REILLY, KEVIN - Kevin Reilly, 28, New York City Firefighter, missing with hundreds of his brothers since the September 11, 2001 terrorist attack on the World Trade Center. Adored husband of Jennifer (Mulderrig) Reilly, cherished son of Joan (Morgan) and George Reilly (retired Lieutenant FDNY). Also survived by his grandmother, Marie Reilly, brother Edward, sister and brother-in-law Regina and William Madigan and two nieces, Sarah and Niamh Madigan. Loved and treasured by his new in-laws, Mary, Michael (Lieutenant, FDNY) and Brendan Mulderrig and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and wonderful friends. Kevin was born in Manhattan on August 4, 1973. He grew up in Spring Valley and graduated from Albertus Magnus High School in 1991 and SUNY Oneonta in 1995. After graduation he worked for A K R F, Inc Environmental Consultants as a hydro geologist. He joined the FDNY in February 2000 and was proud to be assigned to Ladder 40 in Harlem, where his father had served for 16 years. More recently Kevin was assigned to Engine 207 in Brooklyn. Kevin lived a full and happy life. While in High School he was President of the Senior Class, played baseball and ran track and cross country. He remained an avid runner and belonged to the New York Road Runners Club. He completed the New York Marathon in 1999. He was a diehard Yankees fan. Kevin was always ready to lend a hand and equally ready for a new adventure. The friends he made he kept for life and his fraternity brothers from Phi Kappa Sigma were among the most special. On July 7, 2001 Kevin married the love of his life, Jennifer Mulderrig of Pearl River. They moved to Manhattan's Upper East Side and had two perfect months in their new home, close to the places that made the city exciting and friends that made it fun. Kevin will be missed and mourned by all but especially by his wife and family who best knew his humor, his humility, his dependability, his generosity, his energy, and his love for them. The family will receive friends on Friday, October 19, at the Wyman-Fisher Funeral Home, Inc, 100 Franklin Avenue, Pearl River, NY, from 3-5 and 7-9 pm. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, October 20 at 12 noon at St. Anthony's RC Church, Nanuet, NY. RICCIO, ANGELINA - Angelina Riccio died October 14, 2001 in Florida. She was born February 22, 1922 in Italy, daughter of Vincent and Lugiana (Golio) Raffa. On April 14, 1952, she married Emilio Riccio in Italy and together they moved to Dobbs Ferry that same year. They lived in Dobbs Ferry, until moving to Englewood, Fl. in 1996. Angelina will be remembered as a loving wife and mother. Surviving are her husband, Emilio, of Englewood, Fl, two daughters, Antoinette White, of Dobbs Ferry and Louise Martelli, of Wappinger Falls, NY; one sister Rose Maurantonio of Dobbs Ferry and two grandchildren, Joseph Martelli and Richard White, Jr. Mass of the Resurrection 10am Friday, Our Lady of Pompeii Church, Dobbs Ferry. ROBERTO, JOSEPH - Joseph Roberto, 37, of Midland Park, NJ, formerly of New City, NY, died tragically and innocently on September 11, 2001 at Two World Trade Center. Joseph is survived by his loving wife Janet and son Joseph Paul. Cherished son of Robert and Lucy Roberto (nee Cedrone). Dear sister Lorraine Caiazzo and husband Kenneth, loving brother Robert and his girlfriend Kristine. Loving uncle to Amanda Rose and Patrick Robert Caiazzo, Sarah "Lee" and "Marlon" Brandon. Joseph is also survived by many loving aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Joseph attended Clarkstown High School North. He graduated from Fordham University in 1986 and earned his Masters in Finance in 1990. Joseph was a Senior Vice President, Bank Analyst for Keefe, Bruyette and Woods on the 89th floor at the World Trade Center. Joseph was a history buff, enjoyed riding his motorcycle and loved all holidays, especially Christmas. SAVA, JOSEPH PAUL - Joseph Paul Sava. Beloved husband and devoted father, grandfather and brother went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, October 14, 2001. He was born February 18, 1924 in Yonkers, New York to Rose (Cusumano) and Saverio Sava. He graduated from Commerce High School in 1943. He married Anne Zitoli on June 10, 1950. He worked for Phelps Dodge Cable Company in Yonkers for 44 years and Yonkers Raceway for 30 years. He was a member of St. Mary's parish in Yonkers. He is survived by his wife, Anne Sava, his children, Rose Sava, Saverio J. Sava and Gerald Sava, his brother, Saverio B. Sava and his wife, Elizabeth and his six grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his sisters, Bessie Carozza and Josephine Carozza. Joseph was a model of generosity and devotion to his family and friends. We will remember him always for the laughter, the love and the generosity which he shared with all of us. Services will be held at the Sinatra Memorial Home, 601 Yonkers Avenue, Yonkers, NY on Friday, October 19, 2001 from 6-9 pm. SCARCELLO, DONALD F. - Retired Project Engineer & Former Trustee of Tuckahoe, NY. Donald F. Scarcello, former resident of Chatham, MA and Tuckahoe, NY died in Southfield, MI on October 16th, 2001. He was 78 years old. Mr. Scarcello was a Project Engineer for Loral Electronic Systems in Yonkers, NY for 27 years. He also worked for General Precision Laboratories, Pleasantville, NY and Norden Laboratories, White Plains, NY for a total of 42 years in Aerospace Engineering. In addition, Mr. Scarcello held the positions of Elected Trustee and Deputy Mayor of the Village of Tuckahoe, NY from 1968 through 1982. Mr. Scarcello was also past president of the Kiwanis Club of Eastchester, NY, member of the John Kehoe Council of the Knights of Columbus and served on the board of directors of the Loral Management Club. Mr. Scarcello also served in the Army Air Corps. In retirement, Mr. Scarcello enjoyed his music hobby, as bassist with The Dreamers, a 17-piece show band and The Silver Foxes of both Chatham and Orleans, MA. Mr. Scarcello was married to Sara (Sally) Gelston of Irvington-on-the-Hudson, NY for 56 years. In addition to his wife, survivors include a son, Paul J. Scarcello of Bingham Farms, MI, two grandsons Paul J. Scarcello, Jr. of Royal Oak, MI and Robert T. Scarcello of Minneapolis, MN and a great-grandson Joseph A. Scarcello of Royal Oak, MI; two sisters Betty Casella of Winterhaven, FL and Paula Kalkbrenner of Somers, NY and five nieces and a nephew. Mr. Scarcello was predeceased by a brother Anthony J. SCHIAVONE, ANNA - 92, of Yonkers passed away on Oct. 16, 2001 in St. Johns - Riverside Hospital. Anna was born on Oct. 21, 1908 in Mt. Vernon to Frank and Louise (Venacci) Montalto. She attended local schools and married Leo Schiavone on Oct.16, 1927 in Mt. Vernon. Leo passed away in 1976. Anna was predeceased by her daughter Dolores L. Campanella and her son Anthony Schiavone. She leaves behind her 8 grandchildren, Denise Schultz, David Kraemer, Daniel Kraemer, Amy Traggianese, Gina Lenard, Marisa Harris, Wendy DeRienzo and Anthony Schiavone. She also leaves behind 17 great-grandchildren. Visitation will be held at Whalen & Ball F.H on Wed Oct. 17th from 7-9pm and Thursday Oct 18th from 2-4pm and 7-9pm. SCUDDER, CHRISTOPHER JAY - Memorial Services for Christopher Jay Scudder Saturday, October 20, 2001 1:00 pm to be held at the First Baptist Church, Spring Valley, NY. Rev. Born October 9, 1966 to the late Alexander Scudder and Elzoria Scudder at the Ramapo General Hospital, Christopher was educated in the East Ramapo school district and graduated from Ramapo Senior High School in 1985. He attended Slippery Rock College, Slippery Rock, PA in 1986 where he was initiated into Xi Mu Chapter of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Incorporated. He later transferred to Buffalo State College, Buffalo, NY where he majored in Early Childhood Development and minored in Business Information Systems while remaining an active member of his fraternity through Delta Epsilon Chapter. Chris was also very active with various community organizations, and the Colton Elementary School, P.T.A. He attended the First Baptist Church, Spring Valley, N.Y. where he was very active with the Sunday School Choir at an early age, Male chorus, Mass choir, young adult choir and community youth council. He was also a member of Trinity Ensemble. Enpointe Technologies employed Chris as a Consultant and continued to be an active Brother of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. as an active member of Eta Chi Lambda Chapter in Rockland County, N.Y. His pastimes were his love for music, computers and electronics. As he has stated on occasion, Chris' pleasures, however, were his relationship with God, his nine-year-old daughter, Shalisha, his dear mom, Elzoria, his sister, Adriane and his sweetheart and Fiancee, Naomi. On Tuesday, September 11, 2001 Chris along with many others life was tragically lost. Chris will be missed terribly, but never forgotten. Chris forever holds in our hearts the memories of those who will miss him the most. SERVA, MARIAN HALEVY - Marian Halevy Serva, 47 of Stafford County, Virginia died Tuesday, September 11, 2001 at the Pentagon in Washington, DC as a result of an act of terrorism. Mrs. Serva was born Marian Halevy in Yonkers, NY on April 30, 1954 . She met her husband, Bruce, also a native of Yonkers in high school in Greenville, North Carolinia and they were married in 1975. They traveled extensively during her husband's military career before settling permanently into their residence in Stafford, Virginia. Marian was a devoted wife and mother to the Serva's daughter Christinia. While dedicated to her family, she took immense pride in her job in the Pentagon where she worked for fifteen years. She served as the Congressional Affairs Contact Officer for the Deputy Chief of Staff for Personnel, United States Army. She is predeceased by her mother Ann in 1986 and her father Clarence in 1999. In addition to her husband and daughter, she is survived by three sisters; Terry Adams of Wingdale, New York, Joan Meyer of Tucson, Arizona and Ann Treco of Patterson, New York; one brother, Richard Halevy who is director of community affairs in Yonkers, New York; and seven nieces and nephews. A Memorial Service will be held at 10:00AM Saturday, October 20, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, on Shonnard Place in Yonkers, New York. SHUBERT, THOMAS JOSEPH - Thomas Joseph Shubert lost in the World Trade Center tragedy (104th Floor) on September 11, 2001. Employed as First Vice President of Cantor Fitzgerald. Beloved husband of Diana. Loving father of Renee (age 5). Devoted son of Sheila and the late Edward Shubert. Dear brother of Edward. Also survived by many aunts, uncles and cousins here in NY, Florida and in Ireland. SIKORSKY, GREGORY R. - Gregory R. Sikorsky of Wesley Hills, New York lost his life on September 11, 2001 while heroically saving others in the World Trade Center. Greg was born on October 5, 1966 to George and Luzia Sikorsky in Manhattan, New York. Greg graduated East Ramapo High School in 1985 and worked as a mechanic in his family's business. In 1996 Greg joined the FDNY and was assigned to Engine 46 in the Bronx. Prior to transferring to Squad 41 last year, he was also stationed in engine 47 and 50 truck. He was a volunteer with Hillcrest Fire Department for sixteen years. Greg also served in the Marine Corp Reserves and was a veteran of The Persian Gulf War. Greg is survived by his wife Marie and their son Steven 3 years old. His parents George and Luzia Sikorsky, 3 brothers Perry and his wife Maria, and George and his wife Barbara, and Kenny, nephew Danny, and niece Kasey, and several aunts, uncles and cousins. Greg also leaves behind Marie's parents, mother Margaret Topkin and father George Topkin, her 8 sisters and their families including 17 nieces and nephews. Greg was a devoted son, a loving husband, a proud father, a wonderful brother, a special uncle and a dedicated firefighter. He had a unique way of touching the lives of everyone who knew him. He was a true friend to all and will be deeply missed but forever remembered. TUCCITTO, MARIANNE CALI - Marianne Cali Tuccitto, of Tuckahoe, NY died Wednesday October 17, 2001 at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in New York City. She was 52 years old. She retired in 1999 from the US Postal Service. Born in the Bronx on January 23, 1949, she was the daughter of the late Laura and "Bill" Biaggio Cali. On September 15, 1968, she married Joseph Tuccitto at Nativity Church of Our Blessed Lady in the Bronx. In addition to her husband she is survived by her loving children Laureen and Joseph, and by her beloved granddaughter Ashley. Also surviving is a sister June Pagano. VENA, COSMO - 74, a life-long resident of White Plain was born on Jan 5, 1927 . Born to mother, Vincenza, and father Michael Vena. married Gladys Count on Sept. 3,1953 in White Plains, NY. He was a member of the Roma Athletic Club. He retired from Teamsters in 1988. He is survived by 5 children , Nickolas Vena of Patterson, NY, Andrew Vena of Hopewell Junction, Cosmo Vena Jr. of Wappinger Falls, Jeffrey Vena of Michigan, and Barbara Vena of White Plains. AUSTIN, ROBERT L. - Robert L. Austin, 74, of Pomona, New York, passed away on October 14, 2001, leaving behind his loving wife, Gloria, his three adoring children, Douglas, his wife, Melissa, Tracey, her husband, Jim and Meredith, along with three admiring grandchildren, Nicholas, Julia and Daniel. Bob had a creative flair and an innovative approach to life, which was the hallmark of his success. As President of Diehl & Sons, Inc., he shepherded the business through many a challenge helping to make it one of the leading full-service truck dealerships in the nation. He was a man of vision, a trend spotter and an enthusiast for new opportunities. Bob served in the Navy during World War II as a Navy Photographer. Prior to purchasing Diehl & Sons, Bob Austin was the Public Relations Manager for International Harvester's Truck Division in Chicago, IL. In this role he led the P.R. launch of the International Scout. He had a heart of gold evidenced by his generosity that extended beyond his family and friends. He was a great supporter of Rockland County, contributing to a variety of local charities and organizations. Robert Austin was a man like no other. He will be loved and missed by all that knew him. COX, CONSTANCE C. - Mrs. Constance C. Cox, late of Dobbs Ferry, and Ossining, died Sunday morning, October 14, 2001, from complications stemming from hip fracture she suffered in May. She was 81 years old. She was born Constance Christine Studwell, to William and Sarah Studwell in Stamford, CT, on January 8, 1920. Mrs. Cox attended school in Stamford and Fort Lauderdale, FL, before taking on full-time employment at The Norma Hoffman industrial plant in Stamford during WWII. She also worked as a volunteer for The American Red Cross during the war years. Her unsung contributions and personal sacrifices, along with that of other American women from that era helped lead America to victory in WWII. Constance later attended nursing school and worked at The St. Joseph's Medical Center in Stamford for more than 30 years. She retired from full-time employment in 1992. Mrs. Cox was a lifelong parishioner at St. John's Episcopal Church in Stamford where she frequently volunteered her time and services in numerous capacities over the years. Most recently, she served as a member of The Ladies Altar Guild. She was the widow of the late Merle Robert Cox of Hamilton, Ohio. Surviving are her son and his wife, Joseph and Donna Cox of Ossining. Also surviving are stepsons Russell Cox of Guilford, CT, and William Cox of Higganum, CT, and five grandchildren: Kristopher Cox of Higganum, Jason Cox of Dallas, TX, Emilie Cox of Stamford, Joseph S. Cox, Jr. of Ossining, and Shannon Cox also of Ossining. Other survivors include her nephews, William Moore, Sr. of New Milford, CT, Daniel J. Brown, Jr. of Indianapolis, IN, & her niece, Mrs. Geraldine Fedak of Yonkers, NY. DARRETTA, ELIZABETH - 77, of Nokomis, Florida, died October 11, 2001. She was born in White Plains, and moved to Nokomis in 1984 from Armonk. She had been a Business Office Manager with New York Telephone until her retirement in 1979. She is survived by her husband of 30 years, Robert J. Darretta; a son, Micheal Spears of Monroe, N.C; a sister, Charlotte Lombardo, of Thornwood, N.Y.; and a granddaughter, Elizabeth Gourlay of Astoria, N.Y. A Memorial Mass will be held at St. Bernard Roman Catholic Church in White Plains, on Saturday, at 11:00 a.m. Interment at Mt. Calvary Cemetery will be private. DI FIORE, JOSEPH - Joseph Di Fiore of Colorado Springs, Colorado, formerly of Tuckahoe, NY died October 8, 2001. Joseph was born to the late Ernesto and Mary Pittore Di Fiore in Bronxville, NY on July 23, 1921. He was a graduate of Tuckahoe High School. Joseph was married to Ruth Raynor Di Fiore on September 17, 1944. Joseph was employed with the Scarsdale Board of Education and then later with the Shoreham Board of Education in Long Island. He was the father of Ernest and Gregory of Colorado and James of Corpus Christie, Texas. Grandfather of seven. Mr. Di Fiore was predeceased by his son Joseph Di Fiore Jr. In addition to his wife and children Joe is survived by his sisters Betty Gallo of Tuckahoe and Barbara Di Fiore of Coconut Creek, Florida. Joseph was predeceased by his brother Anthony Di Fiore. Funeral Service was held on October 12 in Colorado Springs, Colorado.

DOHERTY, JAMES J. - James J. Doherty "French Fry" of Suffern, NY, a 20 year Kitchen Aide at Good Samaritan Hospital entered into peaceful rest on Monday, October 15, 2001. He was 59 years old. James was the son of the late Elizabeth Corcoran and James Doherty. He was born on January 24, 1942 in New York City. James is survived by his twin brother, Robert Doherty and his wife of Monroe, NY, his sister, Theresa Maher and her husband of Fords, NJ and several nieces, nephews and great nieces. James was a member of the Mahwah B.P.O.E. 1941. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Thursday at 10:00 am at Sacred Heart R.C. Church in Suffern. DUNN, MARGARET FREYN - Margaret "Maggie" Freyn Dunn cruciverbalist, musician and generous volunteer died on September 25, 2001 at the Wake Robin Retirement Community in Shelburne, Vermont . She was 85. Formerly of New Rochelle, New York, she was the first PTA President of the George M. Davis Jr., Elementary School (1953-54) and a member of the New Rochelle Board of Education from 1955-1960, serving as its Vice-Chairman for several years. She was also instrumental in the elementary tutoring program of the New Rochelle Volunteer Bureau and a member of the choir of the North Avenue Presbyterian Church. Her husband, Thomas Mansfield Dunn predeceased her in 1981. She is survived by her children Thomas Freyn Dunn of Boston, Massachusetts, and Sarah (Sally) Mansfield Hoag (John W. Hoag) of Toronto, Canada, and her grandchildren Hannah Margaret Hoag and Matthew Warner Hoag also of Toronto. A Circle of Remembrance and Musical Memorial Service with cello and flute was held at Wake Robin in Shelburne, Vermont on Wednesday, October 3, 2001.

FRAIOLI, GIUSEPPE "JOSEPH" - 83, a longtime Mamaroneck resident died on October 14, 2001 after a long illness. Joe immigrated to Mamaroneck from Italy in 1953 and worked for several large highway and road construction companies in Westchester County. He also formed the Fraioli Family Partnership, which owns and manages numerous investment properties in Mamaroneck and is now operated by his two Sons. He is survived by his loving wife, Rosa Iovane of Mamaroneck, cherished sons Larry of Mamaroneck and Mario of Rye, and his 8 Grandchildren who always brought a smile to his face. Also survived by sisters, Domenica Tasciotti and Luiga Protano both of Italy, as well as many cousins, nieces and nephews both in Italy as a child, a brother Rocco of Schenectedy, NY and a sister Caterina Lancia of Italy. AZZOPARDI, EVELYN - of Mt. Vernon died on December 9, 2001. She was born August 8, 1924 to Raphael and Josephine Azzopardi in Alexandria, Egypt. Evelyn worked as a Technician at the Sigmond Cohn Company in Mount Vernon. One Brother Anthony and many nieces and nephews survive her. Evelyn is predeceased by three Sisters and one Brother. BIELAT, STANLEY J. - Stanley J. Bielat of Tuckahoe, former Yonkers resident for over 50 years on December 9, 2001. Brother of Frank J. Bielat, uncle of one niece and six nephews. Mr. Bielat was the winner of the 1950 National Public Links Tournament in Louisville, KY. He was inducted into the Yonkers Sports Hall of Fame October 10, 1981. Mr. Bielat was a Surgical Technician in World War II. He was also a member of the Laborers International Union of North America Local 235 since November 7, 1960. Calling hours at the Fred H. BILLIG, JENNY R. - a resident of the Town of Greenburgh, NY and formerly of Ossining, NY died Sunday, December 9, 2001 at the age of 23. Jenny was the beloved daughter of Jack L. Billig of the Town of Greenburgh, NY and Joan Billig of Peekskill, NY, the devoted sister of Jeremy and Jonathan and the loving granddaughter of Jerome and Norma Strachman of Hartsdale, NY and Muriel Billig of Bronx, NY and the late Alan Billig. Jenny was a social worker for Family Service of Westchester, White Plains, NY. BOCKINO, KATHERINE (NEE POGGIOLI) - Katherine Bockino (nee Poggioli) of Mt. Vernon died December 9, 2001 after a brief illness. Mrs. Bockino was born on January 18, 1920 in Italy to the late John & Vincenza Poggioli. Her beloved husband of 56 years, Joseph, survives Katherine.
