ONTARIO - passed away peacefully on October 30, 2011. Sementilli, Michael Louis

PALMYRA - passed away Wednesday, October 19, 2011 at age 49 at the House of John, in Clifton Springs, NY. Survived by loving friends & immediate family members that include his parents, Louis & Suzanne Sementilli; brother James Sementilli; sister Debbie LeMoyne; several nieces, nephews, & cousins; goddaughter Gina Durfee. Mike graduated from Palmyra-Macedon High School & received a BS in Communications from SUNY Geneseo. Michael was an avid sports enthusiast and was particularly passionate about college sports, horse racing & golf. He was a walking encyclopedia of sports statistics & used statistical facts in his broadcasts on Channel 12, FLTV, appropriately named Sports Trac. Mike’s unique perspective resulted in a loyal following for over twenty years, which continues today. In addition to Michael being a sports enthusiast, he will always be revered in his ability to help others & his compassionate heart. ONTARIO - Died on October 18, 2011 at age 92. Married 65 years to Jeanette (Jan). Survived by 2 brothers, Joseph (Tina) Schmitt & William (Elizabeth) Schmitt; special brother-in-law & sister-in-law Edward & Ruth Maier; 2 special nephews, Richard (Virginia) Maier & Robert (Mary Ellen) Maier; many other special nieces & nephews. He was a life member of the VFW in Wolcott 7417 & also a member of the American Legion 881. There will be no prior calling hours. Predeceased by his father Harold Pyfrom. Terry was a dedicated husband & father, who enjoyed hunting & fishing with his son & brothers. He was a brick layer & a member of Rochester Bricklayer’s Local #3 Bricklayer’s Union. His craftsmanship may be found throughout the Rochester & Fingerlakes regions. Survived by his wife Janet; daughters, Valerie (Bill) Drexler, Jill (Keith) Kramer, Cheryl (Mark) Kramer; grandson-in-law Andrew Dippel; grandchildren, Jenelle, Joshua, Christine; great grandchildren, Graham, Raegan Dippel; sister Joyce Pugsley; sisters & brothers-in-law; several nieces & nephews. He was Past Chief & former member of the Lincoln Fire Dept for 35 years, Korean War Veteran & was retired from Mobil Chemical after 30 years.
