Rev. Harley Hensley, evangelist
The Rev. Harley Hensley's ministry began late in his life but it was far reaching. He preached to people in Ohio, Kentucky, Indiana, Virginia, West Virginia and Michigan.
Rev. Hensley, 79, of Taylor Mill, Ky., was an evangelist and member of the Community Pentecostal Church in Independence, Ky. He died Monday.
"Everyone loved him. He was a good fa ther and a good husband," said Rev. Hensley's wife of 63 years, Audrey M. Hensley.
Rev. Hensley's ministry began years after he left behind a country music band and factory work. For years, he toured in a band with family members. He also worked for years at the General Electric plant in Evendale.
He also leaves sons, Harley Jr. of Independence, Ky., Dennis Hensley and John Hensley Jr., both of Taylor Mill, and Jesse Hensley of Williamstown, Ky.; daughters, Barbara Ballard of Independence, Irene Schwaller of Taylor Mill and Judy Ireland of Florence, Ky.; sisters, Mary Prizer and Leona Breashers, both of Dayton, Ohio; 25 grandchildren, 37 great-grandchildren and a great-great-grandchild.

William F. McAllister, electrical engineer
William F. McAllister, 90, a retired electrical engineer who headed several major construction projects in Greater Cincinnati, died Tuesday.
The Springdale resident was a founding partner of the firm, Elliston, Hall, McAllister and Stockwell, Architects and Engineers, and was the principal consulting electrical engineer at the then-Greater Cincinnati Airport from 1953-74. Other large projects included Jewish Hospital, Hebrew Union College, Northern Kentucky University and the Cincinnati Convention Center. He retired as engineer at Mapleknoll Village, Springdale, in 1985.
Mr. McAllister was a graduate of New York University and studied advanced math and electronics at the University of Cincinnati.
He leaves his wife, Mary; daughters Margaret M. Ward, of Westfield, N.J., and Ann Delmore, of Madison, Wisc.; and two grandchildren.
Services: 1:30 p.m. Saturday at Mapleknoll Village Chapel. Memorials: Mapleknoll Village Future Care Fund.

Burnett Williams, police captain
Burnett Williams Jr. will be remembered as a soft-spoken, determined Cincinnati police officer who cared deeply about his community.
Mr. Williams, 65, of Amberley Village, died Wednesday.
He rose to the rank of captain in the Cincinnati Police Division where he served for 35 years. He retired in 1993. His assignments included working on the district level and in community relations, vice squad, internal investigations and personnel. He was also a night commander.
Officers recall his willingness to pass on his experience to younger officers and his love for his profession. He was promoted to the rank of captain in 1988.
Mr. Williams, a native of Cynthiana, Ky., was a 1955 graduate of Kentucky State University and the FBI National Academy.
A religious man, he was a trustee of the Allen Temple AME Church. He also served there as an usher and as a member of the building committee. He had looked forward to the building of a new Allen Temple Church, the oldest African-American congregation west of Pittsburgh.
He was a member of the Cincinnati Alumni Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, True American Lodge Masons, Fraternal Order of Police, Retired Cincinnati and Hamilton County Police Officers, the Sentinel Police Association and the Lincoln Douglas Republican Club.
Survivors: his wife, LaGracia Guice-Williams; sons, Burnett Williams III and Broderick Williams, both of Cincinnati; and sisters, Anna Way of Richmond, Ky. and Sara Page of Hampton, Va.
Services: 11 a.m. Saturday at the Allen Temple AME Church, 7181 Reading Road, Roselawn. Visitation: 6-8 tonight at the Thompson, Hall and Jordan Funeral Home, 6943 Montgomery Road, Silverton.
