Allene Lovella Hargett Maner

COLUMBIA, S.C. - Allene Lovella Hargett Maner, of Columbia, died Saturday, Nov. 27, 2004.
Born in Atlanta, Ga., she was the daughter of Mrs. Cora Sims Hargett and the late Mr. Hargett. Surviving are six children, Randall Lemaster, Leslie (and wife, Carolyn) Bohner, Jan (Linda) Piper, Armando (Rebecca) Segarra, Wayne Courson and Richard Maner; five grandchildren and two stepgrandchildren.
She was preceded in death by four brothers, Prince, Jessie, Richard and Lewis; and two sisters, Tiny Mae and Doris.
Services will be held Wednesday at 10:30 a.m. in the Chapel of Trezevant Funeral Home with burial in Village Memorial Gardens.

Gail E. Boulware
(1955 - 2004)

COLUMBIA CITY, Ind. - Gail E. Boulware, 49, of Columbia City died Nov. 27, 2004, at the Visiting Nurse & Hospice Home of Fort Wayne.
Born Sept. 19, 1955, at Adrian, Mich., she was the daughter of Margaret (Healy) and James Bliss Church.
A homemaker with part time professions in motel management, food services and caring for the elderly, she was an active member of the Abundant Life Tabernacle of Fort Wayne.
Surviving are her husband, Kevin Boulware of Columbia City; daughters, Heather Reinig of Columbia City and Lisa Marie Reinig of Gas City; a stepson, Phillip Boulware of Clearwater, Fla.; grandchildren, Jeffrey John and Halie Brianne, both of Columbia City and Maria Jewel of Gas City; seven sisters, Yvonne Payne of Kendallville, Bethel Dickens of Flatwood, Ky., Carrie Opal Ford of Ironton, Ohio, Alva Jean Frazer and Thelma Kay Church of Florida, Bernadine Church of Butler, and Veva Ann Edwards of Buffalo, Mo.; and four brothers, Darrell Church of Angola, Danny Paul Church of Albion, Randy Church of West Unity, Ohio and Earnie David Church of Fremont.
Preceding her in death were her parents and three brothers, Bliss Alfred Church, John Alvin Church and Arlie "Kevin" Church.
Visitation will be held today from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. in the Smith & Sons Funeral Home, 207 N. Main St., Columbia City, Ind.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 11 a.m. in the funeral home with the Rev. David Keller and the Rev. Forrest R. Church, nephew, to officiate. Burial will follow at Lindenwood Cemetery in Fort Wayne, Ind.

Christian Michael Canada
(December 3, 2004)

WAUSEON -Christian Michael Canada, infant son of Brenda and Michael Canada of Wauseon, died Friday, Dec. 3, 2004.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by sisters, Leah and Cherith; a brother, Andrew; grandparents, Keith and Barbara Heising Sr.; maternal aunt, Mrs. Raul (Karen) Bergerman; maternal uncles, Keith Jr., Steve (and wife, Lorraine), Greg (Shelley), Ed (Elaine), Tim (Jacquie), Don and Matt (Renee) Heising; and paternal aunts, Connie Horling, Mrs. Scott (Violet) Boyers, Mrs. Douglas (Brenda) Hudson, Mrs. Randy (Tina) Graber and Melody Peters. Also surviving are many cousins and second cousins.
Visitation will be held Friday from 5-8 p.m. in the Crossroads Evangelical Church, 845 E. Leggett, Wauseon.
Funeral services will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. in the church sanctuary with Pastor Wes Hoffmire to officiate. Interment will be at the Wauseon Union Cemetery immediately following services.
Edgar-Grisier Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Betty J. Armitage
(1927 - 2004)

EDGERTON - Betty J. Armitage, 77, of Edgerton, died Monday, Dec. 6, 2004, at the home of her son in Hicksville, after a brief illness.
Born May 6, 1927, in Spencerville, to Evelyn (Strohl) and Harold P. McKinley, she married Charles A. Armitage on Feb. 12, 1945, at Spencerville, and he preceded her in death on Jan. 27, 1983. Employed as an assembler at Edgerton Metal Products, she had also worked at Fleetwood Industries and Air-Way Manufacturing in Edgerton prior to her retirement.
Surviving are three sons, Robert (and wife, Kay) Armitage of Pensacola, Fla., Michael (Linda) Armitage of Edgerton and Timothy (Carol) Armitage of Hicksville; eight grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; a brother, Harold R. McKinley of Lima; and a sister, Mary Lee of Spencerville. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by a grandson, Gregory Armitage; two brothers and two sisters.
Visitation will be held Thursday from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. in the Krill Funeral Home in Edgerton. Services will be held Friday at 11 a.m. in the funeral home. Burial will follow at Maple Grove Cemetery in Edgerton.
Memorials may be given to Community Hospitals and Wellness Centers-Hospice Care or a charity of the donor's choice.

Clarence R. "Todd" Buda
(1914 - 2004)

CAMDEN, Mich. - Clarence R. "Todd" Buda, 90, of Camden, died Sunday, Dec. 5, 2004, at the Laurels of Coldwater.
Born April 21, 1914, at Williams County, Ohio, to Flossie (Headley) and Emery Buda, he married Elizabeth Contarchick on May 25, 1949, and she survives.
A retired farmer, he had served five and a half years in the U.S. Army during World War II and received two bronze battle stars. He attended St. Paul Catholic Chapel at Clear Lake, Ind. and belonged to the Disabled Veterans and the Reading VFW.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by two sons, Bruce and Keith Buda of Camden; three grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Wayne Buda.
Visitation will be held Thursday evening from 6-8 p.m. in the George White Funeral Home, Reading. Funeral services will be held Friday at 11 a.m. in the funeral home with interment following in Columbia Cemetery, Columbia, Ohio.
Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.

Donald E. Miller
(1941 - 2004)

MONTPELIER - Donald E. Miller, 63, of Montpelier and a former resident of Defiance, died Monday, Dec. 6, 2004, at Medical College of Ohio Hospital, Toledo, after suffering a stroke on Thanksgiving Day.
Born Aug. 22, 1941, at Defiance, to Glola (Andrist) and Donald O. "Inky" Miller, he married G. Jeanne Vold on July 6, 1967, at Napoleon, and she survives.
A laborer at Johns Manville in Defiance for 44 years, he retired in January 2004. He was a member of the House of Prayer in Montpelier, the Montpelier Moose Lodge No. 312 and the Montpelier Eagles Aerie No. 2246.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Jack (Kim)  Jackson of Ney and Mrs. Chris (Kathy Ann) Bruns of Pioneer; two sons, Randy Miller of Defiance and U.S. Army SSG Donald Ray (and wife, Justine) Miller of Montpelier; 13 grandchildren; and three brothers, Jerry (Cheryl) Miller of Defiance, Lynn (Cheryl) Miller of Florida and Bob "Milo" (Cheryl) Miller of Defiance. He was preceded in death by his parents.
Visitation will be held Wednesday from 2-7 p.m. in the Krill Funeral Home, Bryan.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 7 p.m. in the funeral home with Pastor Don Harris to officiate.
Memorials may be made to the House of Prayer Building Fund.

William M. Huber
(1922 - 2004)

ARCHBOLD - William M. Huber, 82, of Archbold, died early Tuesday morning, Dec. 7, 2004, at Medical College of Ohio Hospital in Toledo, from injuries received in an automobile accident near Archbold on Nov. 22.
Born Sept. 2, 1922, at Pettisville, to Saverna (Nofzinger) and Arnold "Banty" Huber, he married Donna Wyse on Aug. 12, 1950, and she preceded him in death on April 11, 2001.
A lifelong resident of the Pettisville/Archbold area, he worked for Rupp Lumber Co. in Pettisville for many years. He was a Navy veteran of World War II and a member of the Crossroads Evangelical Church in Wauseon and American Legion Post No. 445.
He is survived by a brother, David Huber of Pettisville; nieces and nephews.
In addition to his wife, he was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Lloyd Huber and Dale Huber; and a sister, Georgia Rupp.
Visitation will be held Wednesday from 4-8 p.m. in the Short Funeral Home in Archbold.
Funeral services will be held Thursday at 11 a.m. in the funeral home. Interment will follow in the Pettisville Cemetery.
