Helen Kennedy Fiege wrote shows that aired on radio in the 1930s.
Mrs. Fiege, 98, was manager of radio advertising for the Kroger Co., and was the author of dramas such as "Linda's First Love," said her sister-in-law Louise Kennedy of Ryland, Ky.
"She was dynamic," Mrs. Kennedy said. "You never knew anybody who had more pep than she did. She worked and worked and worked."
Mrs. Fiege died Tuesday. Mrs. Fiege was a frequent speaker on advertising topics at clubs and business meetings in the region.
She and her late husband, Martin Fiege, owned Applegate & Mose, in Newport, and the Kent Corporation in Latonia, which manufactured bathroom cabinets and fixtures.
The Fieges maintained residences in Florida, Cincinnati and Ryland, Ky., and were avid horse racing fans and owners of several thoroughbreds that raced and won at Keeneland.
She is survived by several nieces and nephews.
