembler at the General Electric Co. in Schenectady before retiring several years ago.

While in Schenectady, Mrs. Elliott was a member of the New Hope Gospel Church.

She was married to the late Leroy Elliott.

Survivors include two sons, Richard Elliott of Bozrah and Wayne Elliott of Cobleskill; a brother, Donald Ishkanian of West Virginia; and five grandchildren.

A graveside service will be held at 1 p.m. Friday in Vale Cemetery, Schenectady.

There will be no calling hours.

Arrangements are by the Guillot Funeral Home, 75 S. B. St., Taftville, Conn.

Edward H. Lloyd
SARATOGA SPRINGS - Edward H. Lloyd, 68, of Waterbury Street, died Thursday at Saratoga Hospital.
Mr. Lloyd was born in Saratoga Springs.

He was a plumber/pipefitter for Union Local 773 in Glens Falls.

Mr. Lloyd was a member and past exalted ruler of Greenwich Elks Lodge 2223 and a coach for soccer and Little League baseball.

Survivors include his wife of 33 years, Constance Charbonneau Lloyd; five sons, Robert Wendell and Michael Lloyd, both of Florida, Dennis Wendell of Glens Falls, and Mark Wendell and Kirk Wendell, both of Saratoga Springs; a daughter, Deborah Lloyd-Priest of Brocton; five brothers, Arthur Lloyd, John Lloyd, Ernest Lloyd, William Lloyd and Thomas Lloyd; a sister, Mary Hammond; seven grandchildren; and a great-grandson.

A memorial Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Friday at the Church of St. Peter, 241 Broadway.

Burial will follow in Saratoga National Cemetery, 200 Duell Road, Schuylerville.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Saratoga National Cemetery Honor Guard Association, Empire State Plaza, P.O. Box 2003, Albany 12220; or to the Church of St. Peter, 241 Broadway, Saratoga Springs 12866; or to the Saratoga Hospital Foundation, 211 Church St., Saratoga Springs 12866.

Arrangements are by the William J. Burke & Sons Funeral Home, 628 N. Broadway.

Eugene Scoville
MECHANICVILLE - Eugene B. Scoville, 69, of Meehan Road, died Wednesday at Saratoga Hospital after a long illness.
Mr. Scoville was born in Warrensburg.

He was a brakeman for the Boston & Maine Railroad for more than 25 years and also had worked for D.C.G. Development in Clifton Park, where he was a heavy equipment operator.

Mr. Scoville was a member of the Brotherhood of Retired Railway Workers.

He was married to Agnes McNeil Scoville, who died in 1993.

Survivors include four sons, Eugene Scoville Jr. of Colonie, Ronald Scoville of Cohoes, Jeremy Scoville of Mechanicville and James Scoville of Troy; a daughter, Vicky Cherney of Ballston Spa; his mother, Viola Harvey Coleman of Corinth; two brothers, David Coleman of Weldone, N.C., and Samuel Coleman of Madison, Tenn.; two sisters, Wilma Williams of Corinth and Millie Mosher of Saratoga Springs; and 17 grandchildren.

A service is set for 11 a.m. Monday at the Dunn Funeral Home, 319 Park Ave.

Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery, Schaghticoke.

Calling hours will be 6 to 8 tonight at the funeral home.

Henry A. DelCogliano
LANSINGBURGH - Henry A. DelCogliano, 81, of Sixth Avenue, died Saturday at St. Mary's Hospital after a long illness.
Born in Troy, Mr. DelCogliano attended Troy City Schools.

After grade school, he worked for Keller's Bakery on Sixth Avenue and later was employed by the Postal Service as a letter carrier.

During World War II, he served in the Army in Europe, participating in the Battle of the Bulge and earning a Purple Heart.

Sixteen years after his initial service, Mr. DelCogliano re-enlisted in the Army for one more year and established a branch of the Postal Service in Alaska during that time. He achieved the rank of sergeant first class.

Mr. DelCogliano held various positions at the Postal Service in Troy, including those of carrier and counter clerk. He retired as a supervisor after more than 30 years of service.

He was a communicant of St. Augustine's Church, a member, treasurer and past commander of the Corporal Arthur Willi Military Order of the Purple Heart, and a member of the Tibbits Cadets of Troy.

His wife, Julia Felitti DelCogliano, died Dec. 28, 1991.

Survivors include two sons, Robert DelCogliano of Fallon, Nev., and Joseph Piscatella of Troy; two daughters, Barbara J. Robinson of New Smyrna Beach, Fla., and Elaine M. Rizzo of Troy; two brothers, Thomas DelCogliano and John DelCogliano, both of Troy; a sister, Ida Bendon of Troy; nine grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.

Services will be at 8:45 a.m. Tuesday at the John J. Sanvidge Funeral Home, 115th Street and 4th Avenue, and at 9:30 at St. Augustine's Church.

Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery.

Calling hours will be 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Corporal Arthur Willi Military Order of the Purple Heart, 761 Third Ave., Troy 12182.

Lawrence J. Liscio
SCHENECTADY - Lawrence J. Liscio, 72, of DeWitt Street, died Friday at St. Peter's Hospital in Albany after a long illness.
Mr. Liscio was born in Schenectady and graduated from the former Nott Terrace High School.

He was employed by the city as an operator at the water treatment plant until his retirement.

Survivors include his wife of 50 years, Catherine Cosentino Liscio; a son, Ralph Liscio of Guilderland; a daughter, Karen Sementilli of Rotterdam Junction; and two brothers, Pat Liscio of Rotterdam and Rocco Liscio of Schenectady.

Services will be at 8:15 a.m. Tuesday at the DeMarco-Stone Funeral Home, 1605 Helderberg Ave., Rotterdam, and at 9 at St. Anthony's Church, 331 Seward Place, where a Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated.

Burial will follow in St. Anthony's Cemetery, Glenville.

Calling hours will be 6 to 9 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.

Memorial contributions may be made to the St. Anthony's Church Fund.

Rachael Manning
RENSSELAER - Mrs. Rachael Kiernan Manning, 76, of Rose Wood Gardens, formerly of Cohoes and Mechanicville, died Wednesday at St. Peter's Hospital in Albany.
Mrs. Manning was born in Cohoes. She was educated at the former Sacred Heart School in Cohoes and graduated from the Austin Beauty School in Troy.

She was a self-employed beautician.

Mrs. Manning was a member of the Mechanicville Senior Citizens.

She was married to the late Joseph Manning.

Survivors include a daughter, Regina Wood of Mechanicville, and a grandson.

Services will be at 8:30 a.m. Tuesday at the Fitzgerald Funeral Home, 105 Vliet Blvd., Cohoes, followed by a Mass of Christian burial at 9 at St. Rita's Church in Cohoes.

Burial will be in St. Jean's Cemetery, Troy.

Calling hours will be 5 to 7 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.

Robert R. Donahue
ALBANY - Robert R. Donahue, 77, of the Eden Park Nursing Home, died Saturday at St. Peter's Hospital.
Mr. Donahue was born in Albany.

He was a truck driver from 1946 until retiring in 1986 from Graves and Rogers.

He was an Army veteran of World War II and a member of the Fort Orange American Legion Post 30.

Survivors include his wife, Helen Golomb Donahue; two daughters, Roberta A. Grieco of Albany and Christine M. Keenan of Ravena; and three grandchildren.

Services will be at 8:45 a.m. Tuesday at the Dreis Funeral Home, 208 N. Allen St., and at 9:30 at Our Lady Help of Christians Church, where a Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated.

Burial will follow in Our Lady Help of Christians Cemetery, Glenmont.

Calling hours will be 4 to 8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.

Contributions may be made to the church at 74 Second Ave., Albany 12202, in memory of Mr. Donahue.
