Mary L. Horner
Mary L. Horner, age 88, of Zanesville, Ohio, died at 7:10 PM Wednesday, January 15, 2003 at the Willow Haven Care Center, Zanesville Ohio. She was born April 8, 1914, in Morgantown W VA., the daughter of the late Bruce and Jessie L. Spurgeon O'Neal. Mrs. Horner was a former Pennsylvania resident moving to Zanesville in 1990. She was a member of the N. Chareroi Pa. Assembly of God, the Full Gospel Church in California Pa. and the Trinity Full Gospel Church in Zanesville.

Surviving are one daughter, Rochelle L. (Gene) Shipley of Nashport Ohio, two sisters, Nelma (Beatty) Cole of Masontown W VA., and Gale Jones, formally of Columbus, Ohio, now in Las Vegas, two grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren, two step grandchildren,four step great grandchildren, and nine great great grandchildren.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Jesse F. Horner,(5/31/1969), two sisters Golda (Sally) Neavin, and Beulah (Bude) Molisee, two brothers, Edwin O'Neal and William O'Neal and a great granddaughter Deara Lynn Cole.

Friends may call 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM Friday, January 17, 2003, at the Bolin Funeral Home, 1271 Blue Ave. Zanesville, Ohio. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM Saturday, January 18, 2003, at the Monongahela Valley Memorial Park with the Rev. Lgene Bonnell officiating. Burial will follow the service.

Samuel A. Still

Samuel A. ( Sam) Still, age 81, of Zanesville, Ohio, died at 6:14 p.m. Tuesday, January 14, 2003 at Adams Lane Care Center. He was born January 29, 1921, in Caldwell Ohio, the son of the late Samuel A. & Estella Morris Still. Mr. Still was a retired sales person. He was a member of the First Christian Church where he served as trustee and active in the men's ministry. He was a Past
Lt. Governor, Past President and a long time member of the Zanesville Optimist Club.Mr. Still was a Navy veteran of World War II serving in the Seabees.

Surviving is his wife, Betty M. Brauning Still, whom he married May 7/1994), one daughter Linda S. (Fleming) Clark of Zanesville, two sons, Larry R. Still (Carol Palmer) of Zanesville, Mark A. (Connie ) Still of Norwich, Ohio; son-in-law Timothy Kieffer of Zanesville, one sister Carole ( George ) Damon of Lawton, OK; three step daughters, Marcia Rock of West Milton OH., Lynne (Alan) Leasure of Zanesville, and Jayne (Steve) Strous of Circleville, Oh.;seven grandchildren, Melissa Faulhaber, Craig Savage, John Savage, Michael Six, Kimberly Hartman, Dawn Woodrow, and Adam Kieffer; and six great grandchildren

Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife Esthel Cain Still, who died March1, 1993, by daughter Candice Kieffer who died December 14, 2002, by a grandson Russell B. Still.

Friends may call 2 to 4 & 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, January 16, 2003 at Bolin Funeral Home, 1271 Blue Avenue Zanesville. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday, January 17, 2003 at First Christian Church, 3000 Dresden Road with the Rev. Dawn Remster officiating. Friends may call one hour prior to service time at the church. Burial will follow at Hoskinsville Cemetery, near Belle Valley.

In Lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the First Christian Church.

Dillard Webster Cox
Dillard Cox, age 88, of Zanesville, Ohio formerly of Hamilton, Ohio passed away, Monday, January 13, 2003. He was born in Hamilton, the son of James and Minnie Cox. He attended Hamilton High School. His occupation was that of a machinist, working for Herring Hall Co, Niles Tool Works in Hamilton and retiring from GE Lockland. He was co-owner of a dairy farm
in St. Clair Twp., for many years. He enjoyed dancing and playing music on many instruments and he and his friends played for the Senior Citizens and VFW. He was a member of the Eagles. The Cox Nature Preserve, located at the Greater YMCA Farm was named for him and his family. He was married in 1936 to Susie Isaacs.

He is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Rev. Webster and Sherry Cox of Zanesville, Gary and Kathy Cox of Ashtabula and one daughter and son-in-law, Phyllis and Charles Vitale of Madeira Beach, FL., He is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents and 7 sisters.

Friends may call from 2-4 p.m. Thursday, January 16, 2003 at Bolin Funeral Home, 1271 Blue Avenue, Zanesville.Funeral services will be held at the chapel in Greenwood Cemetery, 1602 Greenwood Avenue, Hamilton, Ohio at 1:00 p.m. Friday, January 17, 2003. Rev. Webster Cox will be officiating. Visitation will be held at the Chapel one hour prior to service.

Memorial contributions may be made to Coburn United Methodist Church.

Iva King
Iva King, of Columbus, Formerly of Zanesville died at 10:54 p.m. Monday, January 6, 2003 at St. Anns Hospital, Westerville. She was born January 31, 1913 at Hurricane, WV, a daughter of the late Jesse & Ethel Williams Bird. She was a Avon Sales representative for over twenty years and a charter member of the South Zanesville Church of the Nazarene.

Surviving is her husband, Edgar King of The Gardens of New Albany, son, Donald ( Shirley ) King of Lansing, MI.; daughter, Mary Lou ( Robert ) Grundy of Columbus; four grandchildren, Scott King, Michele Klavohn, Steven Grundy & Lisa Lewis; seven great grandchildren; three sisters; Zelma Ward & Wilma McAtee both of Zanesville, Opal Chapman of Hurricane, WV.; brother, Donald Bird of Ashland.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by three brothers, Richard, Ira, & Robert Bird.

Friends may call from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. Thursday, Janaury 9, 2003 at Bolin Funeral Home, 1271 Blue Avenue, Zanesville where services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday, January 10, 2003 with Rev. Richard Thompson officiating. Entombment will follow at Zanesville Memorial Park.

Richard M.Wolfe
Richard M. Wolfe, age 79, of Zanesville, Ohio, died Monday December 30, 2002 at his residence. He was born May 2, 1923 in New Lexington, Ohio the son of the late Ray N. & Verda P. Baker Wolfe. Mr. Wolfe was a retired employee of the Ohio Bell Co. and a member of the Coburn United Methodist Church.

Surviving are his wife Jane L. Krause Wolfe of the home, one daughter, Rayna Wolfe of Columbus, one son Richard M. Wolfe II of Columbus, one sister Betty McCabe of Columbus, and four grandchildren, Mark R. Wolfe, Erik W. Wolfe, Amanda S. Wolfe, and Katie Raye Wolfe.

Besides his parents he was preceded in death by a sister Sue Kelly.

A memorial Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, January 11, 2003 at Bolin Funeral Home, 1271 Blue Avenue, Zanesville with Rev. Richard Donnell officiating. Burial will be at New Lexington Cemetery.

Louella M. Gray
Louella M. Gray, 80 of Jacksonville, Fla., formerly of Zanesville, Ohio died at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday, December 17, 2002 at Memorial Hospital, Jacksonville, Fla. She was born January 23, 1922 at Guernesy Co., Ohio at daughter of the late Raymond & Mary Duff Cunningham. She was a packer for Mosiac Tile Company, member of Euclid Avenue United Methodist Church, Eastern Star and VFW Ladies Auxillary.

Surviving is a daughter & son-in-law, Mary Louise & Charles Darner of Jacksonville, Fla.; three grandchildren, Robert, Scott & Erin Gable; six grandchildren, Brittaney Darner, Emily Gable, Madyson Darner, Bailey Darner, Brian Darner, & Byron Darner; two nephews, Randy & Rodney
Henwood both of Lancaster, Ohio.

She was preceded in death in addition to her parents by her husband, Charles Gray.

No calling hours will be observed, a caring cremation has taken place. Graveside services will be held 10:00 a.m. Saturday, January 11, 2003 at Greenwood Cemetery with Rev. Clarence Dinnen officiating. Funeral procession will leave the funeral home at 9:45a.m. Bolin Funeral Home,
1271 Blue Avenue entrusted with arrangements.

Frances Dunzweiler

Mary Frances " Fran " " Mrs. D. " Dunzweiler, 99 of Zanesville, Ohio, died at 8:44 a.m. Sunday, January 5, 2003 at Sunnyview Nursing Home. She was born December 9, 1903 in Zanesville and was baptized 2 weeks later. She was the daughter of the late C. Howard & Sarah L. Fall Denny.She knit socks during World War I for the soldiers, she organized the 1st church library at
Grace United Methodist Church, She taught daily vacation bible school from June-July, worked for the American Red Cross rolling bandages during World War II, taught disaster classes- fed people during any disaster for the Red Cross, Life member of AAUW, Phi Beta Kappa honorary
fraternity, member of Wesleyan Circle, taught Home Economics at Roosevelt Junior High School for 46 years and one year at Garfield, Graduated from Ohio Wesleyan College, member of Chi Omega social sorority.

Surviving are several distant cousins.

She was preceded in death in addition to her parents by her husband, George C. Dunzweiler, who died April 24, 1947 and whom she married August 19, 1942.

Friends may call from 11:00 a.m. till service time on Wednesday, January 8, 2002 at Bolin Funeral Home, 1271 Blue Avenue, Zanesville where services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday with Rev. Michael Donnally officiating. Burial will follow at Greenwood Cemetery, Zanesville.

In Lieu of flowers, Memorial contributions may be made to Grace United Methodist Church Centennial Fund in Fran's memory.

Charles Hill
Charles P. Hill, 81 of Zanesville died at 9:40 a.m. Saturday, January 4, 2003 at his daughter's home. He was born July 17, 1921 at Murray, Kentucky a son of the late Perry & Rubye C. Wilson Hill. He was a member of Grace United Methodist Church, a World War II Navy Veteran. He was plant manager at Bohn Aluminum Plant in Detroit, MI, then moved to
Bellefonataine, Ohio as plant manager of National Extrusion Co. Mr. Hill was owner & operator of Culligan Water Softener in Cambridge, later was employed as a stock broker for Hay Investment Company, he later leased land for Horizon Coal Company. He was a member of Zanesville Country Club and an avid golfer.

Surviving is his wife of 57 years, Margaret Feder Hill of the home, daughter, Charlene ( Robert J. ) Lewis of Zanesville, two granddaughters, Susan Lewis & Jamie Lewis both of Zanesville.

Friends may call from 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, January 7, 2003 at Bolin Funeral Home, 1271 Blue Avenue, Zanesville where services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, January 8, 2003 with Rev. Michael Donnally officiating. Burial will follow at Zanesville Memorial Park.

Lurebelle V. " Mickey " Cohagan

Lurebelle V. " Mickey " Burns Cohagan, 90 of Buckeye Lake passed away January 3, 2003 at Newark Health Care Center after an extended illness. She was born November 20, 1912 in Nelsonville, Ohio. She married Frank Cohagan in 1948.

She is survived by a brother, Denver Burns in Dayton, Ohio; five step-children; Betty ( Clarence) Nave of Columbia, SC, Franklin ( Jan) Cohagan of Westerville, Martha ( Jack) Van Reeth of Groveport, Dwight ( Carol) Cohagan of Parma & Mary Cohagan of Buckeye Lake. nine grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren and special granddaughter, Candice Wallen & her beloved
cats.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Frank Cohagan, who died February 3, 1983.

No calling hours will be observed. Private Funeral services will be held Tuesday, January 7, 2003 at Bolin Funeral Home, 1271 Blue Avenue, Zanesville . Burial will follow at Zanesville Memorial Park.

Paul W. Hoadley
Paul W. Hoadley, 75, of Nashport, Ohio died at 2:29 p.m. Wednesday, January 1, 2003 at Riverside Hospital, Columbus. He was born June 14, 1927 in Youngstown, a son of the late Paul Sr. & Nellie Walters Hoadley. He was a self-employed contractor, attended Nashport United Methodist Church, was a member of Lafayette Lodge # 79 F& AM, World War II Army Veteran, and a member of the American Legion.

Surviving is his wife, Letha Emerick Hoadley, whom he married January 29, 1947 of the home, son, Bill ( Carol) Hoadley of Nashport; daughter, Karen ( Rodney) Hayes of Zanesville; five grandchildren, Doug ( Lynn) Swingle of Newark, Deanna ( Joe ) Lear of Zanesville, Misty ( Chad) Hutchison of Athens, Monica & Mandy Hoadley both of Nashport; three great grandchildren, Emily Swingle of Newark, Brandon & Haleigh Lear of Zanesville; four sisters, Erla Factor & friend Warren Sharkey of Nashport, Florence ( Ed) Moore of Roseville, Delores Kauf of New Salem, & Joann Munyan of Seville; two brothers, Emmett ( Helen ) Hoadley of Roseville, & Bob ( Rose) Hoadley of Zanesville; several nieces & nephews, & friends.

Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters, Yvonne Wisecarver & Frances Robbins.

No calling hours will be observed. Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, January 4, 2003 at Irville Cemetery, Nashport with Pastor's Larry & Valerie  Johnson officiating. VFW George Selsam Post 1058 will hold military rites at the grave.Bolin Funeral Home, 1271 Blue Avenue, Zanesville entrusted with arrangements.

In lieu of flowers; Memorial contributions may be made to Nashport United Methodist Church in memory of Paul.
