Frank Karl Zotter
JACKSON, Mich. - Frank Karl Zotter, 86, of Jackson, died Tuesday, Dec. 28, 2004.
Surviving are his wife of 59 years, Margaret; two daughters, Joann Kingery of Jackson and Mrs. Joe (Kathy) Bandeen of Pioneer, Ohio; five grandchildren; four step-grandchildren, Curt (and wife, Patty) Bandeen and Mrs. John (Corisa) Tolford, of Toledo, Ohio; Mrs. Greg (Keely) Gamble of Van Wert, Ohio, and Mrs. Jeremy (Kara) Walker of Ferndale, Mich.; 20 great-grandchildren; a sister, Mary Sidwell of Spring Arbor; a daughter-in-law, Lynette Zotter; many nieces and nephews.
Preceding him in death were his parents and a son, Robert Zotter.
A lifelong member of St. Mary Star of the Sea Catholic Church, he represented the U. S. Army in World War II by serving in the China-Burma-India theater. He retired from the Jackson All Star Dairy after 25 years of service.
A memorial mass will be held Friday at noon in St. Mary Star of the Sea Catholic Church.

Robert C. Miller
(1917 - 2004)
STATE COLLEGE, Pa. - Robert C. Miller, 87, a resident of Fairways at Brookline Village, State College and formerly of Cincinnati, died Sunday, Dec. 26, 2004, at Bons Secour Hospital in Altoona.
Born Sept. 13, 1917, at Winona, Minn., to Bertha P. (Gfroer) and Charles L.C. Miller, he married Ardath L. Schneider on Sept. 27, 1941, and she survives.
A veteran of the U.S. Army during World War II, he was a graduate of the University of Cincinnati with a Bachelors degree in business and a Masters in Business Administration. He was a salesman for Connecticut Mutual Life Insurance and a member of the Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Cincinnati. In addition to his wife, he is survived by two sons, James H. (and wife, Marianne) Miller of Stormstown, Pa. and Steven R. (Jane) Miller of Bryan, Ohio; four grandchildren, Brad, Reed, Ryan and Derek; and a great-grandchild, Charles.
Preceding him in death were a son, John L. Miller and a brother, Howard J. Miller.
A funeral services will be held Sunday at 3 p.m. in the Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, Cincinnati. Visitation will follow the service at the church. Burial will be in the Rest Haven Memorial Park, Cincinnati.

Donald William Laramie
YORK, S.C. - Donald William Laramie, 71, of York, S.C., died Tuesday, Dec. 28, 2004, at Piedmont Medical Center.
A native of Detroit, Mich., he was a commercial truck driver.
Surviving are his wife, Sonya Mergenthal Laramie of the home; a stepson, Richard Downing of Rochelle, Ill.; a stepdaughter, Deanne Downing-Moskwa of West Unity, Ohio; and stepgrandchildren, McKenzie and Matthew Downing of Rochelle, and Sean, Brandon and Amber Moskwa of West Unity, Ohio.
Visitation will be held Thursday from 6-8 p.m. in the home. Private services and interment will be held.

Irene L. Covey
(1920 - 2004)
MONTPELIER - Irene L. Covey, 84, of rural Montpelier, died Tuesday evening, Dec. 28, 2004, at Evergreen Manor Nursing Home, Montpelier, following a lingering illness.
Born July 3, 1920, near Alvordton, to Anna (Businger) and Charles Wayne Frisbie, she married Walter E. Covey and he preceded her in death on Dec. 18, 1983.
A lifelong Williams County resident, she was a homemaker.
She is survived by a son, Timothy (and wife, Judy) Covey of Montpelier; a daughter, Mrs. Dan (Mary Lou) Henry of Caddo, Texas ; a stepson, Harold Covey of Norman Park, Ga.; nine grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; a brother, Francis Frisbie of Montpelier; and two sisters, Mrs. Edgar (Birdena) Dixon and Mrs. Florence Govin, both of Montpelier.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by a stepdaughter, Darlene Sharrar, and a sister, Helen Clinger.
Visitation will be held Thursday from 4-8 p.m. in Wilson-Geesey Funeral Home, Montpelier. Funeral services will be held Friday at 11 a.m. in the funeral home with Pastor Jeff Davis to officiate. Burial will be in Floral Grove Cemetery, Pioneer.
